Mac (Snoop Dogg) is the coolest weed dealer at N. Hale High. Devin (Wiz Khalifa) is the brainy class valedictorian. Devin needs straight 'A's to get a scholarship, and Mac needs to finally graduate so he can date a sexy substitute teacher. But when these two are teamed on a big chemistry project, they'll need each other to get over. Now with the help of their shady math teacher (Mike Epps), a demented classmate (Andy Milonakis), new tattoos, sexy strippers, some trippy animation and the finest kush in Cali, can Mac and Devin keep it young, wild and free?

I hate to even admit it but I enjoyed the opening of the film that has a talking joint informing you that the only way to watch this film is to be stoned. In fact I think I got most of my laughs from the joint whenever he would show up. But let's be honest here, this wasn't made to win any awards and it has it's target audience so I think it should do well on video but it's not something I would normally watch. There isn't much plot here and the acting is pretty weak except for a few of the cast members. It makes you wonder why these rappers just don't stick with doing their music.

I can't bash the film altogether since there was some good laughs in it but it's mostly about smoking weed so if you're not into that sort of thing I say give it a pass. One thing the film did right was the filmmakers kept the run time short otherwise it would of become pretty boring after awhile. Like I said you have to like this sort of comedy, you can't take a movie serious when there's a school named N. Hale High School and a Principal named Skinnfloot in it.

This isn't something I would revisit but for those that like this kind of stoner comedy you are going to want to check it out. Available on DVD and Blu-ray, both come with Special Features that include:

Audio Commentary with Director Dylan Brown, Executive Producer/Actor Snoop Dogg and Actor Wiz Khalifa

I kept this review short because there's really not much to add to the plot, what is written above is enough to know and to say anything more might ruin some of the fun for those that like this sort of comedy.
