In present-day New York City, cop Sam Tyler (Jason O'Mara) is struck by a car and transported to 1973. But is Sam really lost in time, or is it an illusion resulting from his accident? As Sam tries to figure it all out, he attempts to continue his job with the N.Y.P.D. and discovers that police work has come a long way in 35 years. Michael Imperioli and Harvey Keitel co-star in this American version of the hit British show from David E. Kelley.

Well I can't say that this show is original since it is taken from the British show but since I never seen that one I got to say this was refreshing to say the least, it is sad that it only aired the one season. It was exciting from the beginning to the end of each episode featuring a fantastic in 'The Sopranos' Michael Imperioli and the always brilliant Harvey Keitel. I never watched this when it was on Television but I started to watch it right away when I received my copy for review and I got to say this series just got better with every episode. One nice thing as well was the final show wrapped everything up, I guess they knew ahead the show was only going to get one season but either way the did a fantastic putting all the pieces together in the end, this is well worth picking up because to me it had to be one of the best shows on TV in 2008. Everything was great about the show, the acting, costumes and period music were all simply amazing. Some say if you ever seen the original series you would hate this one but I cannot see how, this was a great show and it's a shame it got canceled while other shows that just don't cut it continue to air. Anyway, if you love Television and never seen this show I highly recommend picking this up, if you saw the show and loved it then I know you already own it.
