When the King is killed by ferocious reptile beasts, his Queen takes control of the kingdom. She tries to kill her beautiful stepdaughter SNOW, but she escapes into the enchanted forest...

There's a few plots going on here at once or should I say evil plans. You see the evil Queen is figuring to kill off Snow White so she will again be the fairest of them all once again but she is also looking to join kingdoms by marrying the Prince from a nearby kingdom after she has her husband killed so that she can take over all the land and take away the falling star from the neighboring Elves. To go into anymore details about the story would only ruin it for those wanting to see it so I will stop here.

The film was shoot in Europe where they have castles and sweeping landscapes and it makes for the perfect setting for Snow White and the enchanted forest. Another thing the film really has going to it is it's cast, Jane March is the perfect evil Queen, Jamie Thomas King makes for a wonderful Prince and Eliza Bennett is perfect as Snow with her beauty.

The film is a wonderful take on Grimm's Snow White with a little Lord of The Rings tossed in. There's romance, action, adventure and even a little magic and beastly creatures along the way. Due to it's location the film looks beautiful and when you combine that with wonderful camera work and a terrific cast you end up with a wonderful little fantasy.

If you like a good fantasy/adventure then I recommend checking this out, don't expect a big Hollywood production here and you should be fine. The film looks wise is easily The Asylum's best to date. Hollywood has two Snow White films coming out this year but when it's all said and done I will not be surprised if The Asylum's Snow White turns out to be the fairest of them all.
