Hapless fashion student Brooke (Kaley Cuoco) can't seem to catch a break, especially with popular rival Candace (Megan Fox) constantly cutting her down. But when Brooke's grandfather dies and leaves her the family business, she suddenly becomes a mob boss. Thanks to her right-hand man, George (Dominic Chianese), Brooke is poised to climb the ladder of success -- but her crush on a FBI agent posing as a student could derail her plans.

This ABC Family comedy comes as advertised, it's silly, funny and just plain light entertainment. The film obviously bills Megan Fox as the headliner here but she doesn't have that big a role, the film clearly belongs to Kaley Cuoco who steals the show in every scene she is in. I am not that familiar with her work but she does a great job playing her role here. This is the kind of entertainment that the family can watch together and you don't have to worry about the kids watching something that is too much for them. The film reminded me of another theatrical release from years ago, "Married to The Mob", but a much lighter version of it. You have star power with the cast here and the story is entertaining and well written for a Television movie. Lively and a feel good story that just makes for a good time if you want to sit back and can't be bothered with something you have to think too much about. I am not sure why this took so long to make it's way to DVD since it originally aired on TV back in 2004 but if you have seen it and liked the film now is your chance to own it. There can never be enough family oriented entertainment so this will make a nice addition your video library.
