A group of coeds from a small conservative college break out of their shells when their marching band bus breaks down in Ft. Lauderdale during Spring Break.
The Art-work for "Bikini Spring Break" tells the whole story. The film deals with five naive band camp geeks that have just won a trip to the nationals in Florida but when their bus breaks down in Ft. Lauderdale during spring break their introduced to a life style they never knew existed.
In the tradition of "American Pie" and "Road Trip" the film stars Robert Carradine as the girl's drunken coach whose marriage seems to be on the rocks when his wife tells him on the phone that the plumber has to spend the night because of a leak. There's nothing ground breaking here but did you really expect there to be? As advertised there's plenty of hot chicks in bikinis and the film offers up lots of boobage and plenty of sex jokes as well. Plus there's loads of adventure when the girls decide to try and raise the money to get to their competition by having a car cash, participating in jello wrestling, a hot t-shirt contest and even riding a mechanical bull.
I have to say I really enjoyed all the eye candy and I found myself laughing out loud several times during the film. "Bikini Spring Break" is the kind of film you either like or you don't, you guys are going to enjoy it much more than the ladies will but I thought it was a comedy every hot blooded American can enjoy. The cast did a great job, it was nice to see Carradine again on screen and all the ladies in the film played their roles very well. The film moves at a really good pace and it stays lively all the way to the end, Director, Jared Cohn did a great job keeping it moving and he seems to have a talent for making this type of comedy.
So if you get offended by raunchy humor I recommend you look for something else but if you enjoy this type of comedy from time to time then I highly recommend checking it out because it's a lot of fun.
