Quinn sat back in her chair backstage. She saw Zac grinning smugly to himself as the interview drew to a close. She didn't really mind that he didn't say her name. They weren't really 'together', anyhow. She wasn't his girlfriend, and they weren't really dating. She looked up when she heard the door open, and Walker came in with the three boys in tow.
Each one went straight to their restpective woman, and Walke busied himself talking to Ash.
"That was so romantic of you." Angela said, giving Isaac a quick kiss on the cheeck.
"Did you mind? I thought about that later if we told them about the wedding."
"No, it's fine." She said. "Why would I care?"
"Well, because of your parents and Alan and everything...." Isaac trailed off.
"No, I've pushed that out." Angela said with a smile."
"Really?"
"Really." She said. "I'm only focusing on the important things now."
Isaac looked at his wife-to-be and grinned. They kissed for a few seconds, then went over to sit on a couch.
"So, that was okay?" Taylor asked Shirley as they sat down nearby.
"No, that was fine."
"I didn't want to say your name, for safety reasons." Taylor said.
"Taylor, I don't care." She said laughing.
"Okay." He said. "Just making sure."
"Honey, it's fine; you did fine." Shirley said, laughing.
"Okay." He said, smiling at her. He stared at her, unable to tear his eyes away. How was he so lucky that he found someone as forgiving and loving as she was?
"Taylor? Are you okay?" Shirley asked, waving her hand in front of his face.
Taylor jumped a bit, and then smiled. "I"m fine....just thinking." He said.
"Okay." Shirley smiled. Taylor sure was strange sometimes.
"Hey beautiful." Zac found Quinn standing next to a table of food in the corner of the room.
"Hey." She said. "Don't call me that." She giggled.
"Why not?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Because...." She said.
"You are..." He said, leaning in the kiss her. Quinn pressed her fingers against his lips and pushed him away.
"What?"
"Not in front of everyone." She said, her eyes scanning the room.
Zac looked around. "No one's watching." He insisted.
"Later." She said.
"But I want to kiss you so bad." He said. "Just one?"
"No, there are people around."
"I'll fix that." He said. He grabbed her hand and led her out of the room, then down a hallway. They turned a corner, and then found themselves in an area behind the stage part, where there were backrounds and props from the show. It was mostly dark, and only a little light shone into the area from the stage.
"Now we're alone." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Yes indeed." She said, welcoming his lips onto hers.
