Zac brought his stick down on his symbol hard, then muffled the sound. They held the last note of the song, waiting. The studio audience burst into a roar of applause, and Isaac smiled and dropped his hand from the neck of his guitar, Taylor grinned and stepped back from his keyboard, and Zac started twirling his stick.

"Thanks guys! We'll be right back with Hanson!" Jay Leno said, walking over to shake their hands.

"Oh!" Shirley squealed. "I love watching them on TV!"

"I know!" Quinn said. "I used to watch them all the time."

"Yeah. I've watched them ever since I knew Taylor."

"Is Taylor going to tell them about you when Jay askes if he's got a girlfriend?" Angela asked.

Shirley nodded. "Yeah. Tonight's the night." She said, grinning excitedly. The three women squealed excitedly. They were backstage at the Tonight Show, in the green room, watching the show.

"That's great." Angela said.

"Yeah. I'm really nervous for some reason."

"I was too." Angela said.

"When did Isaac tell Jay about you two?" Shirley asked.

Angela thought a moment. "I think it was spring of last year. Yeah. Right before the tour last year."

"Oh, how romantic." Quinn said.

"Yeah." Angela said. "He was gone such a long time."

"I'm going to miss them this time." Shirley said.

"Me too." Quinn said.

"What about you?" SHirley asked. "Is Zac gonna spill the beans yet about you two?"

Quinn blushed. "Shirley..." She laughed. "His parents don't even know."

Shirley and Angela looked at each other and laughed. "Honey, everyone knows. It's a little obvious."

Quinn bit her lip and blushed harder. "Is it really?"

The two other women nodded, and all three of them burst out laughing.

"I guess it is."

"Oh!" Angela said, pointing to the TV. "They're back from commercial!"
