Diana flung the door open to find a red-cheeked Taylor and Shirley standing on the doorstep.

"Hello! Merry Christmas! Come in! It's freezing out there!" She exclaimed, pulling the two indoors.

"Hey Ma." Taylor said, kissing his mother on the cheek.

"Hi Diana. Merry Christmas." Shirley said, giving the woman a hug.

"Oh, I'm so glad you two are here, we're about to start dinner!" She said, leading the pair into the living room, where the eight foot, sparkling Hanson Christmas tree stood, shinging and blinking in all it's glory.

"The tree looks great mom." Taylor said.

"Thanks. Your brother did most of it." Diana admitted.

"Zac?"

"mmmhmmm."

"Did I hear my name?" Zac asked, sauntering out of the kitchen with a grin on his face.

"Speaking of the devil." Shirley said with a giggle.

"Isn't that right?" Quinn laughed, following close behind Zac.

"Yup." Taylor said. He patted his brother on the shoulder. "Merry Christmas, bro."

"Yeah. You too." Zac said. "Hey mom, when's dinner?"

Diana chuckled as she walked over to the dining area. "Now, if I can get you to all sit down." She joked.

"Alright, alright." Taylor said, trying to herd everyone towards the dining room. Once they sat down and said the prayer, Zac looked around the table.

His mother, his father, every single one of his siblings, mr. and mrs. Robison, and Quinn were all seated at the long table. He watched as everyone laughed and smiled as they passed around the food. He felt as though he was on the outside, looking at this family. This happy, joyfull, perfect family. He watched them for a few more minutes, feeling almost surreal.

"Zac! Zac?" He felt Quinn nudging him and calling his name. He quickly snapped out of his reverie and remembered where he was.

"Oh, sorry. Spaced out there a second. What did you say?"

Quinn's look of concern faded into a smile. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah..." Zac nodded. "Fine."

"Oh...you looked a little dazed there for a second. Did you want some mashed potatoes?"

Zac looked into her warm brown eyes and he knew that he had to tell her. Soon.

"Zac?"

Once again he came back to reality. He smiled. "Yeah. Definitely."

He shared a smile with Quinn before scooping more mashed potatoes onto his plate.
