"So you have a girlfriend?" Quinn asked.

"Well...I guess you could say that, yeah." Zac said as nonchalantly as possible.

"What do you mean?" She asked with a giggle. "Either you do or you don't."

"I guess I do...but I haven't seen her in awhile." He said.

"Oh. How long is awhile?"

"Um, In the past five months, I've seen her twice." He replied.

"Wow."

"But we were working on the album, so..."

"I guess." Quinn said, biting her nail. "When was the last time you saw her?"

"Uh...Two weeks ago?" Zac guessed. "Shit, I forgot."

"Good boyfriend." She commented.

"Well...I was planning on breaking up with her anyway." Zac said.

Quinn frowned. "Why?"

"Because I don't like of her. I'm sick of her. I'm looking for other prospects." He casually looked up at Quinn to see what she thought. They were sitting in the Hanson living room, and they had just come home from a full day. Zac had taken her around town, showing her anything new, and they had gone to MOE headquarters, and the new Hanson studio. Now they were talking and doing more catching up, and Zac had been hinting all night about his possible available-and-very-willing state. Quinn wasn't catching on.

"Oh." She replied, still biting her nail.

Zac sighed and leaned back in his armchair. His stomach grumbled, and it reminded him that they still hadn't eaten dinner, and it was almost seven.

"What do you wan to do for dinner?" he asked.

"Uh...what do we have?"

"Sheesh, Quinn, what don't we have?" He racked his brain for something different, something new. Nothing really popped up.

"I have on idea."

"I don't even know what I want." Zac muttered.

They sat in silence for a few moments, just pondering what they were in the mood for when Quinn looked at him. "McDonalds?" She said hopefully.

Zac grinned and stood up. "Now you're talkin." He said. He jammed his hat back on his head and pulled her off the couch.

"I can tell we're going for excuisite dining this evening." She said with a laugh.

"That's me, Mr. Fancy Smancy." Zac said.

"You're such a ham." She said, stopping to put on her jacket and hand him his.

"I know." He said. They put on their jackets, and Quinn stuck a hat on her head as well.

"Oh well. I'd rather go to McDonalds than a real restaurant anyhow." She said with a laugh.

Zac smiled and grabbed her into a hug.

"Ah! Zac! You maniac!" She shrieked as he squeezed her.

"You see, that's why we're so perfect for one another." He said over her screeches. "I could never take just any girl out to Mickey D's and they would be happy with it." He said as Quinn continued to screech and holler. "You're special." They were both was almost crying with laughter by the time he finished.

Soon Quinn stopped struggling, and hugged him back, resting her head on his chest. "I really am glad I'm back." She murmured. She inhaled Zac's scent that she loved so much from his sweater.

"I'm glad you are too." He said, rocking back and forth. Quinn giggled and sighed. He kissed the top of her head lightly and continued rocking. "I'm glad you are too." He repeated, meaning every word more than she could know.
