Zac rode the rest of the way in silence while Isaac and Taylor chatted away about the new record in the front seat. When they finally pulled up to the Hanson house, Zac was the first out of the car and to the door. He anxiously waited for his brothers to join him on the front steps, then he opened the door. They walked down the hall to the living room, where they could hear their mother chatting away. They finally reached it, and Zac stood in the doorway.

"Oh, boys, you're here!" Diana said.

"yeah." Taylor said, giving his mother a hug.

"What took you so long?" She asked. The room then errupted into talking and laughing, and Zac's eyes scanned the room. Mackie, his dad, some woman, Zoe and two other little kids, Mr. Robinson, Avery, Jessica... He eyes shifted around the room until they met another pair and stopped.

Sitting next to his two sisters on an ottaman, sat Quinn. She almost wasn't recognizable. She looked like Quinn...just different. She grinned wickedly at him from her place, her eyes shining. Zac walked towards her, and she jumped up and raced to him. She threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. Zac returned the favor and squeezed her back, lifting her off the ground.

"Zac...I missed you so much." She whispered.

"I missed you too." Zac said. He set her down and looked at her. The same brown eyes, the same, shoulder length, dark brown hair, and the same, dazzling smile, this time post braces. Wow. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a hottie on our hands...he thought. Quinn still looked like Quinn....but she was hot. Her every sporty t-shirt and baggy jeans had been replaced with tighter, close fitting, dark blue jeans and a lonsleeved, low cut, V-neck red shirt. Her hair was cut at her chin, and shone brightly. They looked at each other for a moment before Zac hugged her tightly again. He couldn't help it, but it felt so good. In the million times he had dreamt of this moment, nothing could compare to actually holding her in his arms. It felt so good, so right....

"Dinner, everyone!" Diana said. Zac snapped his head over to the doorway of the dining room, where his mother was standing.

"Yeah, they boys must be starving!" Mr. Robinson said. He patted Zac on the shoulder. "Zac, good to see you!"

"Good to see you too." he said, shaking Quinn's dad's hand.

"Ya look good, son." He said.

"Thank you. Likewise." he added with a grin.

Mr. Robinson smiled at Zac, then everyone proceeded to the table. Shirley was already there, awaiting Taylor. Zac felt a twinge of jealousy as he watched his brother give his girlfriend a short but sweet kiss on the lips. Zac wasn't jealous of shirley or his brother, but he was jealous of the fact that they had each other. The past couple of weeks, Zac had felt very left out when his brothers talked about love.
