Taylor sat down on the corner of his bed, and put this hands over his face as he sighed. What did he do wrong? He could always repel women, and he didn't realy understand why. He knew that he wanted to go with her for more than business reasons. She was vibrant and beautiful, exactly what he had been looking for. She had her own opinions, and she had certainly voiced them while they had been talking.

He only had one more idea to get her back, and he sure hoped that it worked....

"Susan, i need to talk to you." Nadine said, dragging the woman away from her cart that she was pushing down the hall.

"What is it?" Susan asked, following Nadine down the hall.

"I need to talk to you about something." she said, opening the door to the storage room.

"Okay, go ahead. Is it about that fellow you ate breakfast with?" Susan said, smiling.

"Yes. Oh, and quit smiling!" Nadine said with an exaspereated sigh.

"Alright. Now what's wrong sweetie?" The older woman asked.

"Well, I spent the morning with this Taylor guy, and he asked me on a date." She said.

"Where at?"

"It was too a party thrown by some company on a lake front." She said.

"That's good!" Susan said quickly.

"No, no it's not!" Nadine said.

"Why?"

"Because, i'm a hotel maid. Besides, who knows what Brad would do to me if he saw me there with him." Nadine said. She twisted her hands in her apron, growing more and more nervous.

"Honey, first of all, a wonderful man has asked you out. Do you understand that this could be your ticket out of here?" Susuan asked, taking Nadine's hands in hers.

"Well, no." She admitted.

"He could help you. Besides, what would Brad be doing at a fancy party at the lake front?" Susan asked.

"Well, yeah, but-"

"No buts about it. You need this man. Even if it doesn't work out, at least you went and saw for yourself, right?" Susan said.

"Yeah, i guess. But i really blew up at him before i left, i dont' know if-"

"If he likes you, you'll see." Susan said.
