The phone rang a few minutes later, and Taylor walked over to his bedside to pick it up.
"Hello?"
Nadine watched him from across the room. He seemed so nervous to her. Almost sad, she thought.
"Well, yes." He said.
He appeared to be talking to someone from his work, for he got out his schedule book and began to scribble.
"Uh huh." He mumbled.
Gosh, Nadine thought, I'm glad my work isn't that complicated. Everything he does, he must get mobbed.
"Well, Pete, i can't just fine someone at this time of day-"
He was cut off. Nadine, loosing interest in what the conversation was about, got up and walked over to the dresser, where various papers and things were spread out.
"Well, i think i've got an idea."
She stood in front of the mirror, still dressed in the robe that was hanging in the bathroom. He had given it to her after she freaked about not being clothed.
"Yeah....Okay...Bye Pete." he said, dropping the phone down on the hook with a sigh.
"Sounds like fun." She replied.
"No, no, no, not fun." he said, walking over to where she was standing.
"Hm...." She mumbled, looking at his various notes to himself.
"I have a proposition for you, Nadine." He said, casually leaning on the side of the dresser.
