Morgan was sitting on her bed that same Saturday morning, thinking about her sister. She was confused about the entire thing, and she wasn't sure what to do. She knew her sister was still head over heels for Zac, otherwise she wouldn't cry everytime someone said something that reminded her of him. She also knew that her sister was very mad at Zac.

Morgan sighed, torn between doing what was nice and what was right. She just couldn't take it anymore. She saw what Zac went through everday. He would climb in the car every single morning with she and Taylor and be said immediately because Katie wasn't there. The nice thing to do would be to butt out and let the two of them deal with it themeselves. However, common sense told Morgan that that would never happen. Zac was too stupid and Katie was too shy, and vice versa. The right thing to do would be go get the back together- One way or another.

"Always to the right thing." She muttered to herself as she picked up the phone. A few minutes later, Zac jumped on his bike and went straight to her house.

Ten minutes later, she opened the door to find a confused Zac on her doorstep.

"What am I doing here?" He asked, looking around leerily.

"Come inside." She said. She noticed Zac looking around as he stepped into the house.

"I'm home alone, they went out." Morgan said. She led him into the kitchen.

"Do you want anything?" She asked, pouring herself some lemonade.

Zac looked at her skeptically. "No." He said slowly. "Why did you call me over here?" He asked.

"Because." Morgan said, setting her class down on the counter. "I want to talk to you about Katie."

Zac's eyebrows raised. "Katie? She hates me." he said.

"That's just it."

"What's just it?"

"She doesn't hate you."

Zac laughed. "What do you mean she doesn't like me? She won't even look at me. She won't talk to me, and she avoids me completely." He said, his voice raising.

"That's because she still likes you." Morgan said.

Zac looked at her. "I don't believe you."

"Zac..." Morgan began. "Believe me, she does. She cries all the time. She's depressed because of you. She knows that if she talks to you she might find out the truth and that scares her." Morgan said.

"But why is she avoiding me completely? I would talk to her if I thought she would talk to me." He said.

"Because you hurt her." Morgan said quietly.

"Oh, so now you believe all that bullshit?" He asked. "I didn't say anything about her. Why would I do that? Everything was perfect."

Morgan looked at him. "Do you swear you didn't say those things?"

"I swear. I liked her so much, Morgan. I don't want to hurt her. I've never said anything bad about her. I swear." He said quietly.

"Why don't you tell her then?"

Zac sighed and shifted his weight. "Because she won't believe me."

"I think you should at least try."

"But what's the point?" He said, throwing his arms in the air for emphasis. "I tried to tell her that on the phone right before she dumped me, but obviously she didn't buy that one." He said.

"Talk to her again."

"Why should I?" He asked.

"Because she wants you back, and I know you feel the same way." Morgan said.

Zac looked at her for a moment, knowing that what she said was true.

"I do want her back."

"Then tell her."

Zac was silent.

"Zac, she cries all the time. She told me that she wanted to believe you. She mopes all the time. I know she misses you to."

"I miss her too." he said, his eyes on the floor. "I miss her so much."

"She wanted to believe you. She told me. But with everything else...it was hard for her too."

"I can understand that." Zac said. He looked up at Morgan. "Does she talk about me?" He asked, his eyes curious.

Morgan smiled weakly. "Yeah, she does."

"What does she say?" Zac asked.

"She just...well, she'll see something, and she'll say 'Zac would have like that' or, 'I wish I could tell Zac'. You know, just little things."

"So...she really does miss me?"

"Uh huh." Morgan said. "She does...a lot.

"I just....I wish she would at least be friends with me. I'm not asking for us to get back together, I just want her to at least talk to me." He said, his voice cracking.

"I know." Morgan said. "But you hurt her."

"I know that. But she has to believe me, and she won't."

"Well maybe you have to re-build her trust again."

"I don't know if she would trust me again."

"Well at least give her that chance. She likes you too Zac. She's just really really confused."

"I didn't say it." Zac said quietly. "I dont' know what I can say or do to convince her, but I swear I didnt' say it. I don't know where she got it, or even who started the rumors."

Morgan sighed. This was more heart wrenching than she thought it would be. But she knew the truth. Zac was telling the truth.
