Two days later, Saturday, Katie was sitting on her bed, staring around her room. She was just in one of those moods where she didn't feel like dong anything, yet she wanted to do something. She heard the bathroom door open and Morgan poke her head in.

"Hey." She said.

"Hi." Katie said quietly.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Why?" Katie asked. She was in no mood...

Morgan sighed. "I just want to talk to you." She said.

Katie eyed her from across the room. "I guess."

Morgan walked over to her bed and sat down beside her.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Why does everyone keep asking me that?" Katie snapped.

"Sorry." Morgan said quietly, taken back.

She was silent for a few moments, unsure of what to say.

"What did you want to talk about?" She asked, her patience wearing thin.

Morgan looked at her sister. She looked in her eyes and first saw anger. She looked at her longer, and then suddenly she saw what it was; extreme sadness.

"What's wrong Katie bug?" Morgan asked.

Katie looked at her, shocked that her sister had used that name. It was the name that Katie's parents had used with her when she was a little girl, and it was one that Morgan had used for katie for years. Katie stared back at her sister, not knowing what to say. Suddenly the events of the past weeks came flooding back to her, hitting her like a ton of bricks.

She threw her arms around her sister and let her tears flow freely.

"Shhhh...." Morgan murmured. She rocked her little sister back and forth. "It's okay." She said.

"I'm sorry Morgan."

"It's okay."

"It hurts."

Morgan didn't need her sister to explain. She already knew what she was talking about.

"He hurt me."

"I know."

"It hurts so bad." Katie said, pulling away. She wiped her eyes and sniffed.

"I know how it feels." MOrgan said. "It does hurt, doesn't it?"

Katie sniffed and wiped her eyes again. "Yeah. It does hurt."

"I'm sorry."

"So am I." Katie said. "I thought I could trust him."

"I know."

"He hurt me so bad..."

Morgan didn't know what to say.

"I...I didn't know what to do....and now...now I miss him so much." A fresh set of tears started to flow down her cheeks. Her sister got up and grabbed a box of kleenex that was on Katie' nightstand and handed them to her.

"Thanks." Katie said with a sniff.

"How long has it been?"

"Three weeks."

"Ouch."

"What?"

"It can still hurt."

"I know." Katie said. And it did still hurt. A lot.
