After about a minute, Christine fell into a light sleep, and woke up about five minutes later and completely forgot were she was. Michelle never drove this slow unless she had had too much to drink, and she wasn't driving, so who was?

She looked over at the driver's seat, and saw Taylor driving, so she lay back again and closed her eyes. Wait…Taylor!?!?! She whipped her head up, giving her a head rush.

"Oouhhaaluhhhhh!!!!!" She moaned. She immediately put her head back down, but looked over at him.

He looked over at her and gave her a shaky smile.

"Oh you dozed off on me. Maybe you shouldn't do that...um...How is your head?"

Oh kids. That smile. That concern. That overall fact that he cared. She was instantly putty in his hands.

"Oh, it hurts, but I'll live" she managed to spit out.

"That's good. I am really sorry that I knocked you so hard. I was just really tired, and kind of irritated that my roommate canceled our plans to go out to one of his endless parties and come home stoned and drunk. That really sucks after awhile."
"Yeah, really"

"Just for once I'd like to go to a party where the minute I walk into the room, I'm notasked if I want it rolled or in a bowl!"

After she said this she had to rest, for her head was spinning by now.
"Yeah, for once I want to really have fun at a party, not worry about getting smashed or getting a STD."

"I know what you're saying"

" Yeah, well, at least someone does"

"Uh huh"

"Hey, since I'm taking you home, where do you live? In those?" he said, pointing over to her left at a large building, covered in ivy.

Christina slowly sat up and looked out the window of her car.
"Yeah, that's where I live." She said.

"What number?" he asked.

"Twenty three A.

"Oh, my friend lives across the hall! Do you know a guy named David? He's cool." Taylor said.

"Yeah, Michelle already scored a date with him."

"wow, she sure does operate fast!" Taylor said, laughing.
"Boy, does she ever." Christina muttered. She glanced at her watch.

"Oh my gosh! It's already past midnight! Michelle will be wondering where in the hell I've been!"

"Well, at least you have a good excuse"

"Yeah, but I'm supposed to be taking care of her, cause she's sick, or, so she says." Christina said.

"Oh, does she do the faking thing?" he asked.

"Yeah. And the sad part is, I fall for it everytime."

He turned into the parking lot in front of her building. She got out of the car and leaned her head back in to say thanks, but saw him getting out also.

"You don't have to go in! I'm fine."

"Oh, just to make sure."

"Well…okay, but the place is a mess, I have to warn you."
"that's okay, I'm actually quite used to it. My roommate is nothing short of a slob."

"Oh, well, so is mine, er, Michelle."
