aka: Nastassja Nakszynski....born Jan 24, 1961 - Berlin, Germany......The long-estranged daughter of the late film star Klaus Kinski, German actress Nastassja Kinski began her career in her teens. According to most sources, her first film was director Wim Wenders' The Wrong Move (1975), though there is evidence that a German TV movie directed by Wolfgang Petersen, For Your Love Only (1976), was produced first. Still not yet 20, Kinski fell in love with the much-older filmaker Roman Polanski, who subsidized her training as an actress. After taking drama classes in New York and London, Kinski was deemed ready by Polanski to star in Tess (1980), a lavishly produced filmization of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Shortly thereafter Kinski became the dream of male college undergrads everywhere by posing for a Richard Avedon poster wearing nothing save the large live python which spiralled around her body. Kinski's nex few films tended to capitalize on her physical attributes rather than her very real talent; in Cat People (1982), directed by her then-lover Paul Schrader, the actress' character transformed into a panther after having sex; and in Exposed (1982), she participated in one of the goofiest moments of screen erotica in history when costar Rudolf Nureyev "played" her body with a cello bow. Compared to scenes like these, Kinski's appearance as Dudley Moore's wife in Unfaithfully Yours (1983) was downright puritanical -- but it was back to the bizarre with her role as a woman dressed in a bear suit in Hotel New Hampshire (1985). ...earlier films also include: Paris, Texas, Spring Symphony, The Moon in the Gutter , Exposed, One from the Heart, Tess, Cosi come sei, For Your Love Only, Die Braut des Satans, Falsche Bewegung

1974................The Wrong Move
1976..................For Your Love Only.........1977 Germany........... AKA: Tatort - Reifezeugnis............. Director: Wolfgang Petersen............ For Your Love Only offers a glimpse of a young (16 years) and very appealing Nastassja Kinski. Cast as impressionable student Sina, Kinski falls hopelessly in love with her much-older teacher. An extortionist threatens to reveal the girl's indiscretion, driving her to commit murder. It's a testament to the instinctive acting skills of Kinski that the audience continues pulling for her even after she's killed a man. Director Wolfgang Petersen completed For Your Love Only between his more celebrated projects Black and White Like Day and Night (1978) and Das Boot (1981). Originally titled Reifezeugnis...... Sixteen year old pupil Sina Wolf has a love affair with her married Teacher Fichte. Also pupil Michael Harms cannot resist her beauty. One day Michael follows Sina into the forrest, throws her to the ground and begins to kiss her wildly. She stops him doing so taking a big stone, later telling everyone that somebody tried to rape her in the forrest while Michael was helping her. As the police begins to investigate Michael's death they regard teacher Fichte with suspicion. Things screw up for Sina as now Fichte stops dating her and police's questions are beginning to be uncomfortable................AVAILABLE

1977................Boarding School ....... Director André Farwagi...Starring: Nastassja Kinski , Fabiana Udenio...... aka: Deux Heures de Colle pour un Baiser (French title), Leidenschaftliche Blümchen, The Passion Flower Hotel, Preppy School Girls, ...........Strong Sexual Content, Extensive nudity............Originally released in 1977 as Passion Flower Hotel, the German Boarding School offers viewers 16 year old Nastassja Kinski in one of her earliest starring roles. She plays a student in a 1950s Swiss boarding school. Along with the rest of her classmates, the girl has a burning desire to touch base with the handsome scholars at a neighboring boys' school. In order to attract the guys' attention, she devises a series of hoaxes and subterfuges to convince them that she and her friends are high-priced hookers!........ Only reason why this film got released by Atlantic pictures in 1982 isbecause young Kinski was in the film. Other than that, this filmwould've been lost in the drive-in market (I think it played in 1977 as PRETTY SCHOOL GIRLS in some US market in the 70's). It's good to see an early performance from two beautiful actresses Kinski and Udenio (who is in many U.S. films)...............AVAILABLE
