Chichi sighed deeply, trying to stay calm. Goten started to cry : he really didn't want of his puppy costume… Then Goku arrived, eating some candies and smiling.
- Can I help? he asked.
- Mom? suddenly yelled Gohan from the door. Where are the candies?
- In a bowl, beside the door! said Chichi, exasperated.
- Uh… There's a bowl, but it's empty!
- What?!
Chichi looked at Goku, who looked guilty.
- Tell me you didn't eat all the candies, slowly said Chichi.
- I didn't! I gave some before!
- And you ate the rest!
- Well… Yes.
- BAKA!! It was for the children! What do you have in your head?
- Waaaa! I don't want this costume! started crying Goten.
- I know, shut up! Goku, you…
Gohan closed the door, wishing he had a normal family for once. A few seconds later, he heard Chichi beating Goku up and down and left and right, while Goten was still crying… And the bell rang again. The teenager sighted and opened the door : Trunks, dressed as a vampire.
- Eh, human, give me candies, said the little boy with a strange voice.
- We don't have candies anymore, said Gohan. Dad ate it.
Trunks heard Chichi yelling on the stage.
- Sounds like, he whispered. Anyway, is Goten ready?
- Not really, maybe you can help him with his costume…
- Ok! Dad's coming!
Trunks ran to his best friend's bedroom. Gohan looked at the sky and saw something yellow approaching.
- No… he said, starting smiling.
The man landed in front of him. Vegeta, the proud and powerful Prince of Saiya-jins, was wearing fluorescent yellow clothes, very visible and ridiculous, and holding two orange pumpkins. And he looked very embarrassed.
Goku was trying to escape from his wife and ran into Gohan, who was trying to not laugh. He saw Vegeta and, of course, started laughing very loud.
- Vegeta? Is it really you? I can't believe it!
- Shut up, Carot, grumbled Vegeta. Bulma obliged me to dress that way. She said that like Trunks was all in black, I had to be as much visible as possible.
- And you let her do it? Man! You've changed more than I thought! Look at you!
Goku was laughing so loud that Gohan couldn't resist and started laughing too. That's when Chichi arrived behind, still mad at her husband and holding her frying pan…
- Goku! You are going to… Vegeta? Why are you dressing like that? It's ridiculous! Anyway, Goku, I want you to go buy other candies! And if you eat them again, I'll kill you! Is it clear?
- But, Chichi, you said I had to go with Goten and Trunks…
- SHUT UP!!! Vegeta can do it alone! Go buy the candies! And quick!

Goku started flying away, pityfully. Chichi returned to Goten, who was talking with Trunks about a new video game. A few seconds later, Gohan(who was still laughing) and Vegeta(who was still angry) heard the little boy screaming again. Vegeta grumbled something and entered in the house.
Gohan finally stopped laughing and was about to close the door when he saw someone flying quickly toward the house.
- Dad ? Oh… No… Videl !
- Why didn't you come, huh ? You were supposed to take me at 8 o'clock and it's almost 9 ! Did you forget me or what ?
- No, but…
- I know ! You saw another girl, didn't you ? Who is it ? Gohan ! Say something or I'll just kill you ! Come on !
- But, Videl, I can explain ! I was just…
- Just WHAT ? Huh ? I want explanations right now or I don't now what I'll do ! So ?

- That's enough ! I can't stand you anymore ! You're the most stupid guy I know and I don't even remember why I accepted your invitation !

- SHUT UP ! I shouldn't have come here just for you! And dressed like that! I though you were my friend, Gohan! I thought you liked me as Great-Saiya-Man 2, but I guess you were just making fun of me!

- SHUT THE HELL UP! I'm talking! And all that time we passed, repeating the poses! You laughed a lot, didn't you? I was serious with you, Gohan, I…
- But Videl, I was too, I didn't…
- When will you SHUT UP? Grrrr… Can't you just shut your big mouth for a minute? I don't want to see you again! Never talk to me! I don't know what I could do!
Then she left. Gohan looked the sky a long time, totally lost.
- I just forgot… he murmured after a moment.
