introduction poem:

Techgnosis Flip

White corridors!

Long lifeless antiseptic tunnels leading back to where they started from!

White corridors!

Help me I am trapped in a factory!

White corridors pumping out clay people who mold themselves out of eachother in

White corridors!

Artificial light!

Something save me from these

White corridors!

White lab rats

In

White corridors!

Part II

There's a pipe hanging out of the ceiling leaking dripping venom onto plush carpeting

Feel

White corridors!

two

two lovers lie entangled on the floor

one, it's his first time

the other, well he's a whore

both trying to grasp and forget the sorrows

one, he gives it all

the other, he just borrows

two lovers lie broken on the floor

one, it's his first crime

the other, well he's out the door

both trying to grasp and forget the sorrows

one, he's now a whore

the other, well even more

but they will both be back tomorrow

by faZe

(Editor's note — faZe hates to explain his poetry. His stance is that people with eyes for the meanings will see it, & he doesn't feel a need to expound and preach to the already-converted or the non-convertible. So don't tell him I'm telling you the meaning of this poem! Two is about an egoless self and a self with ego struggling for control and eventually coming to the conclusion that a balance must be kept and both sides are necessary.)

Secrets (Tricoo)

Secrets of meditation

Close your eyes

Think about nothing.

Secrets of creative thought

Consider what you know

Think it wrong.

Secrets of Wisdom

Look at a still pond

Think as the frog.

by Roger L. Bagula © 13 June, 1999

(Editor's note — The Tricoo is a poetry style Roger invented that is loosely based on Haiku, but is three sets of three lines that can be taken as sets of three to make poems.)

Party

The flowers were exquisite!

And so was the food;

Charming little hors d'oeuvres, baby asparagus,

An excellent swordfish with sautéed crabs

And desert! Oh, it was divine! They brought in this scrumptious rum cake

—The whole affair was catered, of course—

And the guests were the right sort of people, you know

Although we had to invite a few because they were family

All in all, however, it went off very well.

The casket, I am proud to say, was polished mahogany,

Very expensive — none of that tacky titanium or pine.

The most important thing is, everyone had a good time.
