Daniel and Darren formed Savage Garden in 1993. The 12 months they spent in a home studio writing and recording, brought them justified success their first single 'I Want You' released in 1996 immediately went platinum, and success followed success.

Rumours of an impending split up of Savage Garden, has proved to have been correct, with an official press release, spotted on the SG Fanzine Website today (6/3/02). January saw them persuing different projects, with Daniel moving more into the writing and mixing side of the business, his company Meridian Musik having signed up the Australian band Aneiki. Darren began work on his solo debut album 'SPIN' shortly to be released.
