TWO TIMERS Chapter 5 Sophia's View
"Holy shit, Col! You have Nick right where you want him!" I shouted with excitement, trying to apply eyeliner while holding the phone against my shoulder.
"And where would that be?" she laughed. I could picture her sitting there with a puzzled but amused look on her face.
"Well obviously he likes you, or he wouldn't bother trying to seduce you. I mean, let's face it, all of them have millions of girls who would fuck them in a second. But they want us! Don't you realize how cool that is?"
"How is that cool?"
"Colleen, don't make me come over there and hit you over the head. We're fucking desired by the Backstreet Boys! Two of them want me, and two of them want you. I don't really know what Howie wants…" I thought aloud. Howie would have to be worked on at some other time.
"I was so close to just pushing Nick onto the couch, and jumping right on top of him. He looked so cute yesterday, you have no idea," she sighed, sadly.
"Why do you sound upset when you say that, Col? He likes you! He wants you!"
"Yeah, but I also have a boyfriend, Sophia."
"Since when does that matter?" I asked.
Silence…
"It matters… it matters now," she firmly stated, after a long pause. "Maybe it didn't matter awhile ago, but it's different now. We're getting older, and eventually we'll have to settle down and -"
"Settle down?! Are you crazy?! I'm having way too much fun with Kevin and AJ to settle down with just one of them!"
"What happens if they find out what you're doing?" she questioned. She wasn't going to convince me to stop…
"They won't find out, Col. I'm too good at this game by now, and so are you. So if you wanna mess around with Nick, you should."
"Whenever he's around, or whenever someone mentions his name, I get this strange feeling," she mumbled.
"Desire. It's called desire. Or lust… whichever you prefer."
"I really don't want to hurt Brian."
"He won't get hurt if he doesn't find out, Col."
"But what if he does?"
"He won't. Life is too short to spend your time thinking about other people and their feelings. Live a little," I said, double checking my hair and make-up in the mirror. AJ would be here soon, and I wanted everything to be perfect.
"I guess you're right. And the sexual tension is pretty damn strong…"
"So go for it! Besides… I'm curious as to how good in bed little Nicky is," I giggled.
"Oh, that'll be the first thing I tell you," she replied, dryly.
Ding…
"Col - doorbell. I'll call you later, when AJ leaves… or maybe he'll spend the night," I grinned.
"Alright, have umm… fun, I guess."
"I think I will. And don't worry Col… he'll wear a condom."
"Ok, good. Bye-bye."
"Bye," I said, quickly hanging up the phone and racing to the door.
"Hey doll," AJ smiled, as I moved aside to let him in, "Nice place you got here," he added, taking a look around.
"Oh, thanks. You wanna see the bedroom?"
"You're quick, aren't you?" he asked, raising one of his eyebrows.
"Yep, guess I am. So, wanna see the room or not?" I repeated, getting impatient. He looked so great, and all I wanted was to get him in bed.
"Yeah baby," he shouted, trying desperately to use a British accent - but failing miserably.
"This it?" he asked, pointing to a door.
I nodded my head, as he flew open the door, and jumped onto my bed.
"A little eager, are we?" I laughed. Maybe he wanted this more than me… that would be excellent.
Colleen's View
I had been sitting on the couch for quite awhile, thinking about what I should do about Nick.
"I don't think these strange feelings will ever go away until I sleep with him. Then maybe, if I'm lucky, the crazy feelings will stop. The sexual tension will be evaporated," I thought aloud to myself, "But if I sleep with him once, I might become addicted to him. He's definitely cute enough to become obsessed with."
It was a 50/50 situation. I could either hate him after sleeping with him… or become even more attracted to him. Was I willing to risk that 50% that said I was going to fall for him?
Ring…
The ringing of the phone pulled me out of my thoughts, as always.
"Hello?"
"Hey honey, it's me," came Brian's sweet voice. It always made me smile whenever I heard his voice.
"Hi, what's going on?"
"Kevin and I are still looking for something to get for his mother. We're going to take a ride down to the Mall of Orlando. I'm gonna be home a little later… around 6. Is that ok? I'll bring some pizza home or something."
"Yeah, that sounds good."
"Miss me?"
"Of course," I giggled, "You know I do."
"Good, because I miss you too. Alright, Kevin says to 'cut the corniness', so I have to go. I'll see you later. I love you."
"I… I love you too Brian," I said weakly, hanging up the phone as if I was in a trance.
Why did I just say that? I wasn't sure if I loved him yet. I mean, he's one of the greatest guys I know, and he treats me so well… but am I in love with him? How can I be in love with him, when I'm attracted to another guy?
"So many fucking things to think about," I shouted out in frustration.
I was going to return to the couch, when yet another ringing interrupted me. It wasn't the phone this time though…
I walked over to the door, not bothering to check who it was. I stopped short when I opened the door to see Nick. I felt as though the wind was just knocked out of me. There goes that strange feeling again… desire…
"Hey," he smiled, flashing me his teeth.
"Hi," I choked out, still barely able to catch my breath.
"You ok?"
"Fine."
"You gonna invite me in?" he asked, somewhat amused.
"Oh yeah, sorry." He slowly walked passed me, the scent of his cologne taking over my mind.
"Brian home?"
"No, but -" I began to say, but he cut me off.
"Yes, I know… he'll be back soon. Why are you so afraid of me?"
"I'm not," I lied. I was extremely afraid of him. But not exactly of him, as a person… but of what I wanted to do to him.
He sat himself down on the couch, and switched on the TV.
"Oh, look! Silence Of The Lambs is on. Lets watch it," he said excitedly.
I nodded my head, taking a seat next to him. I made sure our bodies weren't touching…
He gave me a small smile, before giving his full attention to the TV.
If all he wanted to do was watch TV with me… then I guess that was easier for me. But I had a feeling that's not why he came here…
AJ's View
"Oh… my… God," AJ panted, breaking away from me and resting his head against my shoulder.
"Good?" I asked, laughing.
"Very," he replied, running his tongue along my neck.
"Glad to hear it."
He moved his hands along the side of me, trying to cover every inch of my body with his lips.
"I think we should do it again… we can only get better," he whispered, biting on my ear lobe.
"True. But I have to make you promise me something," I said, cupping his chin to bring his eyes level with mine.
"What?"
"I don't think you should tell anyone about us…"
"Why not?" he asked, scrunching up his eyebrows in confusion.
"I just don't think it's a good idea. Please?" I pressed my lips to his, forcefully shoving my tongue into his mouth. I pulled away sharply, leaving him out of breath.
"Yeah… I promise," was all he could manage to say, before he climbed on top of me.
This was too amazing… he was going to keep his mouth shut. This means I can do anything with AJ, and not have to worry about Kevin finding out. And hopefully, if Kevin agreed to keep his mouth shut too, I could do anything with him… and AJ wouldn't have to know. Life is good…
Brian's View
"How about this?" I asked, shoving a beautiful glass vase into Kevin's face. We had been shopping all day, and he still couldn't find a gift for his mother.
"Nah," he nodded his head.
"I will suggest this again: why can't you just give her money? Then she can get whatever she wants."
"No! I want to get her something that requires thought. It's easy enough to just give her a couple hundred bucks in a nice card… but I wanna do something more than that."
"You're impossible Kevin, simply impossible."
"I know, but I can't help it," he shrugged.
We continued walking through the mall, trying to dodge the occasional teenage girls we'd see.
"Lets check the jewelry shop," Kevin said, grabbing me by the arm and dragging me into the store.
"You check over there, and I'll look around here."
I nodded, heading over to the back of the store. They had some really beautiful stuff. My eyes settled on a gorgeous ring, that I knew Colleen would love. It was silver, with little white stones embedded into it.
"Find anything?" Kevin asked, coming back empty-handed.
"Yeah, for Col."
"What?! We're not looking for something to get your girlfriend. Besides… you've only been going out with her for a few months. Don't get her such an expensive ring."
"Nah, I really think I should get this for her, Kev. I love her… I know I do. I think she's the one."
"Yeah right," he laughed.
"Don't laugh, man. I'm serious."
"Really? Well, if you really think that, then get her the ring. Don't let me stop you," he replied.
"Why don't you get something for Sophia? You like her right?"
"Yeah, I do. But she's probably got a boyfriend."
"Nah, she doesn't. I asked Col. But you better hurry up and ask her out, because I heard AJ's got his eyes on her too."
"Seriously? Shit, ok I'm going to call her later then. She gave me her number… that's a good sign, right?"
"Yep, good sign," I said, showing the lady behind the counter the ring I wanted.
"Sir… that ring costs $950," the lady said.
"It's ok, I still want it," I replied. She gave me a look of disbelief.
"She's going to be even more shocked when I pay in cash," I whispered.
"Yeah, I know," he laughed. I left the store happy that I had something to surprise Colleen with, and pissed off that me and Kevin had to continue shopping, because he couldn't find a damn gift for his mom.
