He walked out of the locker room with a smile almost as wide as his face. Anyone who knew him well would instantly know that something had happened, that something was up. Nick just hoped that the smile covered up the fact that his hands were shaking and his heart was racing. As confident as he had seemed only minutes before, he was equally as scared. Scared that he had misinterpreted the stolen glances he'd caught Justin in, misread the lust that he thought had been so clearly etched in the younger man's face. What the deciding factor in carrying through with his plans had been was that look he'd seen in Justin's eyes after the game. Justin had said `Screw you' and his response had immediately been a flirty promise for later. What he hadn't expected was the look of excitement, of anticipation that he saw in Justin's features. It was then he had decided to act on it. See if Justin wanted him as much as he wanted Justin. To finally do something about this fascination he had been living with for the youngest member of their rival group.

"Holy fuck, you did it didn't you?" Nick heard as he stopped to get a coke from the tray of a passing waitress. Turning around he saw the amazed look on Brian's face, his eyes open wide in surprise.

"Did what Rok?" Nick's voice cracked with nervousness and he failed to meet his best friend's eyes. A clear sign of him avoiding the issue.

"You fucked him. You seduced Justin Timberlake in the locker room." Brian's mouth turned up in a huge smile and he patted Nick on the back in congratulations.

Nick laughed, letting out a sigh of relief. "Nah... No one fucked anyone. I just.... Let him know I was interested." Nick gulped down his entire drink, setting down the empty glass on a nearby table.

"And...how did he take it?" Brian asked, nodding his head in the direction of the door which Nick had just entered the room from. Nick turned his head and saw Justin walk into the room, a matching smile displayed on the younger man's face. He instantly blushed and lowered his head, wincing as he heard Brian giggle again.

"He...let's just say he let me know he was interested too."

Justin entered the room and hoped that no one could tell what had just happened in the locker room. As wonderful as it was, and as much as he wanted ...no prayed that it would happen again, he wasn't sure if he wanted everyone to know about it yet. He just wanted to sort out his feelings before informing the world of the latest breaking news. He searched the room not sure of what he was looking for until he found it. He caught Nick across the room talking to Brian, his face a slight shade of red. At that moment Nick's eyes raised and caught Justin's, both men smiling slightly, turning more red and looking down. `He's so beautiful' Justin thought to himself, surprised at his mind's words. He'd never really thought about it until that day, but Nick was truly beautiful. When he smiled, when he frowned and especially when he came into Justin's hand with his name on his lips. That got Justin hard again and he had to fight not to instinctively rub his erection, try and alleviate the tension building. There was nothing he wanted more than to drag Nick back into the locker room and go another round with the blonde, feel Nick's mouth on his skin, his fingers dance on his body.

And suddenly a voice penetrated into Justin's thoughts. It was the speaker over the sound system.

"And now, for your bidding pleasure. It's time to auction off today's basketball game winners. All starting members of the winning team, consisting of Nick Carter and Brian Littrell of the Backstreeet Boys, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Sean William Scott from such movies as Road Trip and American Pie, and Paul Walker from movies such as The Skulls and Joyride, They will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the outlined charities which the men have previously decided. It will be done by silent bidding so ladies and gentlemen, please get out your checkbooks and place your bid on whichever player you'd like. What you will get is a private lunch with them at a restaurant of your choice, and an afternoon to spend with them however you'd like. Within reason of course."

Justin laughed along with everyone else at that addition, the girls in the room had all started to squeal at the thought of spending an afternoon with their favourite star, doing whatever they wanted to.

"And let the bidding begin."

The 5 men being auctioned proceeded to walk around the room, showing off what it was that the bidders were indeed bidding on. Talking to people and schmoozing the crowd. Justin had lost track of Nick until at one point he turned around and felt the taller man behind him. Justin's breath caught in his throat and he felt his skin tingle.

"You bid yet?" Nick whispered into Justin's ear, loving the faint smell of cologne that Justin wore.

Justin coughed slightly, trying to regain his voice. Just the feel of Nick's breath on his neck got him harder than he already was. "Umm... Nah... I haven't bid on anyone." He replied, hoping his voice didn't betray his nervousness.

"Shame... Lunch and a whole afternoon to do whatever you want with one of us... Imagine the possibilities." Nick said, taking a swipe at Justin's neck with his tongue before moving on to the group of girls standing further down the table.

Justin had to hold onto the table for support, afraid that his legs were going to give out on him.

"So? Why'd you lie?" Justin heard a voice behind him say, turning around to see Joey smirking at him. He once again felt his heart begin to race nervously.

"I.. I don't know what you're talking about Joe."

"Sure you don't. Why'd you lie? You told him you hadn't bid on anyone..."

Justin cut Joey off before he could go any further. "I wasn't lying Joey. I haven't bid on anyone... You must be mistaken." Before Joey could question Justin any further, Justin walked away to talk to a few people he hadn't gotten a chance to talk to earlier, passing the time until he could go home and think about the days' events more thoroughly. Finally, it was time to announce the winning bids and put an end to the fund raising for the day.

Nick felt as though he was going to throw up. He looked around the room and wondered who it was that he would have to go on a lunch date with. He saw dozens of teenage girls, as well as their mothers, smiling at him, hopeful that they were the ones that had placed the winning bid for him. Knowing that the money was going to charity made it worth it, but he knew who it was that he had wanted the date to be with. Searching for those blue eyes he longed to get lost in, that mouth to kiss and taste, Nick finally found the person he had been looking for and smiled when Justin smiled back. Both men looking at each other nervously, unsure as to what their stint in the locker room meant in the long run. Wondering if it would happen again, and if so, when. Nick felt his stomach flutter as he saw the master of ceremonies take his place behind the podium, ready to announce the winning bids. All five entertainers looked at one another, the same curious expressions on each face. As he heard the bids on the other four guys his pulse began to race. He wanted more than anything for the man to call out Justin's name when he revealed Nick's `date'. He knew the commotion it would cause but he didn't care. He was tired of these games that both groups were forced to participate in.

"And finally, last but not least, Nick Carter."

Nick swallowed and fought not to show any sign of discomfort. He saw the MC open the envelope and rub his eyes, checking the information again.

"Wow. All I can say is wow."

He looked up and smiled at Nick, beaming and making Nick even more nervous.

"I'm amazed to say that this breaks any record we've had. No other person has raised this much money before in a single bid."

Nick stared at the MC, his nervousness getting the better of him. He shakily ran his fingers through his hair and looked at Brian questioningly, both men shrugging and looking back at the man before the microphone.

"In a winning bid of 2 million dollars, J. Randall has bought herself a date with Nick Carter. Congratulations Ms. Randall."

"Two million dollars?" Nick said out loud, not believing his ears. He looked around the room, trying to figure out who would pay 2 million dollars to have lunch with him. He felt the other men on the stage congratulate him, clapping their hands on his shoulder and gave them an embarrassed smile in return. He never thought that someone would pay that much money to spend time with him and felt guilty that the foremost thought in his mind was that it hadn't been Justin.
