PrologueBrian Littrell relaxed on his giant waterbed. After a few hours of basketball and a soothing, hot shower, it was time to plop himself onto the bed and do nothing. Nick and him had beaten Kevin and AJ easily. The sweet satisfaction of victory. He was a natural winner; succeeding in anything gave him thrills down his spine that tingled to his toes. Soon though, there would be a different event to be triumphant in.
It had been 7 years since cousin Kevin had called him up and invited him to join the Backstreet Boys. Brian bonded quickly to the others, and the 5 were close friends. They had learned just about everything about each other within this period of time. During the long years, Brian had grown a strange attachment to one of the guys, an attraction some might think of as "disgusting." Naturally, Nick had no idea of any of this.
Being a best friend was just about the greatest cover-up anyone could come up with to hide true desires. The desire to fuck the wind out of an ever trusting buddy. Or even better, many trusting buddies. Brian laughed evilly to himself as he thought about the scheme he had been planning for the past few years. It was finally going to be acted upon, and his genuine self would be revealed. Earth knew him as a small-town boy with a charming personality and a darling smile.
Earth was wrong.

Chapter 1
"Hey Nick!"
Nick turned to face his best friend. "Hey Brian!" he smiled amiably. "What's up?"
"I was just wondering if you wanted to see a basketball game with me. Chicago Bulls," Brian added, smiling and holding up a pair of tickets.
A disappointed look forming on his face, Nick shook his head. "I can't. Mom won't let me go on long trips." He frowned. "I hate that."
"Convince her or something."
"I can't do that!"
"Why not?"
"Brian, it's my mother. She's never convinced."
"Come on, Nick, tell her you're visiting a relative."
"She'll find out sooner or later."
"We'll have the other guys cover for us."
"That might not work."
"Nick, I know you want to take this nice long trip away from everything. 5 days in Chicago will help keep your mind off Orlando."
All this persistence was making Nick wary, but hey, best friend or mother? It was the rebellious teenage years. "Fine. Fine! If she ever finds out, I'm dead."
Brian laughed. "Nick, you're twenty years old. Don't you think you should be able to control your own life?"
"Yeah, I guess so. I still feel like I'm sixteen though."
'You won't after tonight,' Brian thought, smiling to himself. 'You'll feel sore. Very sore.'

The 2-day drive to Chicago got them there at 3PM. Brian drove the whole and for that, Nick sulked for half the time, whining about how he never got to drive and how he was always the youngest and the guys wouldn't let him do anything because he wasn't mature enough. "I'm not immature!" he would cry out. Brian rolled his eyes.
They checked into the Sam Houston Motor Lodge, but found a surprise waiting for them.
"We only have one room. A room of one double bed." the concierge stated.
"What?" Nick was incredulous.
"We'll take it," Brian paid and gathered his things.
"What?!"
"I said we'll take it, Nick. It's the only room."
"But not the only hotel."
"Stop being so picky!" Brian was starting to get nervous and agitated. Nick was complaining about everything and making his job very difficult. 'It'll all be worth it later. He'll learn never to argue with me again.'
After getting settled, there was still 2 hours till the game. The boys made plans to explore Chicago the next day, then go home the day after that. Nick was starting to act more normal once he learned that the hotel offered video game rentals. Brian too began to feel more comfortable after they decided to go basketball for a while.
"Let's hit the courts!" Nick yelled happily.
As Nick ran to the parking garage in frenzied excitement, he didn't notice Brian pay the concierge a handsome sum of money for his cooperation.
