*~ Evolution - LA Discoveries - Chapter Four ~*
JC entered his bedroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist to see Justin smiling at him sleepily from the bed. He'd taken a long time in the shower, much longer than he'd intended to, thinking about what had happened last night. What he'd allowed to happen last night. And now he was running late. And that was as good of excuse as any to hurry around the room getting ready, eyes moving everywhere but toward Justin.
A part of him felt guilty, like somehow he'd taken advantage of Justin the night before. Ok, so Justin had initiated it. Hell, he'd done all the work. But JC was the adult and part of him felt like he should have stopped it. And part of him worried that maybe Justin regretted it, woke up this morning wondering what the hell he'd done and how he'd gotten himself into it. And the fact that, when JC as completely honest with himself, he realized he'd enjoyed it, way more than he's sure he should have, wasn't helping either.
He wanted Justin, beyond all reason. He'd finally admitted it to himself that morning in the shower. But just because he'd admitted it didn't mean he was exactly comfortable with that fact. And now here was Justin, still half asleep in his bed, mind probably full of doubts about what had happened the night before. JC was sure if he turned and met Justin's eyes, he'd see those doubts displayed fully across Justin's face. So instead, he busied himself getting dressed and ready for work, eyes purposely avoiding Justin.
Finally slipping his vest over the white button down shirt and grabbing his wallet off the dresser, he moved toward the bedroom door.
"I'll be back later. There's food in the kitchen, help yourself, whatever you want. And I think Dale should be home around noon." His hands played nervously with the buttons on his vest as he talked.
"JC." Justin's voice was quiet, still filled with sleep and JC stopped, hand on the doorframe. "Come here for a second." JC's shoulder fell slightly and he turned, eyes skimming Justin's face, but Justin was looking at the sheets so JC couldn't tell what he was thinking. Walking the three steps to the edge of the bed, he stood, eyes on Justin until Justin's own eyes rose to meet his, a soft smile playing on his lips. Justin's hand came up, latching onto the front of JC's vest and with a slight tug he had JC bent over the bed. Justin's mouth was on his before JC had time to think about what was happening. A soft kiss, just lips upon lips, and then Justin let go, falling back onto the sheets with a content smile on his face. Seems he had no doubts about the night before after all.
"Have a good day," Justin mumbled. JC watched as his eyes closed sleepily, pulling the covers back over his body and snuggling down into the pillow, ready for a couple more hours of sleep. The sudden urge to call off and join Justin back under the covers, their bodies pressed close together, spurred JC into movement. He was out the door and on his way to work before he had time to think too much about that idea or what it all meant.

JC pulled the shiny Mercedes into the private parking lot and shut it off, grabbing the keys before climbing out. As he made his way back to the entrance of the country club he worked as a valet at, he saw Justin leaning against a bench, eyes trained on JC, smile on his face. JC's eyebrows creased in confusion for a moment as he made his way toward Justin.
"Nice ride. What's it feel like to drive one of those things?"
"What are you doing here? How in the hell did you even get here?" JC asked, ignoring Justin's question. Justin smiled and held up a piece of newspaper that had clearly been folded over a couple times.
"Cut the bus schedule out of the paper. Self sufficiency, man. Makes my life run so much smoother. I brought burgers." He held up a bag as proof, shaking it slightly. JC could see the logo on the outside of the bag. In N Out. Greasiest burgers he'd ever had in his life. And he loved them. "You get a lunch soon?" JC smiled and nodded before glancing up toward his post. Cars were getting backed up and his boss had just stepped out the doors.
"Shit, I gotta go. The boss is here. Give me ten minutes to park some of these cars then I can go."
"Ten minutes it is. Any longer than that and I'm eating your food." JC grinned and hurried off toward the entrance, shaking his head. Here he was freaking out about last night, and Justin shows up with burger, like it's the most normal thing in the world. Ok, so if Justin could be completely normal about this, so could JC. As he climbed into another car to go park, he vowed to himself that he'd act as normal as always around Justin. Things didn't have to be awkward between them. Justin seemed to have it under control, so why should he be any different. And as he ran back toward the entrance, he had to remind himself just who the older of the two of them was in this situation, because Justin seemed to be handling it much better than he was. Ten minutes later, he let his coworkers know he was taking his lunch and hurried back to the bench to find Justin still sitting there, watching the crowds walking up and down the sidewalk.
"I love it here. There's just so much to see, like all the time." He shrugged and looked up to JC. "Ready for food?"
"God yes. I'm starving. And I didn't even realize it until you showed up with food. You a mind reader on top of all your other talents now too?" JC grabbed the bag and started leading Justin around the back of the fenced in lawns of the club.
"I just figured if I was hungry, you would be too. That, and I was bored. I can only look through your dresser drawers and closet for interesting porn so many times before I keep seeing the same shit over and over." JC stopped suddenly, causing Justin to run into his back. Justin stumbled backwards but quickly caught his balance and grinned at JC as he turned around, horrified expression his face. "Relax, I'm kidding. Besides, even if you did have porn, it's not like I've never seen it before. You forget I was around people five and six years older than me on a daily basis for two years. And Marc had quite the collection going." JC's mouth opened like he wanted to say something, but he shut it quickly, shook his head, and turned back around to continue leading the way.
JC lead him to a latched gate, punching in the code quickly and swinging it open. Justin stopped just outside the gate, eyes on JC.
"It's cool, Justin. As long as you're with me, you're allowed in here." Justin looked skeptical for a moment, but JC grabbed his arm lightly and pulled him inside the gate, letting it latch closed behind them.
"If I get arrested, I'm so kicking your ass." JC laughed and swung an arm around Justin's shoulders, steering him toward a small area of picnic tables.
"Trust me, J. It's cool." As JC opened the bag and pulled the six cheeseburgers and two orders of fries out of the bag, Justin let his eyes wander over the grounds. From their position, he could see golfers on the horizon, golf carts driving over the fairways, men lining up their shots, caddies lugging golf bags along behind them. JC looked up when he heard Justin sigh. "What?"
"I can't imagine being snobby enough to want to golf somewhere like this."
"It's not always about snobbery. Some of the people that come here are celebrities. They do it for the privacy." JC wrinkled his eyebrows together as he eyed the food in front of him. "Is there a reason you got six cheeseburgers?"
"I'm a growing boy. If you don't eat three, there'll just be more for me. And regardless of why they're here, I still can't imagine playing somewhere so, I don't know, upscale. I'm just use to the old golf course a few blocks from my house that's open to anyone who wants to go there."
"So if you ever got invited to play here, you'd say no?" Justin snorted as he reached for a cheeseburger, unwrapping it and taking a large bite before letting his eyes settle on JC's face again.
"Are you kidding? Like they'd ever want someone like me here. And anyway, I don't think it's something I could feed into, the upper social class that thinks they're better than everyone else." He shook his head as he finished his burger. "Don't ever let me become a snotty little bitch, C. Smack me around a bit if I ever try." JC laughed and tossed his empty wrapper at Justin, watching as it bounced off Justin's forehead.
"You got yourself a deal, Justin."
*****
JC arrived home from work that afternoon and heard Justin's voice immediately as he climbed out of his car. Following the sounds, he found Justin in the pool of the apartment complex playing with two little boys as their mother sat at the edge of the pool with her feet dangling in the water. She smiled as JC stepped up to the edge of the water. He didn't know her well, but he'd seen her around a few times with her sons. He smiled back before letting his eyes land on Justin again. He had one of the boys on his shoulders and as JC watched, Justin took a deep breath and submerged himself below the water's surface, taking the boy with him. They both came up giggling wildly, the grin still spread across Justin's face when he spotted JC.
"Hey!" He swam quickly over to the edge, arms resting on the concrete by JC's feet. "How was work? You should come in, the water's great."
"Let me go get my suit and I'll be right back." Justin nodded happily and turned, swimming back to the two boys still waiting for him. And JC watched for a moment, amazed at how good Justin was with kids, before turning and heading up to his apartment. Dale was digging through the refrigerator when JC stepped through the door.
"We need groceries. Who's turn is it to shop?" Dale asked, emerging and leaning against the open door.
"Tony's." JC sighed. "But he's ditched us for the week. I guess I can pick it up, since last week was your week." JC slipped his shoes off.
"We'll split it, if you do the shopping." Dale said, reaching back in to grab a bottle of water before letting the door finally close. "Take Justin with you. I'm guessing he's quite entertaining in a grocery story." Dale cocked his head to the side for a moment, thinking. "He's probably someone who likes to hop on the end of the cart and insist you push him down the aisles." They grinned at each other before JC's faded into a sigh. "Something wrong?"
"No. Yes. Hell, I don't know. If you ask Justin, I'm sure he'd say not a damn thing is wrong." Dale crossed his arms over his chest and rose an eyebrow, waiting for JC to continue. So JC did, and before he was even aware he'd wanted to share it all with Dale, the entire story, everything that had happened since Justin had arrived came spilling out of his mouth. He told Dale how them sharing a bed had started off so innocently and suddenly turned into anything but innocent last night. And how now Justin wasn't bringing it up, wasn't wanting to talk it to death. He shared how he was feeling about all of it. How he wanted it, but the age thing freaked him out. Dale listened intently as JC rambled, arms failing, hands gesturing wildly. "And so, yeah. I just, don't know." JC ended weakly, eyes dropping to the floor until he heard Dale chuckle softly. JC's eyes flew back up to Dale's to see amusement written across his face. "You find this funny?"
"I find it amusing that Justin knows you better than you know yourself." JC's hands dropped to his side as he regarded Dale curiously.
"What do you mean?"
"He's obviously got you figured out. He knows you want this, as much as he does. But he also knows it's freaking you out. So he's taking things step by step and then letting it go, letting you work through it all on your own until you figure out that this isn't as horrible a situation as you're making it out to be." Dale shook his head. "I gotta hand it to him. Never would have thought that kid was that smart, that cunning."
"So you think this is ok, like there's no problem with it at all?"
"C, you're not some forty year old pervert looking for a good time with a fourteen year old rent boy. You're eighteen and he's one of your best friends. You want him, he wants you. He's obviously ok with the fact that he wants a guy and I know it's not an issue for you. I don't see how doing this is going to hurt anyone." Dale took a step toward the kitchen door, headed toward his bedroom but stopped with a sigh and turned back to JC. "I'm gonna be real honest here. And this may hurt, but it needs to be said. When Tony ended things with you, part of the reason was that he sick of you over thinking and overanalyzing every single detail. Don't do the same with Justin. Don't think so much, just go with what feels right. The kid wants you, so let him have you."
*****
JC turned as Justin entered the bedroom, lingering in the doorway, eyes darting from JC to the bed.
"I'll, um, sleep on the couch if you want me to." JC could see the nervousness for the first time in Justin's eyes. For the first time since he'd arrived in LA, Justin wasn't completely sure of what he was doing. JC smiled softly.
"Do you want to sleep on the couch?"
"No, but if you want me to..."
"Just get in bed, Justin." JC interrupted him before Justin could even finish his sentence and he immediately saw the large grin spread across Justin's face as he moved from the doorway and jumped onto the bed, nervousness gone completely. JC climbed in his side and pulled the covers up over both of them, turning so he was facing Justin, only inches separating them. "Look, about last night."
"I'm sorry, JC. I'm sorry if it's not what you wanted. I never meant to make you freak out."
"It's not that, Justin. It's not that I didn't want it."
"I know," Justin sighed. "It's that I'm only fourteen. I get it." He looked up, meeting JC's eyes. "But this isn't some crush that is gonna go away in a week. So I can wait until I reach an age that you deem acceptable." JC closed his eyes softly, holding them like that for a moment before blinking them back open to focus on Justin's face again.
"I'm going to hell for this, but at least it will be a fun ride." And before Justin had time to comprehend what was happening, JC slid over him, shifting both of them until Justin was on his back with JC resting between his legs. Justin's eyes showed shock but it faded away quickly, a sly smile replacing it, his hand coming up to rest on JC's cheek.
"So you did want it? And this age thing isn't going to freak you out anymore?"
"I can't make that promise," JC said, sighing. "But I'm going to try." He lowered his head, lips meeting Justin's. It was soft, full of promise of things to come. He pulled back quickly, smiling down at Justin. But Justin, apparently, wasn't ready to stop kissing him. His hand found the back of JC's neck, leading his lips back down until they connected again, Justin's tongue lapping softly at JC's lips. And when Justin's mouth opened, allowing JC's tongue to slip inside, he bore down slightly, rubbing against Justin. Justin gasped and pulled back, face flushing with pleasure. JC smiled at him, rubbing his knuckles along Justin's cheekbone as he captured his lips again.
They made out for awhile, lips and tongues licking and stroking. Justin was tentative, his hands staying around JC's back, letting JC make the first move. For all his cocky exterior, it reminded JC that he was, indeed, still just fourteen and brand new at all this. But now that fact made him smile softly down at Justin as they pulled apart for air, liking the fact that he could teach Justin, that Justin could learn from him. Justin looked away, face flushing, and JC could tell that although most of it was from pleasure and lust, some of it was a shy blush.
"Hey." JC called Justin's attention back to him. Bright blue eyes, so open and trusting, looked up to meet JC's own. "Relax. Just go with it, whatever you feel, go with it." Justin nodded lightly, tentatively sliding his hands down JC's back to his hips. JC rocked slowly into Justin, causing him to gasp, his back arching, his eyes squeezing shut, his fingers digging into JC's hips. JC smiled and kissed him gently. "Feel good?" Justin nodded and smiled up at JC before leaning up and licking a long wet strip from his jaw to his just behind his ear. And suddenly, just that quickly the nervousness was gone and JC forgot age completely.
JC let his lips move down Justin's jaw, down across his shoulder, teasing the freckles scattered there with his tongue. His hips shifted, rocking over and over into Justin's, their clothed cocks rubbing together. Justin gasped and moaned, meeting him thrust for thrust, rocking his own body up into JC's as he clung to him, hands gripping JC's hips, legs opening wider, calves coming up to wrap around JC's thighs, pressing them closer together. JC moved faster, pressing down harder into Justin. Justin's face was buried in his shoulder, clinging tightly, panting softly in his ear.
"JC. JC. Soon. I'm gonna. Soon." The words were broken, uncontrolled and JC could do nothing but pull Justin closer, rock faster. Justin's body stiffened as he came, trembling against JC's own body, hips still pressing up to counter JC's own hips rocking down into him, trying to keep up as his body shook with pleasure. The sight of Justin coming, the sounds being panted in JC's ear were enough to help him find his own release, his lips finding Justin's, his eyes squeezing closed as he thrust once more and came harshly.
They collapsed back onto the pillows, Justin still wrapped around him, sweaty body pressed as close as possible to JC. JC laid there for a moment, forehead pressed against Justin's shoulder until he got his breathing under control. Finally pulling back, he looked down, meeting Justin's smiling eyes.
"That was so much better than anything my overactive imagination has ever conjured up." And seeing the smile on Justin's face, hearing it in his voice, dispelled any fear JC had that Justin might regret this. He kissed him gently, shifting off top of Justin so they were curled up next to each other again, pulling Justin close. And in that moment, with Justin's breathing still slightly faster than normal, his heart still beating wildly against JC's own chest, JC had absolutely no problem with the fact that Justin was only fourteen.
