For some reason, all of our "original" recaps were deleted, so for the first 4 episodes, we're using MTV's recaps until I put up mine.

S3E1 Original Air Date: 1.19.02

O-Town begins the new season in style...opening for Britney Spears nationwide! After some intense deliberation, the guys conclude that this is a huge oppurtunity to expand the band's fan base and (according to Trevor) hang with a truly "fine" girl. Rehearsing hours on end, the guys start to feel the pressure of opening night. In the meantime, their nomination for a Radio Music Award (RMA) and huge popularity at the open radio convention boosts the entire band's morale. Too bad they didn't win...oh well. At least they get to meet Britney, and boy, does Trevor blow it. Big time!

S3E2 Original Air Date: 1.26.02

After what the band thought was a good performance, Mike M. (O-Town manager) informs them that their moves are becoming sloppy and need to be tightened up before the Orlando show. At the same time, O-town hosts a promotional contest where they pick one talented contestant who gets to hang with them for an entire week, including rehearsals and VIP tickets to the show. The winner also gets a chance to perform in front of a live audience at the week's end. J.D. wins over the band with his vocal abilities and intensity, and becomes fast friends with all the members during the week.

S3E3 Original Air Date: 2.2.02

Touring can be hard on the body, mind and the prospect of finding some cute girls to hang out with. The O-Town guys get a break from the road and are put up in a mansion in the woods for two days. The guys are prepared to take advantage of their small break to hang with their significant others--or in Trevor's case, to hook up! Ashley provides the girls, but Trevor needs to supply the moves. Unfortunately, farting in the hot tub is not the best way to grab the ladies' attention. However, the band leaves their palace in good spirits, and Trevor still has hope of finding that lucky lady.

S3E4 Original Air Date: 2.9.02

The guys take part in an exciting promotional 'Win-A-Date' contest for a local radio station. There's plenty of girls fighting, girls in bikinis, and let's not forget the whipped cream. Once all is finished, the winners have very particular plans with each member of the band. Find out if things got even more crazy on their actual dates.

S3E5 Original Air Date: 2.16.02

The band is scheduled to appear on and episode of TRL totally devoted to them. Since this is the first time they've been on since their song reached #1 on the countdown, they can't wait to go on. MTV VJ Hilarie Burton hosts the show and the quizzing begins about how well the guys and their moms know each other (Their moms are secretly backstage in the green room). They are each asked a question and then the answer their mom gave is put up against theirs. An hour later with some discouraging Fifel news, italian singing, embarassing photos and videotape, the O-Town moms surprise their boys! Jacob and his mom, Mechele, are the winners with all 3 questions exactly the same. Yay!

S3E6 Original Air Date: 2.23.02

Two fans, Brandy and Thais, are chosen by MTV to spend 3 days with the band, following them to a concert, a photoshoot and everywhere else! MTV gives them "missions" such as "Get the guys to show some skin" or "Get to know Jacob." Early in the morning (7:13 am), the girls knocked on all the guys' doors with a simple "Hi, the fans want to know what you sleep in." Trevor noted that he slept naked while Jacob just said "Do you see the [Do Not Disturb]sign on the door?" lol When the 2 were aked to get the guys to "describe the perfect kiss," they went a little further and asked them to "show" them the perfect kiss. After Trevor kissed the camera, he definitely showed Thais a good kiss, while Ashley put his foot down against it. Trevor claims he's a good kisser, but Mike says "If you don't have the talent, why would you put it out there?" lol

S3E7 Original Air Date: 3.2.02

The band is seriously burnt out from the Britney tour and they need to take a few days off. Ashley meets up with his talent agent, Chuck, who came to see the show and flew with him back to Los Angeles. Trevor invites his dad up to New York for a couple days. His dad grew up in a one-room apartment in the city with 8 other people. Trevor wanted so bad to see the room that he began to pry open the wood covering the doorway, but his dad was afraid they'd get in trouble so they left. Trevor told him how bad he missed everyone and how he just wanted to come home. His dad explained that it's just like being in the service; everyone misses you just as much. He then took him to his old church where he introduced himself as the son of the minister years ago and that he was there with his son, Trevor. Meanwhile, in LA, Ashley goes to audition after audition, to an acting coach, and then finally to a mock performance where he plays Michael, a young guy who is seriously involved with drugs. Unfortunately, the band's schedule does not give room for the time needed to shoot the movie (5 weeks) and Ashley chooses the band over the film.

S3E8 Original Air Date: 3.9.02

The O-Town Movie - Mike & Mike Present "Hamburg With Cheese". The band learns a few words of German to connect with their "Euro-babe" fans, but Ashley get's a bit mixed up and announces that his grandfather "comes from big oranges." That's okay though, the fans love them sooo much the guys had to "escape" from the venue in back of ambulance because the bus was down the street. The next morning in Berlin, they have a real family breakfast at a small cafe (gotta love the orange juice - **clap clap**). Ashley get's left behind in the bathroom because each van thought he was in the other van! Lucky for Ashley that Susan, a fan with a car, offers to take him back to his hotel...after stopping at her friends' houses so they can meet Ashley. He ends up giving them his shirt and pants - they give him other clothes of course. Back at the hotel, the other 4 guys are being chased by fans everywhere and they later gather outside the hotel and chant "O-Town O-Town O-Town.." so loudly that the band get's kicked out of the hotel for disturbing the other guests! It all works out in the end - Ashley is reunited with his band and the group makes is safely out of Berlin.

S3E9 Original Air Date: 3.16.02

After a harsh review of their debut album (the "skin-crawling horror") the band is fiercely intent on getting songs that they have written onto the album. They each tap into their song-writing source that in Trevor's case was a little reluctant. Jacob invites Janie out to give him some inspiration. One of the songs he writes for her, "Meant for You," he shows to Clive Davis ("C. Diddy") who says that the song is an album candidate, but not a single candidate. He is a little disappointed, but Trevor explains that he should be thrilled that it might make it onto their album, that whoever buys the album will hear it, whoever buys a ticket to their show will hear it, and Janie will hear it. Meanwhile, Dan works on "American Game," which he co-wrote with Jacob, Ashley puts the finishing touches on "I Know," and Trevor digs deep to write "I Do," about a man who is ready for marraige, but his girl doesn't want to talk about it.

S3E10 Original Air Date: 3.30.02

Season Finale where the band submits songs they've written to Clive Davis hoping to elude the "sophomore curse" and land their songs on the album. Jacob submits "American Game," Dan submits "Yes or No," Erik submits "Getaway," Ashley submits "By Your Side," which all get a "maybe" from Mr. Davis except "A Girl Like That" by Trevor, Ashley and Dan which get's two thumbs up and is almost guaranteed a spot on the record. I guess we'll find out July 9th ...
