Never Ending Love-Chapter Seven

*1 week Later*
“Come on, Justin!” Kayla said, kissing Justin on the cheek. It was Monday morning, the first day of school for Kayla. Her Christmas vacation had been a blast with Justin, her soon to be step-mom, and the guys. She had grown close to all of them; Lynn included. Kayla couldn’t wait for the wedding. They had already started the preperations. Kayla turned to her Dad and Lynn. She kissed them and took Justin’s hand. She pulled him into the car. Justin backed out of the drive way, and sped off, Kayla waving to Lynn and John out of the window, her hair flying, and her book bag’s front flap flipping.
Kayla stared at all of the freshman boys at the basketball courts, shooting hoops. Justin parked the car and walked out, and opened the door for Kayla. She stepped out, the light breeze immediately catching. She took Justin’s hand. “Please come in with me?” she asked. “Kay, I don’t know, I mean...” Justin trailed off. “C’mon. It’s hard enough you not being there for college, so you have to do this!” she started to pout. Justin smiled. “Okay, okay, for my sis.” He gave in. He took her hand, and they headed into the school doors.
“Justin! Can I have an autograph?” “JUSTIN!!!!!!” “AHHH!!!!!!” “OH MY GOD! YOU’RE...!!” Justin heard tons of high school girls screaming his name. Kayla laughed at Justin. Justin looked down at her, and took a strand of her hair. ”How could you!!!” he asked. “Justin, I didn’t know!” she pleaded. He smiled. “Really?” he asked. “Really Really.” She replied. They headed out into the halls. They reached Kayla’s locker. She spun the lock, and popped her un-needed stuff into the locker. Justin’s head started to get a little dizzy of the fans screaming. He fell onto Kayla’s arm. “Justin?? Justin!” She asked frantically. She quickly grabbed her cell phone and made 2 calls. “Hello, 911? This is a call from Monta Vista High. Yes, a man—Justin Timberlake, just collapsed. Thanks. Bye.” And quickly called home, “Lynn?? Justin just fainted! We’re at school, and I called 911! Okay, I’ll see you here” she said shakily.
Around her, the fans were no longer screaming, but closing in on her, watching Justin and her. She got really angry and shouted, “Okay, MOVE AWAY! We’ve got ambulances coming so the least you can do is move your cars!” she instucted. She sighed with relief when they all moved away, shuffling into the parking lot, speechless.
“Justin, baby? Can you hear me?” Lynn said to her uncouncious son, who was in the Ambulance. Kayla had been forced to go to school. She was feeling really guilty about the whole thing, but Lynn knew that Justin would be okay; he always was. He always blacked out sometimes when he had lots on his mind, plus the fans. Lynn had called Chris, Joey, Lance, and JC, who were all in California at the time. They were already at the hospital. Just then, the ambulance doors swung open, and the ER people carried Justin out on the stretcher.
“Oh God, this is all my fault!” Kayla exclaimed to her friend, Matthew, who was walking with her, along with Becky and Bridgette down the halls of her school. “C’mon Kay, it wasn’t! I mean, it wasn’t expected!” Matt comforted her. “Yeah. I mean if you DID know that fans would’ve been like that, you wouldn’t have brought him!” Becky said. “Right?” she and Bridgette exclaimed in unison. Kayla laughed shortly and buried her head into Matt’s chest. Just then, the warning bell rang. The three girls waved to Matt, and ran to their lockers, changed their books at lightning speed, and headed off to homebase.
