***At The Hotel***
"Man, Brian I didn't think I was gonna live through that ride! I wasn't sure how good of a driver Nikki was but I never thought she would be that bad!." Nick said just loud enough for Nikki to hear.
She lightly punched his arm and said "Nick I am not a bad driver! And plus Brian said I drive better then you!" with a smiling slowly spreading across her face. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. "Mmm, boy you need a shower!" she said smiling at Nick. He smiled back but his beet red face told the whole story. "I'm just kidding Nick!"
***In A.J.'s Room***
"Andi, I am sorry about that whole mess with Kay. I just wanted to surprise you. I didn't know that she was gonna come up here and act like that." A.J. said sorry that everything had gone the way it had.
"Ahh, it's ok! It's not your fault!!" she said kissing his cheek. "Since she was just being dumb herself, then none of this was your fault. If you think about it now it's kind of funny. Her saying she is your fiancée in front of your fiancée." She looked at A.J.'s face and saw how disappointed he was. "Come on A.J. It doesn't matter Hun! I still love you. What if we went clubbing tonight? Would that put you in a better mood?" she said trying her hardest to let him know she wasn't mad about anything.
"Ok, If you come then yeah." He said not totally meaning it.
"Listen, if you don't want to you don't have to. We could stay here and watch TV or rent a movie or go to the movies or anything else. We can do whatever you what to do!" she said wishing she could make him feel better.
"Andi I don't really know what I want to do. One thing I know is I want to be with you and another was that I wanted to surprise you. I just wish it would have worked!"
"I'm sorry Alex! But it doesn't matter. It's still sweet. And I don't know what it looks like. So I'll still be surprised." She said still trying to cheer him up. Now she looked at him again and saw that she hadn't helped at all. "Ok! A.J. Do whatever you please! I am going out and I'll Be back later." She said as she turned and walked toward the door.
"Wait Andi!! Please!" A.J. begged as he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Please stay with me!! I don't want you to leave, stay with me please. We can do what you want." He said pleading with her.
"Good, your in a better mood!" she said smiling.
***In Nikki's Room***
"Nikki, did you see how red Nick's face got after you told him he needed a shower? Girl that was mean! He was hurt!! But it was funny too!" Nina said giggling at the thought of how red Nick's face had turned.
"Well I mean, he was stinky! And sweaty!! I Love him dearly but the boy needed a shower!!" Nikki said trying to sound nice about it. But as she finished saying that Brian walked in the room from the door joining the two rooms. "Hey Brian! Where is Nicky?"
"Nick went to take a shower. You are the one who said he needed one desperately." Brian said joking around with Nikki.
"I didn't say DESPERATELY!!! I just said he was kind of stinky! I didn't even tell him to take one. Just hinted and I see it worked." She said smiling as she saw Nick walk in to the room wearing his baggy faded denim jeans.
"B-Rok have you seen my Dark blue Nike Shirt?" Nick asked looking over at Nikki as he came in the room. She automatically got up and walked over to him.
"Hey Nick!" she said smiling. She was glad to see him even if she had just seen him about an hour ago. She wrapped her arm around his waist.
"Hey Nikki." He said smiling back at her and wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"No probably somewhere in that messy suitcase of yours! And Hey who knows what else you might find in that thing, personally I've never been around when it was clean looking." Brian said joking around with his friend.
"Ha ha Brian. VERY funny! Ok Nikki I gotta go find my shirt. But I'll be back as soon as I find it k?"
"Ok." She said smiling at him. He leaned down and kissed her cheek then left the room.
"So Brian, what all are you doing for the rest of the day?" Nina ask startling both Nikki and Brian who had forgotten she was even in the room.
"Umm, I dunno. Tomorrow is our concert then we are going to California to an Awards show. So I don't know. And Nikki you get the pleasure of sitting next to Nick on the flight over there. He hates flying so Have fun!" Brian said happy that he didn't have to sit next to Nick. He had a fear of heights himself and it wasn't always helpful sitting next to Nick who was afraid to fly.
"G, Thanks Brian! You sure are helpful!" Nikki said nudging his side.
"Ouch! Nina, Nikki is picking on me!" he said in a babyish voice as he walked over to her where she was sitting on the bed and sat next to her.
"Ahh My poor baby!! Nikki don't pick on my baby!!" Nina joked as she wrapped her arms around Brian.
"Yes Nina, I am sorry Brian…" she said, smiling "Brat!" she added quickly and looked at Brian. Suddenly Nick walked back in the room.
"Hey Nick!" Nikki said happy he was back.
"Hey Frack I see you found your shirt. I thought you were talking about the plain blue one that just has the little Nike symbol at the top. I knew where the zip front one was."
"So Nick, What are you doing for the rest of the day?" Nikki asked hoping that maybe she could spend some time with him.
"Umm I dunno but I was thinking maybe I could do something with you. If your not busy." He said smiling at Nikki.
"That could definitely be arranged." She said watching as Nick slowly walked over to her and sat in front of her.
"Hey Brian yall wanna rent some movies and we could all just hang out tonight." He asked looking over at Brian.
"Sounds cool to me, what about you Nina? I'll go if you wanna go?" Brian said looking over at Nina.
"Sure sounds cool." She said smiling at him.
"What about you Ms. Nikki? Would you like that?" Nick said looking straight up at Nikki who in turn was looking straight down at him.
"Sure, Sounds fun. And one more thing, Nick Hun is the floor comfortable?" she said joking with him. Then leaned forward and kissed him while her hair fell down around the sides of her face.
"Yeah it's nice." Nick said sweetly and reached out for Nikki's hand. When he got a hold of her hand he quickly pulled her down on his lap. "See I told you it was comfortable." He said smiling still sweet as can be.
"Nick! You are a lil brat you know that!" she said looking very angry.
"I'm sorry Nikki I was just joking around with you." He said now truly looking sad.
"Ahh, but that's what makes you so adorable Nick! Being a cute brat. I'm a spoiled brat too so brats are officially cool." she said smiling at him.
"Bri! Did you hear that? I am officially cool!! That's because I am special! My girlfriend said I am officially cool! So Ha!" he said trying to tease Brian.
"Oh well I am better than you anyways!" Brian said exuding a cocky confidence.
"Yeah Right! Why don't you step up shorty! Show me what you're made of!" Nick said standing up
"Oh don't start with calling me shorty!" Brian said standing up.
"All hail the king of shortness!" Nick said bowing at Brian's feet.
"You guys stop! You are friends!! Stop fighting!!" Nikki shouted afraid they would start really fighting soon.
"Nikki, calm down babe!" Nick said kissing her cheek.
"Nick we weren't fighting were we?" Brian asked innocently.
"Nope. Nikki we do that all the time, it's just one way to make sure we don't get big heads and think we are prefect gods or something. We slam on each other all the time but it's all in fun. We've gotta knock each other down sometimes! What else do people do for fun anyways? Jeez!" He said acting as it were nothing.
Nikki just rolled her eyes and said " I don't think I'll ever completely understand you two."
