CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE:
Leighanne took a deep breath and looked you straight in the eyes. "******, what I am about to tell you is going to shock and appal you, but I think that you should know." she began. You gave her a blank look. "Ok Leigh! Just tell me straight up." you said, both anxious and nervous from waiting to hear what she had to say. "Well, I am not sure how to say this, so I am just gonna come right out and say it. Nick cheated on you last night with some girl named Kilee. I'm sorry." she replied. Upon hearing that, you stood up and became very angry. "WHAT!? YOU ARE LYING TO ME! WHY WOULD YOU LIE ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT?" you screamed. "What? No *****, I swear to you that I am telling the truth." Leighanne defended. "Yeah, right. I can't believe that you would tell me something like this. I always knew you had it in for me and Nick being together, but to stoop this low, its surprising Leighanne, even for you. I don't ever want to hear you say something like that about Nick again, and as far as our friendship goes, you can take it and shove it because I never want to talk you again!" you hissed. "Wait ******! I am not lying to you. Come on, please don't do this. You have to believe me. I...." Leighanne pleaded, but you cut her off mid-sentence. "Save it for someone who cares!" And with that, you stood up and walked out of the room. Just as you were leaving, Nick was walking in. "Hey baby, I...." he greeted, but you just kept on walking, not even letting him finish. He just stood there for a second, and then looked at Leighanne who had her head down. "Leighanne Littrell, you didn't!?" he questioned in a very loud and harsh tone. Leighanne looked up at him with a tear stained face. "I..."Meanwhile, AJ and Julie had found a nice little closet to get rid of some of their problems in. After the long past few months they had had, it was more than time to let off some steam, and the steam they were letting off was rather good steam too. "I can't believe we are doing this in here." Julie commented shyly. "Well believe it baby, cause we are. I am so horny right now I can't stand it." AJ growled sexily as he began his assault on Julie's neck. She just moaned and thought to herself that AJ was right, because she was just as horny as he was. It had been some time since they had a nice little romp together. As AJ was working on her neck, Julie grabbed his belt buckle and pulled his pants off, finding much to her convenience that AJ was boxerless. She grabbed his already aching and growing member and began to run her hand up and down it, causing AJ to groan. "Oh baby girl, that it!" he moaned as threw her on the floor and managed to rip both her shirt and his off at the same time. Julie just laughed as AJ tore her pants and underwear off of her as well. "Are you ready for the most wonderful sex of your life?" he whipsered in her ear. She giggled again, then replied, "bring it on!" "Oh that I will baby, don't you worry!" AJ said as he slammed into her and he didn't waste any time getting it going either. He began pumping into her faster, and Julie was digging her nails into his back because he was going at it so hard. She moaned from the slight pain she felt due to AJ's size, but also from the feeling of ecstasy that he was giving to her.You had just ran out of the room where you and Leighanne had been talking. Could what she had told you only a few moments ago be true? No, Nick wouldn't do that...he loves you. Then again, it could very well be true. You were so confused and unsure of what you should do or think that you were crying."I had to tell her Nick. I had to." Leighanne answered honestly. "Damn it!" Nick yelled as he turned and ran after you. "******, baby wait! You heard him calling to you and getting closer by the minute, so, not wanting to face him right then, you ran faster. You just weren't ready to deal with him and Leighanne's accusations yet. After all, with losing Kristin and your family to tragic deaths, that was all you could take. If what you had just been told was true, a nervous breakdown seemed almost inevitable. You were crying so hard by this point that you ran and hid in a closet. Once inside, you closed the door and sat down, not even noticing that Julie and AJ were going at it on the floor beside you. "What was that? Julie whispered. "I'm not sure." AJ said. You heard voices and knew that someone what in there with you, but you weren't sure who, so in between your sobs you quietly asked, "who's there?" "******, is that you?" AJ asked, recognizing your voice. "AJ? What are you doing in here?" you questioned, focusing your attention on him and then noticing that Julie underneath him. "Oh, I am so sorry you guys." you said, getting up to walk out. "No, stay. What's up?" AJ replied. "Nothing." you sighed. "Girl, you aren't a very good liar." a still naked Julie said as she moved over to sit beside you. "Yeah, for real." AJ agreed, taking a seat on the other side of you. You had been crying since you left Leighanne, and you felt so confused. Would it help if you talked to your friends about it? "******, sweetie, we are your best friends. Talk to us. Why are you crying?" he asked, still naked as well.CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO:As you sat there with tears streaming down your face, you looked from AJ over to Julie and back again, thinking whether or not you should spill your guts to them. In all reality, it had just hit you all at once and you yourself were not entirely sure if you were ok. Suddenly, you were snapped out of your thoughts by the sound of AJ's voice. "******, are you ok?" he asked. You just shook your head. "Is that a no, or an I'm not sure?" Julie asked, confused. "That is an 'I am so confused that I could explode'. I am not sure what to do or believe right now." you said. "What do you mean?" Julie asked. "Yes, please fill us in as to what's going on here. Maybe we can help. You never know." AJ added with that amazing smile of his in an attempt to cheer you. Now slightly embarrassed, you smiled a little. "What?" AJ and Julie asked at the same time. "Well, it might be a little bit easier to talk if you two had some clothes on." you pointed out. Without another word, the two of them crawled out of the closet blushing and got dressed. When they were finished, they both took a seat on each side of you, and a now full clothed AJ asked, "Can you talk now?" You exhaled slowly. "Yeah. Where should I even begin, and don't say from the beginning AJ! I am not in the mood for jokes." AJ turned and smiled a little. "You know me too well." he said. "Would you just shut up already so the girl can talk?" Julie interjected, and you couldn't help but smile at the two of them arguing, because you and Nick do that sometimes too. "You are both Nick's friend and you've known him longer than me AJ. Do you think Nick would ever cheat on me?" you asked seriously. "No way!" he said, shaking his head. "He loves you way too much to do something like that. As a matter of fact, I am not supposed to say anything about this, but he was going to ask you to marry him on Valentines Day." Taking a deep breath, you said, "Well, now I am not so sure we are going to do anything." "What are you getting at?" Julie asked, becoming a little worried. "Leighanne told me just a few minutes ago that Nick cheated on me last night with some girl named Kilee." you explained. "I'm not sure what to believe, and I am so confused right now. I would hope that Nick would never do that to me, and even if he did, you know what? I think I could forgive him, but I have to hear it straight from him, not someone else. What am I supposed to believe right now? Leighanne or my love for him?" Julie's mouth was hanging open in disbelief. "Have you talked to Nick about this yet?" she asked. You shook your head. "No." "I think that you should do that before you think anything, sweetie." AJ suggested gently. You sat there quietly for a moment thinking, then said, "You're right. Thanks you guys. I feel a little better now." "Anytime." they both said with a smile. "You two can go at it again now if you'd like" you teased, standing up to leave the closet as you heard Nick calling your name. "I've got some stuff to take care of." You opened the door and appeared in front of Nick just as he was walking by. "There you are. I need to talk to you, please?" he said. "Yeah, ok" you agreed hesitantly, and followed him into a room where the two of you could talk through your problems.CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE:"So?" you asked, kind of nervously as you sat there and looked at Nick, waiting for him to say something. "So...ummm...where should we begin?" he replied. "I don't know, but if what Leigh told me is true, I'm not sure what there is to say." you said. When you got no response from him, you asked, "Is it?" Nick looked down. He was so ashamed of himself. Fearing that you already knew his answer, tears began to flow freely down your cheeks as you looked at him, waiting for some kind of response....something. "Nick, I am so confused. Just tell me, is it true or not?" you repeated. Still you got no answer, but you noticed that he too was crying. Sighing loudly, you said, "Well, if you can't be honest with me, then I can't see any future with us together."Hearing that, Nick finally broke his long silence. "****** baby, I love you so much and what I did is so hurtful, I don't know if you will be able to forgive me. I slept with another girl. I am so sorry!" he cried.You didn't reply right away. Instead, you just thought calmly for a moment before telling him, "Nick, I love you too. I am not sure if I can ever fully forgive you for this, but my love for you is too great to just give you up that easily. "So what are you saying?" he asked. A small smile appeared across your lips. "I am saying that I am not mad at you, and I'm glad that you told me the truth. Just promise me that you will NEVER do something like that again, ok?" Nick wiped his eyes and shook his head in agreement. "You got it honey. I love you!" You wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him and he hugged you back. "I love you too.Oh, and one more thing." you said as you wiped the tears from your face. "What?" he asked curiously. "AJ told me that you were going to ask me to marry you. My answer is yes, if the offer is true!" you explained shyly, and Nick just smiled. "Yes, it's true. The ring is in my room. I have got to do this right though." he said as he got down on one knee in front of you. "******, I love you with all my heart and you would make me the happiest man in the world if you would be my wife. Will you marry me?" You began to cry just because it was a beautiful moment, and for a brief second, you looked over Nick's shoulder and over to a corner where you saw Kristin's ghostly figure with a smile on her face. Without saying a word, you smiled back, knowing that her unfinished business was done and that she could finally pass over peacefully. Then you turned your attention back to Nick. "Of course I will marry you!" you answered happily, and you both smiled at each other as Nick picked you up and spun you around. When he finally put you back down, you both shared a deep and meaningful kiss. Right in the middle of your kiss, you were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. You both turned to see Brian standing in the door with Leighanne by his side. She looked sad and he looked like he was pissed. "Hey Rok, Leighanne." Nick greeted, and you did the same, "Hey Bri, hey Leigh," but Brian just glared at you. You knew that he was pissed at you for telling Leighanne off earlier. "Don't you hi me you two timing hoe! You have no right to tell my wife she is not a good friend and I am so beyond pissed off right now at you. She was just trying to help and if you are too ignorant to see that, then you are the one who is not a good friend." he hissed. You just stood there looking at him, tears, once again forming in your eyes, and Nick was the one who was steaming now. "Brian, I am about two seconds from busting you in the mouth. Don't you ever call my fiancee' a hoe. She is a good person." he growled in your defense. You grabbed his hand to calm him down a bit. "Yeah, well the truth hurts, doesn't it?" Brian shot back, and Nicks grip on your hand got tighter. "You do NOT want to go there, man. I am warning you." Nick said as Leighanne just stood there in silence. You couldn't let the two of them fight, especially over you, so you stepped in front of Nick and took control. "Ok, first off, you two need to calm down. Secondly, Leighanne...girl, I am so sorry for calling you a bad friend. I had no right to blow up at you like I did. You were just trying to help. Can you forgive me? Please?" Leighanne smiled at you. "Of course I can. I am sorry too. Friends?" she replied, and you smiled back. "Friends." The two of you hugged and made up, and needless to say, all is well now. Brian and nick made up as well, and you guys all went back to the motel. The next day you checked out and went back to Florida, and once there, you started working on the plans for your wedding.CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR:Two months later, your relationship with Nick was still going great, and the two of you had set a date for your wedding. It was to be March 12, 2003...the perfect day to start a new life together. That is the date of the day when you thought you had lost everything. Your wedding party was to be as follows...
