CHAPTER ONE:
AJ came knocking on the door. "Hello Mrs. Lynn. Is Bree home?" he asked. "Yes Alex, she is in her room. Go on in." came the response. "Thank you" AJ said as he went AJ upstairs, knocking on my door. "Come on in" I yelled. AJ opened the door. "Hi Bree." he smiled. "Hi AJ, what’s up? You look pretty happy" I said, returning his smile. "I am Bree. We did it! We are going on tour!" he yelled excitedly. "Really? Where? When?" I asked hugging him. "I knew you would do it, the question was just when?" "We start in Europe. We will be gone for about 8 months to a year." he replied. "Wow! When do you leave to go on tour?" I asked, not really wanting to know. "Bree, we leave the day after tomorrow" AJ said, the smile on his face slowly fading. "What!!!?" I screamed. "What am I suppose to do without you for a year? My best friend!" I cried with tears falling down my cheeks. "I know Bree. I’m so sorry. I’m going to miss you too, but it’s my break" he explained. "I know AJ. I’m just being silly, I’m sorry. You need to go. We will write and stuff" I agreed, still crying. "Bree look, we have two nights before I have to go. Let,s go out and spend them together" AJ said holding me. "OK. What do you want to do?" I asked. "Let's go to dinner and then dancing at Pleasure Island" he suggested. "Ok, I’ll be ready, what time?" "How about 6:30?" AJ asked. I nodded my head to say that 6:30 was fine with me. AJ kissed the top of my head, then stood up. "Get ready. I’ll be back in a little while" he said as he left my room. As I laid back on my bed crying, my mom walked in. "Sabrina, are you alright? Did you and Alex have a fight?" she asked softly. "No Mom. AJ is leaving in 2 days for Europe. He is going on tour for about a year" I cried. My mom came over and sat down on my bed, taking me in her arms. "Mom, what am I going to do without him?" I sobbed. "I know baby. It will be hard at first, but you will be fine. I promise" she assured me. "Mom, what time is it?" I asked sitting up. "It’s 5:45. Why?" she replied. "I have to get ready. AJ is taking me to Pleasure Island so we can spend some time together before he leaves" I told her. "Well, you better stop crying and get yourself ready then" she smiled. I got up and put on a sundress with spaghetti straps and 2 inch heel sandals. I did my make-up, wanting AJ to see the woman I was becoming and not just his best friend. At 6:30, AJ knocked on the door. I opened it and Alex’s mouth dropped open upon seeing me. "God she is beautiful" AJ thought to himself. "Hey Bree. Are you ready?" AJ asked, trying not to think about how hot he thought I looked. "Yes, I’m ready. Just let me tell my mom we are leaving" I said. I came back to the door where AJ was waiting for me and we walked out to the car, getting in the back seat while his Grandfather drove us to Pleasure Island. We were quiet. the whole ride there. *~AJ’s thoughts~* "Damn it! Why haven’t I noticed before now what a beautiful girl Bree has become in these past 11 years?" *~Sabrina’s thoughts~* "What is wrong with AJ? Maybe I shouldn’t have worn this dress" When we got there, AJ and I got out. We went and had pizza for dinner, then we went to this club to dance for a while. We hardly did any talking at all. Finally I asked "Alex, could we go outside? It’s hot in here" "Sure, lets go" AJ said, taking my hand and leading me outside to a bench where we sat down. "Alex, when are you leaving exactly?" I questioned. "We leave day after tomorrow between 4:30-5:00 in the morning" he answered. "So tomorrow night is our last night together?" I asked as tears started stinging my eyes. "Yes, I’m afraid so Baby Girl. Bree, please don’t cry. We will always stay best friends...I promise" he said. "I can’t help it Jay. You have always been there for me whenever I have needed you for anything. Now you won’t be here and I'll have no way to call you. Plus, you will forget me once you have all those girls screaming after you" I protested. "Sabrina, I will never ever forget you. You will always be in my heart and on my mind till the day I die, I swear!" AJ promised, looking directly in to my eyes. Just then, his mom pulled up to take us home. Once again, we got in the back seat. We were silent all the way home. When we got there, AJ walked me to my door. "Bree, you want to go to the boardwalk tomorrow around 6:30?" he asked, breaking the silence. "Yes, I would love to AJ. I’ll see you then" I smiled. "Ok. Night Bree" AJ said. "Night AJ" I called and I went in the house. The next night, I decided to wear my tight fitting jeans with a yellow tube top. I did my make-up and left my long hair straight down to flow down my back. I was ready. AJ knocked on the door just like he had the night before. I opened the door and walked out. "Hi AJ" "Hi Bree. Did you let your Mom know you were leaving?" AJ asked, not being able to take his eyes off of me. "Yes I did. Are we ready to leave?" I replied. "Yeah, my Grandpa is in the car waiting, lets go" he said. AJ took my hand and we went to the car, getting into the back seat. Yet again, we were silent on the ride there. We got out and started walking around. We walked on the beach, ate hot dogs, cotton candy, and played games. AJ won this big teddy bear. "Here Bree" he said handing the bear to me. "Whenever you feel you need me, just hold this bear and I will be right beside you" "Thank you Jay. I will keep him always" I said as I blinked back my tears. "Lets go sit and wait for my Mom to get here. AJ offered, taking my hand and leading me to a bench. "So, tonight is our last night isn’t it Alex?" I sighed. "I’m afraid so Bree" he said, looking down at the ground. "Man, I won’t even get to see you before you leave" I objected. "I know" AJ said, playing with the hem of his shirt. "Bree, I want you to know you are my best friend and you will always be my Baby Girl" He leaned over and gave me a hug. I was crying uncontrollably at this point. "Please don’t cry. I’ll be back, I promise" AJ pleaded. Just then, Denise pulled up. We got in and we were silent all the way home. When we got there, we walked up to my door. "Bree?" AJ called. "Yeah?" I asked, turning around. "I will miss you" he said while hugging me. "I’ll miss you too Alex!" I said, sobbing through my tears. Going into my apartment I stopped. "AJ?" "Yeah Bree?" he asked. "Good Luck. They will love you. Have a safe tour" I said, forcing a smile. "Thank You I’ll write you" he replied. "You better!" I teased. "Bye AJ" "Bye Bree" he said, and with that, AJ was gone! My Mom and Dad finally got a divorce after years of fighting. Mom and I moved to Maryland with her brother and his family. I never heard from AJ again. My Mom wrote to Denise, giving her our new address and phone number, but so far Mom hasn’t heard from her. When AJ and Denise returned home after almost 2 years, they found out we were gone. Denise opened Moms letter and read it. "Mom, what does Beth say?" AJ asked. "Beth and Tom got a divorce. Beth took Sabrina to Maryland" Denise explained. "What!! Maryland!! How do I get a hold of Bree then?!" AJ yelled. "Here is the phone number at the bottom of the page" Denise said, handing him the paper. AJ took it, picking up the phone and he dialed the number. It rang 4 times when a female voice answered. "Hello?" "Yes, is Sabrina there?" AJ asked. "Yeah hold on. Hey Sabrina, phone! It’s a guy" The girl yelled. "Hey Mike, what’s up?" I said cheerully. "No, this isn’t Mike. Who’s Mike?" AJ asked. "Who is this?" I countered. "I know it’s been a while, but you are still my Baby Girl" AJ said. I was silent for a minute, unable to believe that it was really him. "Bree, are you there?" "AJ, is that really you?" I asked in shock. "Yes, it is really me. Who else calls you Baby Girl? And who is Mike?" AJ questioned. "No one but you calls me that, and Mike is just this guy I have been dating" I said. "What, you are dating now?" AJ asked, the disappointment obvious in his voice. "Yes Jay, I am almost 17. You mean you aren’t dating?"I asked. "Yes, I’m dating but I never thought you would be" he admitted. "Why not? I’m not some ugly slob AJ!" I demanded. "No, I just mean,...well." he started, but trailed off. "Well what?" I asked, a little annoyed. "Well, you were always the kind of girl who was just friends with the guys...not dating them" AJ said. "Yeah well, people change and now I am liked by guys. No more of me liking them and them not even seeing me" you stated matter-of-factly. "I bet you are really pretty. I know you were pretty cute when I left" AJ said with a laugh. "Really? How would you know? You never took the time to look at me" I said with hurt in my voice. "What do you mean? I noticed how beautiful you were the night we went to Pleasure Island. Bree believe me, I noticed. So can we stop fighting and talk please?" he interjected. "I’m sorry AJ. I am just hurt. I never even got a letter from you!" I confessed. "Bree, I sent you letters. They are all sitting here at my house because I didn’t know you had moved" AJ explained. We finally came to a truce, and we talked for like 2 hours. We hung up, promising to stay in touch, but we never did. Mom and Denise wrote all the time. I left to go to UCLA shortly after that. AJ was busy trying to bring BSB to the United States. I stayed up on their fame, but AJ and I didn’t talk. It’s been 6 years now since we last talked. Will I ever see or talk to him again? CHAPTER TWO: I decided to move back to Orlando after my Mother was killed in an automobile accident. I got a job at Universal Studios as a make-up and hair stylist. I tried for months to find AJ but kept running into dead ends, so I finally gave up. I decided to go to the mall on my day off. I went into Hot Topic looking for a new belly ring. I was bent down looking on the bottom shelf and when I stood up I bumped into this guy. "Oh I am sorry" I said, looking this guy in the eyes. A strange feeling came over me like I knew him. "That is quite alright. I don’t mind getting knocked off my feet by such a beautiful lady as yourself" he said,looking at me strangely also. "Well, aren’t we a flirt?" I asked with a smile as I walked away. "Wait! Wait a minute!" He yelled. "Sabrina, is that you?" I stopped dead in my tracks, turning around looking at him. "It is you, my Baby Girl!" AJ yelled. "AJ? Jay is that really you?" I asked excitedly,running to hug him. We embraced in a long tight hug. "My God, do you know how hard it is to find you? I looked for months for you" I said as I looked at him. "Bree, why didn’t you get my Mom's number from your Mom?" AJ asked. "AJ, my Mom was killed 6 months ago in a car crash" you replied sadly. "Oh Bree, I am so sorry. Are you ok?" "Yes, for the most part I guess I am" I told him. "No wonder my Mom hasn’t heard from her" AJ said, looking down. "Alex, it's ok, really. I have my good days and I have my bad days, but I’m ok" I said, trying to reassure him. "Good! I am glad you are. Hey Bree, I really need to run, but are you busy tonight? We could have dinner" he offered. "That sounds great! Jerry had asked me to meet him for dinner but he got called in to work, so I am free" I said happily. "So, who is Jerry?" AJ questioned. "Just this guy from work. We go out together once in a while. I think we have been out maybe 4 times" I said. "Is he someone special?" AJ asked. "No, he is just a friend. I don’t like him that way. He is a little weird" I smiled. AJ looked at me. "Weird like me?" "No Alex, strange weird. I don’t know, but I get a strange vibe when I am around him. I won’t ever be alone around him. In fact, I won’t even ride in the car with him or have him in my apartment. I don’t trust him". "Good. So how about tonight?" AJ asked again. "Yeah I’m game" I agreed. "Great! Give me your numbers and I will pick you up at 6:00". he said. I got an ink pen, and taking his hand I wrote down my phone number and address on his palm. "There, now you won’t lose them" I teased. "I really need to run, but I will see you tonight" AJ apologized. "I’ll be ready" I said as we hugged one more time. AJ looked at me and smiled, then said "I missed you so much". With that, he hurried off. AJ went to meet the other guys to discuss what other songs they were going to add to the second leg of the tour. He walked in just flowing with excitement. "Hey Bone, why are you so happy?" Brian asked. "I just ran into my oldest and dearest friend in the world, and we are going out tonight. It’s been 6 years since we have talked, and we haven’t seen each other since 1993, when we left for Europe" AJ replied very excitedly. "Bone, are you talking about Sabrina?" Howie asked. "Yep, I sure am!" AJ said with a big smile on his face. "Hey, I remember her" Nick said. "She was always so nice to me." "So, how does she look?" Howie asked. "If I remember right, she was pretty cute at the age of 15" "Well, I have only one word to describe her" AJ said, grinning wildly. "What is the word?" Kevin asked. "Hot!!!" AJ said. "She is so Hot!! I will see if she wants to come to your pool party, if you don’t mind Nick!" "Hey bring her. I would love to see her again". "Yeah, me too" Howie said. "Yeah, so would Kevin and I" Brian said. "Yes, we liked her. She was like the little sister we never had" Kevin added. They worked on the songs for a few hours, and at 4:30 AJ said "Well guys, I’m out of here. I’m going to see my lady". "Hey! Hey, wait...come back here!" Kevin yelled. AJ turned around. "What Kevin? I’m in a hurry here" "You said that you two were friends" Kevin said curiously. "Yeah, so?" AJ looked at Kevin confused. "But you just said that you were going to see 'Your Lady'" Kevin pointed out. "So, I can dream can’t I?" AJ said while walking away. "Well guys, here we go again. First it was Amanda, now it’s Sabrina" Kevin said as he rolled his eyes. Everyone just sighed. AJ rushed home. He showered, then dressed in black jeans, a yellow wife beater, black cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. I left the mall with more then what I went there for. I bought an outfit to wear for the evening. When I got home, I jumped in the shower. I got dressed in my new black leather hip huggers that laced up both hips with flair bottoms, and a tight yellow belly top. I did my make-up, and then my hair, pulling the sides up in butterfly clips and leaving the back long, remembering how much AJ loves long hair. Looking in the mirror one last time, I was happy. I sat down on the couch holding Teddy, the bear that AJ gave me 6 years ago. The doorbell rang, 6:00 on the dot. Getting up and opening the door, I gasped when I saw just how fine he looked. "Wow! Baby you look fine...I mean really Hot!" AJ said, looking me up and down, as he pulled me into a hug. I was holding Teddy in my arm, so when AJ hugged me, Teddy was between us. AJ backed up. "What do you have there?" AJ asked, pointing to the bear. I held up Teddy. "Do you remember this?" I asked. AJ took it from me looking at it. "Oh my. Is this the bear I won for you at the boardwalk?" "Yep, it sure is. Teddy, he goes everywhere with me. I even took him to U.C.L.A. with me" you admitted. "So, is Teddy going to dinner with us or is he staying home?" AJ laughed. "No, he is staying here. He already ate" I said, laughing with AJ. "Good. I was hoping to be alone with you, so kiss Teddy goodbye and lets go" AJ said, holding Teddy up for me to kiss him. I kissed Teddy, sat him on the couch and we left. We walked out hand in hand to his car. "Wow Jay, nice ride" I exclaimed, admiring his car. "Thanks" he said with a smile. "Where is Grandpa?" I asked jokingly. AJ closed my door and walked around, getting in on his side. "Grandpa is at home, why?" AJ Asked, confused. "Well, the last time we went out, Grandpa drove us. I was expecting him to be waiting to drive us" I said grinning at him. Laughing, AJ said. "I’m a big boy now. They gave me a license so I can steer this thing all by myself" AJ started the car, then sat there looking out the window. "Alex, is something wrong?" I asked, concerned. CHAPTER THREE: AJ looked over at me. "Nope, just a change in plans" he said. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Can’t say. It’s a surprise" he replied. "Alexander James, you know I hate surprises" I protested. "I know. That is why I’m not telling you" he laughed. "You are so mean Alex" I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "Yeah, but you still love me" AJ snickered. "So you think!" I said with a pouty face. "Oh no you don’t! Stop with that face, we’re almost there" he said. "Really?" I asked as I turned to look out the window. "Alex, we’re going to the boardwalk?" I yelled excitedly. "Yeah, if you want to" AJ said. "Yes, of course I do. I haven’t been here since you and I were here 6 years ago" I confessed. "This is where we spent our last night together. I haven’t been here since then either. I just never wanted to come here or bring anyone here because of our memories of being here" AJ said, smiling over at me. Walking along the boardwalk, AJ said, "Bree, have a seat. I’ll be right back". I sat looking around at everything and how little it had changed in 6 years, when AJ walked up with hot dogs, sodas, and cotton candy. "AJ, this is what we had to eat the last time we were here" I pointed out. "Yeah, and I remember every detail of that night. All you wanted to do was cry, but tonight there is no sadness. Just the excitement of being together again, so I figured since this was the last place we were together before I left, then this should be the first place we should be at to start over, doing just what we did back then" AJ explained, gently rubbing the top of my hand. We walked along the beach talking, then we played some games. AJ played this one game he was really good at. "Here you go Bree. I thought about Teddy home all alone and I think it is time that he has a companion. This is Betty Bear" he laughed, handing the bear to me. "Thank you AJ! Teddy will be so happy" I said as I gave AJ a hug. "Hey, you want to go to our secret place?" AJ asked. "Sure if you do" I answered with excitement. "Well, what are we waiting for then, lets go!" he said, grabbing my hand and heading for his car. We got in and headed down the road. "Has it changed any since the last time we were here?" I asked. "Not to much. I come here every so often when I’m upset, lonely, or when I need to make a big decision and want peace and serenity" AJ replied. "I can’t wait to get there. It is so beautiful and you are right, it is peaceful. How many people know about this place now?" I asked. "No one but you and I" AJ smiled, looking at me. "Are you serious?" I asked in surprise. "Yes. I have never told anyone about it or brought anyone here. Speaking of here though, here we are" he said. AJ came around to my side, opening my door and helping me out of the car. I stepped out and AJ took me in his arms. "Sabrina, I have missed you so much. I really didn’t realize just how much until I saw you" he told me as we walked down the beach, hand in hand. "Jay, there it is! Come on" I squealed as I pulled him along while I ran to our special place. I climbed up on the rock with AJ right behind me. Once at the top, I just stood there. AJ came up behind me, putting his arms around my waist. I put my hands on his arms, enjoying the view and the feeling of being in his arms. "It is so beautiful up here" I said, looking out over the ocean. "Would it be ok if we just sat here for a while Alex?" "Sure Baby. That is what we came here for, not just to turn around an leave" he replied softly. I sat down and AJ sat behind me so I was sitting between his legs. He then wrapped his arms around my waist and I leaned back against his chest. Neither one of us spoke as we sat looking out over the ocean and up at the sky filled with billions of stars. Sitting there I said my silent prayer. "Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in thanks for bringing Alex and I back together. You know he is and always has been the love of my life. You know I am in love with Alex and always have been. Maybe some day you will see for us to confess our love for one another and be happy. Please take care of my Mother who is up there with you. Love in Him, Amen" Although I didn't know it at the time, AJ was also praying. "My Dear Lord Above, thank you so much for bringing Sabrina back here to Orlando and to me where she belongs. Even if she don’t realize it yet, we were meant to be together. Ever since we were little, I have known that Sabrina was my soul mate and one day we will be married and have a family together. I’m asking for your help to help us both to reveal our love to each other. In Your Name I pray. Amen" "I love it here so much Alex. I would like to stay here forever" I sighed. "I wouldn’t mind that as long as I could be here with you" AJ said, tightening his arms around me. I could feel the love coming from AJ, but was afraid I was making more out of it then there really was. We sat and talked for hours before I finally said "AJ, It’s 2:30am. We should get going". "Ok Baby Girl" he said, helping me up and putting his arm around my waist as we walked back to the car. At the car, he opened my door, but before I got in he pulled me in for a tight hug, snuggling his face into my neck. I swore I heard him whisper “Bree, I love you”, but I couldn’t say for sure if he did or if it was just wishful thinking on my part. AJ drove me home, holding my hand all the way there with our fingers intertwined. I wish I knew what all this meant. When we got to my house, I asked "AJ, you want to come in?" "Oh shit, I almost forgot! Nick is having a pool party tomorrow. Would you like to go with me?" he asked. "Yeah, sure! I’d love to go" I agreed. "Good. How about you get your things and stay at my place tonight, then we can leave from there in the morning" AJ offered. "Ok great! Come on in while I get my things" I said. "Have a seat I won’t be long" "Hey Baby, you have a lot of messages" he called to me as I walked up the steps to my bedroomo to get my things together. "Will you press play for me please?" I asked, and AJ did just that. You have 15 messages it said and they started to play. "Sabrina, where are you? It’s getting late and you should be home. Call me" (next message) "Sabrina, you better not be out with another man or I’ll kick his ass and yours" (next message) "Sabrina, it is now 2:30 in the morning. I know now that you are out fucking around but you won’t give me the time of day. You’re a cock teaser, you bitch!" "Bree, who in the hell is this guy?" AJ demanded, a little disturbed by what he had just heard. "That is the guy from work that I told you about" you explained. "Why is he acting like this if you are only friends?" he asked. "I don’t know. I told you he was a nut case. I only made friends with him because no one else at work would even be nice to him. I guess he mistook kindness for something else" I shrugged as I continued packing. "Well, he better knock his shit off or he will be the one getting his ass kicked" AJ said, visibly upset about the messages. "Come on Baby Girl, lets go home" AJ took my hand and started for the door when I said "wait Alex, I forgot something" and I walked over to the couch. "I have to bring Teddy! He has to meet Betty" I smiled. AJ grabbed my bag and taking my hand, we walked out to the car and left. When we pulled into his driveway, all I could say was "Wow! Nice house!" "Thanks. Come on, I’ll give you the grand tour" he replied as he led the way from room to room, first down stairs, then upstairs. The first room he showed me was his bedroom. I placed my bag on his huge king size bed. Then we went to each and every room, ending with his favorite room, The Theater. "Alex, would it be alright if I got ready for bed? I’m getting really tired" I asked shyly. "Sure Baby. Where is your bag?" he replied. "In your room. Would it be ok if I changed in there?" I answered. "Sure. I’ll wait here" he said. "I’ll be right back" I told him as I went into his room, found my baby doll pajamas, and changed. I hung my clothes up in his closet. Then, sitting on the bed trying to get the energy to go back with AJ, I laid back on his pillows inhaling the smell of his cologne. Before I knew it, I fell fast asleep. AJ sat there wondering "What’s taking her so long?" He sat there a few more minutes longer then got up to find me. He slowly opened his bedroom door, and looking in, he saw me fast asleep in his bed. AJ smiled and thought to himself "well, I guess she was tired". After lifting the blankets to cover me up, AJ got a pillow to go sleep on the couch, then stopping he thought "why should I sleep on the couch? We used to sleep together when we were kids. To hell with it!" AJ put the pillow back on the bed, then, undressing down to his boxers, he crawled into bed beside me. I felt someone getting into bed with me, and forgetting where I was at first, I turned over to see who it was. When I saw that it was AJ, I felt at ease. "I’m sorry Alex. I was going to lay here for a minute and I guess I fell asleep" I apologized. He looked at me, then said "I tried not to wake you. I’m sorry". "It’s alright. Where should I sleep?" I asked, starting to get up. "What is wrong with where you are?" AJ questioned. "Nothing. I just wasn’t sure if you wanted me in here" I said. "Hey Baby Girl, come here" AJ said in that low, sexy voice of his, opening his arms for me to cuddle up into. I moved into his arms, laying my head on his chest with my arm around his stomach. AJ was rubbing my arm and side. "You know Bree, this feels so right with you here in my arms" he whispered softly. "I know it does Alex" I replied. AJ put both his arms around me and became very quiet, just laying there. "AJ, are you alright?" I asked. "Yeah, I just have some things on my mind, that’s all" he sighed. "Would you like to talk about it with me?" I offered. AJ laid there not saying a word, then finally he said "yeah Bree, we need to talk" "Are you upset with me?" I asked nervously. "No Baby, I’m not" AJ said, holding me close. "You just sound so serious" I said. "Yes, I am serious....." CHAPTER FOUR: "Sabrina, I missed you so much. I never realized how much until I saw you again at the mall. We were so close once and I know we’ve changed over the years, but I know how I feel right now, so I was wondering, or rather hoping that, well if...." AJ trailed off. "AJ, are you nervous?" I asked, a small smile forming on my face. "Yes, as a matter of fact I am" he admitted, looking down at the floor. "Don’t be. Just say what ever it is that you are trying to say so badly" I said reassuringly. Grinning, AJ looked at me. "Ok, here goes nothing. Sabrina, when I saw you at the mall I knew that I never wanted to loose you again. I want you in my life always, so is it possible that we could start our friendship along with you being my lady also? And oh yeah, Bree? I want you to know that I have noticed that you have grown into a very beautiful woman. Now I know why the guys are attracted to you" he smiled. "So, how about it Baby Girl? Is there a chance?" "Well...I am sure that could be arranged" I teased. "AJ, I have always cared about you and being apart didn’t make me ever stop. I would love to be your girl" I confessed happily. AJ pulled me closer, kissing my forehead. Then, looking at the clock and noticing that it was 4:30am, AJ said "We better get some sleep Baby. We have to leave at 11:30 to go to Nick’s party". "I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again" I said as AJ leaned over and tenderly kissed me". "Goodnight Baby Girl" he said. "Goodnight Jay". I snuggled up close to AJ and we both fell into a deep sleep. A few hours later, we were woke up by the phone ringing. AJ reached over and grabbed it. "Speak to me!" "Hey Bone, wake up! It’s me, Nick" came the cheerful voice through the receiver. "Hey Bro. What time is it?" AJ asked, still half asleep. "It’s 11:00. Time to get up" Nick told him. "Oh shit! Ok, I'm up" AJ sighed. "Is Sabrina coming with you?" Nick asked. "Yeah, she is, so we will be over in about an hour, ok?" AJ replied. "Ok Bone, see you when you get here" Nick said as they both hung up. AJ pulled me close to him, then softly whispered "Good morning my beautiful lady" "Good morning Babe" I responded with a smile. "We better get up and get ready to go" AJ said. "I guess so, but I would really like to just stay in bed all day" I said lazily. "I know baby. I would like to stay here in bed with you all day too, but there are four guys who are waiting to see you again. It’s been 6 years since they have seen you afterall." AJ reminded me. "I know. You’re right. Come on, lets get up" I said, starting to get up, when AJ pulled me back down and kissed me. The kiss was deep and meaningful, AJ taking his tongue and parting my lips so our tongues could explore each others mouths. After a few moments, we pulled apart and looked into each others eyes. "I’ve wanted to do that since yesterday at the mall" AJ said. "So what took you so long?" I asked playfully. I guess I was scared of what you would do, but I’ll never be afraid again" AJ answered as he kissed me again. "Alex, we better get up or we won’t ever leave and everyone will be upset with us" I pointed out breathlessly. "Yeah, you’re right. Come on" AJ agreed reluctantly, helping me up. I found my bathing suit and a pair of jean shorts, then went into the bathroom to change, do my hair, and make up. When I was done AJ said "Come on baby, lets go before the guys hunt us down and strangle us" Taking my hand, he led the way to the car, and getting in, we left. "Who all will be there?" I asked as we drove along. "I think it is just the guys and their ladies" AJ said. We listened to the radio, we sang, and we talked all the way to Nick’s house. Pulling into the driveway, AJ helped me out of the car, then, putting his arm around my waist, he led me to the house. He rang the doorbell and Nick opened the door. "Hey Bone! Nice of you to come. Don’t tell me that this is Sabrina?" Nick greeted happily. "Yes Nicky, it’s me" I said with a smile. "Oh My God!" Nick exclaimed, hugging me. "Hey Frack, how about we come in and then you can hug on my lady all you want" AJ teased while laughing. "I’m sorry! Come on in, we are all out by the pool" Nick apologized. As we walked out by the pool, everyone yelled as they came up to me giving me a hug. "Hey Sabrina, this is my wife Leighanne" Brian said, introducing us. "Sabrina, you remember Kristin don’t you?" Kevin asked. "I sure do! How have you been?" I replied, smiling at her. "Pretty good. It’s so nice to see you again" Kristin said as she hugged me. We all sat around talking for a while, and finally the guys started the grill, leaving the girls and I to talk amongst ourselves. "So Sabrina, I hear you ran into Bone at the mall?" Leighanne asked. "Yes, we bumped into each other in Hot Topic" I told her. "You two have known each other along time I hear" Leighanne said. "Yep, since we were 4" I smiled. "Do you think you and Bone will get together this time?" Kristin asked. "I think you better ask AJ that question" I replied. Just then, the guys came over to where we were sitting and Kevin put his arms around Kristin’s shoulders. "Are you ready to eat before Nick eats everything?" he asked her. "Yes, I am hungry!" she said as he jumped up. Brian knelt by Leighanne. "Come on Babe, lets eat!" he coaxed as she got up. AJ sat on my lap, putting his arms around my neck. "Hey baby girl. Let's eat. I’m starving since we didn’t have time to eat before we left" he said. "Ok, but get your butt off of me before you crush me" I laughed. Everyone looked at us confused as we got up and went to the table. When everyone started eating, Kevin finally spoke up. "Ok Bone, I can’t take any more. What was meant by not getting up in time to eat?" "What!? We didn’t get up in time to eat before we left, what is there to explain?" AJ shrugged. "Sabrina, did you stay with Bonehead here last night?" Kevin asked. "Yes I did, why? What is wrong with that?" I protested. "Where did you sleep?" Brian asked. "Geez!! Aren’t we asking some personal questions now?" I replied, a little annoyed by the intrusive nature of their questioning. "Sabrina is right Brian! That is personal, and none of your business" Leighanne scolded him. "Sabrina, what the guys are trying to ask is, what is going on between you two?" Kristin explained. I looked at AJ and he looked at me. "I’m going to let Alex answer that question" I said. AJ looked at them, then said "Ok you bunch of nosey people, I have to admit that when I saw Sabrina in the mall, I realized that all these years of dating different girls and it never working out was because I needed Sabrina in order to really be happy. Now that she is back, I have decided to make sure she knows that I want her, so I asked her to be my lady, and she accepted". "Damn! Why didn’t you just say you and Bree hooked up? No, instead we have to hear this long ass story" Nick complained. "Besides, we all knew you two were crazy about each other" Howie said, grinning. "If that is the case, then why did you all make me and Bree answer all your dumb questions?" AJ shot back. "Because we wanted to make sure you two finally admitted it to each other" Kevin said. AJ leaned over and kissed me. "Ok, I am totally crazy about this woman" he laughed. "Finally!!!" Everyone said at the same time. We were all having a good time and finally around midnight, AJ whispered "are you ready to head for home? I would like to spend some time alone with you" "Yeah, I was ready 2 hours ago" I admitted with a smile. "Ok, then act like you are falling asleep and in 5 minutes I’ll tell them I need to get you home" he said. Five minutes later, I was really sleeping against AJ’s chest. "Hey Bree, Honey wake up" AJ said. "I’m sorry. I was just so comfortable that I fell asleep" you apologized. "You did that last night too" AJ laughed. "Hey guys, I better get her home. She is falling asleep here". Everyone said goodnight and we left. Driving home, we started talking about when AJ left for Europe. "God Sabrina, I missed you so much. I couldn’t wait to get back to see you, then when I do get back, I find you gone...moved to Maryland! I was going nuts until I got your number and called you, then you answered the phone with some guys name. I was heart broken" AJ said. "Alex, you were seeing other girls too" I countered. "I know I was, but they didn’t mean anything to me like you did" he sighed. "The same goes for me. Those guys were just friends to me, not lovers. I never made love to any of them" I confessed quietly. "What?! You are joking right?" AJ asked. "No, I’m not joking! I could never bring myself to do that with anyone. They weren’t you!" I replied shyly. "What?" AJ repeated, surprised by what he was hearing. I lowered my head and continued. "I always knew that you were the one I wanted to be my first. Damn it Alexander, I am in love with you! I always have been!" AJ stopped the car. I looked up and asked "why are we here?". "Because in a very strange way, we are confessing our love for each other and what better place for us to be than here at our place" AJ explained. He got out of the car and came around to my side, helping me out. We walked hand in hand to our beautiful spot and then we sat down in the same position we did the night before. "Now Sabrina, I listened to you talk all the way here, so now it is my turn to talk and your turn to listen, agree?" he started. I looked up into his smiling face, seeing that he was saying this with love in his eyes. I smiled and said "I agree". "Sabrina, we both have said that we are in love with each other, and that is why our other relationships never worked out and why we were brought back together. The truth is that I am so in love with you that I can never lose you again, so with everything that we have said tonight, I have no other alternative but to ask you this one question. "Sabrina, will you..... CHAPTER FIVE: "Alex, will I what?" I questioned. "Sabrina, will you move in with me?" he asked. "Are you sure you want this?" I replied nervously. "Of course I am or I wouldn’t have asked you" he smiled, anxiously awaiting my answer. "If you are sure, then yes, I will move in with you" I agreed. "Now, I have a question for you" "Ok,shoot! Ask me anything" AJ replied. "Am I moving in with you, or am I living with you?" I asked. "Is there a difference?" AJ asked, confused. "Yes, there is a huge difference. Moving in with you is having my own room, basically like a room mate. Living with you means we are together, sleeping in the same bed...you know what I mean" I explained. Well,....let me think about that one for a minute" AJ said with a grin. "Of course you will be LIVING with me, you silly woman!" he exclaimed, pulling me into a tight hug. We sat there in each others arms, enjoying the quiet and just being with one another. Finally, AJ broke the silence between us. "Baby, am I really the reason that you are still a virgin?" I cuddled closer in his arms and explained. "Yes, I wanted you to be my first. I knew with me loving you that it would be special for me and that you would be gentle with me, even if you weren’t in love with me" "You mean, you wanted me to be your first even if I didn’t love you?" he asked, surprised. "Yes. I knew that you cared about me even if you didn’t love me. I also knew that it would always be special for me because I would lose my virginity to the guy I was in love with. Why is it so hard for you to believe that?" I replied. "Well, as AJ "the Backstreet Boy“, I know there are a lot of fans out there that would go to bed with me, but you knew me when I was a nobody" he started. "Wait one minute Alex! You were never a nobody. You were always a somebody to me. You were, and still are the same guy I grew up with and fell in love with, and you are the only man I want to make love with" I protested. I felt AJ looking down at me, so I looked up into his sexy deep brown eyes, with those beautiful long lashes. AJ leaned me back in his arms and passionately kissed me. Our passion for each other took over and for the first time, I gave myself to the man I was in love with and he is in love with me too! We laid there out of breath, holding each other. "Baby?" AJ whispered. "Yeah?" "Are you all right?" he asked with concern. "Yes, I’m fine" I replied. "Are you having any regrets?" he asked, looking into my eyes. "No Alex, I have no regrets at all. I have waited a lot of years for you, and now my dreams have become a reality" I assured him. "Sabrina Marie Lynn, I love you!" AJ said sincerely. "Alexander James McLean, I love you too!" I smiled. We laid there just holding each other, not speaking but yet knowing what each other was thinking and feeling. "Alex, the sun is starting to rise" I stated as I happened to look up at the sky. "Oh damn! We better get dressed" AJ said, kissing me again. As we got dressed, we cuddled up to each other and watched the sunrise over the ocean, it being just as romantic as watching the sunset over the ocean. Then, we walked back to the car. "AJ, what time is it?" I asked. "6:00am, why?" he replied as he looked at his watch. "Damn!! I’m suppose to be to work at 8:00" you sighed. "Baby, please don’t go back there. That crazy fucker is there. Why don't you quit that job? I’m afraid he will hurt you and then I will have to hurt him" AJ protested. "Alex, I need to work" you laughed. "Fine! I will see if you can be our hair and makeup stylist when our tour starts again since you will be coming with me anyway" he offered. "Why would I be going on tour?" you asked in confusion. "Because I will not be away from you all that time. You will be with me when we leave, so will you please quit?" AJ pleaded. "Ok. How about we go to my place and get some of my things to take to your house and I will call from there" I suggested. "Alright, but first of all, it is OUR house now. We just have to get all of your things moved in" AJ corrected, kissing me. We got to my apartment and I started packing the things I would need right away. "Hey Baby, you got more messages on your machine" AJ called as he waited for me. "I don’t even care to hear them. Just delete them please" I said. AJ did as I asked him. We were up in the bedroom, bringing my things out when the doorbell rang. "Sabrina, do you want me to answer that?" AJ asked. "If you would please" I answered. When AJ opened the door, there was a man about Brian’s size, just a little heavier, standing on the other side. "Can I help you?" AJ asked. "Is Sabrina here?" the guy responded. "She is packing right now, who may I say is asking?" AJ questioned, sounding rather unfriendly. "Tell her it's Jerry" The man replied. "Oh, Jerry is it? Come on in. I will go get her. Bree Baby, Jerry is here" AJ said, walking into the bedroom. I looked up in surprise. "Are you serious?" "Yes Baby, I am very serious" he nodded. "Please don’t leave me alone with him! Please come with me" I begged as I stood up. "Honey, I have no intentions of letting you alone with him" AJ pointed out as he put his arm around me and walked into the living room with me. "Jerry, what are you doing here?" I asked impatiently. "I came to talk to you" he said. "What makes you think I want to talk to you after the messages you left on my machine?" I demanded in an annoyed tone. "I'm sorry Sabrina. At first I was mad because I got off work at midnight, then I get home to call my girl and..." he started. "Wait!" I said angrily, cutting him off. "I am not currently, nor have I ever been your girl, and I never will be. We went out as friends, nothing more" "No, you are my girl. We talk every night, we have gone out on dates..." Jerry argued. "Hold on one damn minute! I yelled, cutting him off again. "Have we ever kissed, held hands, cuddled together, anything?? Have I ever even let you put your arm around me? When we went out, did I not pay my own way and drive my own car?" "No, we have never been romantic in any way, and yes, you always drove your own car and paid for your own meals and movies" Jerry admitted. "Wow, some kind of a date! Baby, maybe I should make you pay for both of us" AJ said, laughing. "Alex please, this isn’t funny" I said, grinning at him while trying not to laugh. "No Baby, you're right. This isn’t funny. When you are trying to be nice to someone and they try and make more out of it then there really is, that is sad" AJ said while looking at Jerry. "Excuse me, but who in the hell are you to be butting in" Jerry asked. AJ looked him dead in the eyes and said "I happen to be her boyfriend, soon to be her husband if it's really any of your business!" "Well, where have you been for the last month that I have known Sabrina?" Jerry snapped back. That is where I jumped in. "I told you about Jay and how we were separated, and that I was trying to find him" "Yes you did, but I figured that after all this time your feelings would have changed for one another" Jerry said. "No Jerry. True love never leaves" you shot back. "So, I’m gathering that you have never been in love, because if you had been you would already know that" AJ threw in, kissing the top of my head. "Oh and Jerry? One more thing. Don’t ever call my lady a bitch or a cocktease ever again or you will have to answer to me and my four brothers. Do we understand each other?" "Yes, I understand" Jerry answered. "Good. Now, I think it's time for you to leave because I am getting very annoyed with this whole mess you have created for yourself. Sabrina is MY Lady. She always has been and she always will be. She never was and never will be yours, so have a good day" AJ said sarcstically as he held the door open. Jerry left without another word, but he was mad and swore to himself that he would get even with me. He sat outside in his car, watching for us to leave. "Come on baby girl, we will finish up tomorrow. You look really tired" AJ said. "I am pretty tired" I replied as we gathered my things and headed out to the cars. "Stay right behind me...I won’t drive fast. I’m tired too, and besides, I will be keeping my eye on you. I don’t want to lose you" AJ ordered playfully, pulling me in for a hug and a kiss. "I’ll see you at home" I said smiling, feeling a little strange that I was saying that to him. "That sounds good coming from you" AJ said, returning my smile and kissing me again. Then we left. "It’s about time they left!" Jerry yelled to no one since he was alone as he followed us, somehow managing to stay out of sight. As we pulled up to a heavily guarded gated community, Jerry watched us pull in. "Oh Shit!" he yelled to no one again. "How in the hell am I going to get in there?" Jerry was getting angrier by the minute. The guard, Tom, noticed Jerry sitting and watching us. When we got in the house, the gate phone was ringing so AJ answered it. "Bone here, talk to me". "This is Tom Mr. McLean. Would it be all right if I come by and talked to you and your lady friend?" "Sure, that would be fine" AJ replied. "Thank You. I will be right there" Tom said. "Hey baby, Tom wants to talk to both of us" AJ informed you as he waited for Tom to arrive. "About what?" I asked. "Probably just some more information on the neighborhood" AJ said, pulling me to him and kissing my neck when the doorbell rang. "Damn it! Just as things were about to get good" AJ whispered, kissing my neck again before walking over to answer the door. "Come on in. What’s up Tom?" AJ asked. Tom told us about the car, the guy, and everything. "Make sure he never gets in!" AJ demanded, very upset. Tom left to do what he needed to do and AJ called Marcus and the other guys as I sat there crying. AJ came over and held me. "Don’t cry baby. I will keep you safe" he promised. Soon, Marcus came in with the other guys right behind him. "Who is this guy and what is his deal?" Marcus asked. Everyone sat and listened while AJ told them about Jerry. I sat there being very quiet with tears running down my face the whole time. Kevin looked over at me. "Bree, it will be ok. I promise. You are our family and no one will hurt our little sister" he said, giving me a warm secure hug, then leaving the room. After a few minutes he returned and sat back down. About a half hour later, Kristin came in and walked directly over to me. "Come on Bree, let’s you and I go make some coffee and tea in the kitchen where we can talk, and leave the guys to talk in here" she said. "I swear if he lays one hand on her or tries to hurt her I will Kill him!" AJ yelled after Kristin and I had left the room. "Bone, settle down!
