CHAPTER ONE:One afternoon you, Kristin, Leighanne and Claudia had all decided to tag along with the boys while they did a rehearsal for a show that they had to do later in the week. It gave you guys an excuse to hang out together and have a little bit of fun. The guys were all in another room with Fatima practicing some new dance steps that she had taught them, so you girls were just out sitting on the stage fooling around and passing the time. Since they had the door shut to the room that they were in, you guys decided to put on some music so that you were not so bored. You put in a various artist CD that had a lot of dance music on it, and before you knew it, you and Kristin were up on the stage dancing and carrying on like you were putting on a show. Claudia and Leighanne were sitting down in the seats of the auditorium watching you and Kristin and they were laughing at you. You guys did this for quite some time and before you knew it, the guys were done with Fatima and had worked their way out to where all of you girls were. Claudia and Leighanne saw them coming and motioned for them to come over and sit down in the chairs with them to watch, but you and Kristin were so into what you were doing that you didn't even notice them come in. You both were basically in your own little world and still had not realized that you now had an audience until AJ sneaked up behind you, and when you had your back turned to him, he jumped out from behind the curtain and onto your back, knocking you to the ground and landing him on top of you. Everyone was laughing hysterically at the site of this and you couldn't help but to laugh also. "Damn you AJ you scared the hell out of me." you spit out between your giggles. "Sorry, but I couldn't pass up the chance to do it…you never saw it coming." AJ laughed. "Well, are we going to get up off of this floor or are we just going to lay here all day?" you asked jokingly. "Oh yeah, I guess we should get up so we can decide what everyone wants to do tonight since we have the night off." he replied. "What do you mean you have the night off? I though that you guys had another rehearsal later tonight to make sure that you had your steps down and stuff? Kristin asked in a confused voice. "We were suppose to have, but Fatima said that she thinks that we have them down pretty good so she gave us the night off since it is Friday and all." Kevin told her. "Hey, that's really cool of her…it would be great if we could all go out and do something together since it's not very often that we all can get together at the same time because of our schedules always being so busy" Claudia offered. "Sounds good to me…what does everyone else think?" Howie asked. "Yeah, that sounds good" everyone agreed. "So, what are we going to do?" Leighanne asked no one in particular. "We could go to a movie or something" Brian suggested. "It's Friday night man, let's go party somewhere" Kevin protested. "That's what I'm saying" AJ added happily. "Yeah, that sounds like fun…***** and Kristin have been out here dancing all day anyway, so why don't we go to a club or something so we can all let loose for a little while?" Claudia agreed. "That sounds good to me but you guys are forgetting one little thing" you said. "What's that?" Kevin asked. "Well, we are sitting here making all of these plans, but Mandy isn't here yet and how do we know that she is going to let Nick go…I mean, if the idea is for all of us to go out together, then he should be there too, and if she don't want to go then she won't want him to go either" you stated simply. "Ok you guys, don't talk about me like I'm not here just because I haven't said anything. If you guys want to go to a club, count me in. It sounds like it will be fun" Nick protested. Everyone kind of gave each other one of those "if you say so" sort of looks because you all knew how Mandy was about dictating to Nick where he could go and stuff like that. "So it's settled then…a club it is. Now which one?" Howie questioned. "Why don't we go to Legend's? That place is really jumping on Friday nights. We can set a time and we can all meet there later on" Kristin suggested. "That sounds like a great idea. What do you guys think?" you asked, hopeful that everyone would agree. "Ok…cool…sounds good" everyone replied. "So that's it then. We will all meet at Legend's at around 9:00" AJ said. "Cool" you all said to show your agreement. "Ok, but Kev you will have to drive over there by yourself because ***** and I have some stuff that we need to do before then" Kristin said while wrapping her arms around Kevin's waist. "Ok sweetie, that's fine. Bone, you can ride with me right?" Kevin asked his friend. "Sure man! That way I don't have to worry about driving and I can drink what I want…lol" AJ laughed. "Oh God!" you said as you rolled your eyes and laughed. "What does that mean?" AJ asked as he looked at you. "Please AJ. You will be all over those poor girls in there as it is, much less if you are drunk" your replied. "Whatever…I will not" he said, pretending to be insulted. "I know you. You want to bet on it?" you shot back. "What do you want to bet?" AJ asked curiously. "Ummmm, ok…if I win, you have to give me that cool pair of sunglasses you have that I like" you told him. "Ok fine, and if I win, you have to buy me dinner at McDonalds for a week" AJ demanded. "Ok, you're on. Those sunglasses are as good as mine." you laughed. "In your dreams" he said confidently. You and AJ continued to exchange wisecracks with each other until you ended up playfully hitting him on the arm. He then playfully hit you back and from there it just turned into an all out fight, but a play one of course. You poked AJ in the stomach and he began to chase you, so you ran and hid behind a chair thinking that he wouldn't come and get you, but much to your surprise, AJ jumped over the chair and landed behind you. He then began tickling you and you fell to the ground. He managed to get you so you were laying on your back and then he proceeded to sit on your stomach and pin your arms down. Everyone else in the room was quite amused and laughing at the two of you, and you both were laughing really hard as well when you looked up and noticed someone standing over you with their arms crossed and they did not look to happy at all.
CHAPTER TWO:
It was your boyfriend Jake. He had always been jealous of your relationship with AJ and he never liked you hanging around where he was. He really had no reason in particular for being there now, probably just to check up on you to make sure that you were where you said you were going to be. You and AJ got up off the floor and you brushed yourself off once more. AJ looked at you as of to say "I'm sorry" and then walked over with everyone else so that you could talk with Jake privately. Jake had other ideas though and he grabbed you by the wrist and dragged you out of the auditorium. When you got outside the door, he slammed you up against the wall and started screaming at you. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? You Tell Me That You Are Coming Here To Sit And Watch Them Rehearse, And Instead You Are In There Laying All Over Him Like Some Little Slut!" he screamed. "How many times do I have to tell you that AJ is my friend and that is all we will ever be? He acts like that all the time, that is just the way he is" you defended. "Yeah, and how many times have I told you that I don't want you hanging around hiM? you are going to end up doing something that you shouldn't, you just watch and see" he said. "Whatever! What are you doing here anyway besides checking up on me?" you questioned. "I came to tell you that I am going to a strip club with some of the guys tonight so I won't be home until late" he stated simply. "And you know that I don't like you going to those places" you replied. "Oh well, you are my girlfriend and not my mother so stop running your mouth to me. I don't want to hear it" he snapped. "Well, that's fine. I have made some plans of my own to go out tonight and be with my friends and I was going to invite you along, but I will have more fun without you there anyway" you shot back. "I bet you will. You think that you and your little loverboy in there can do what ever you want and I will never find out about it? Well, I wouldn't be too sure of that" he said. "Just shut up! You are so stupid. I was friends with AJ long before I even knew you existed so I don't know why you just can't accept our friendship. It's not like it's ever going to change" you told him as you rolled your eyes, continuing to stand your ground. "I don't have time for this shit. I am out of here" he grumbled. With that, he left you standing there in the hallway, tears streaming down your cheeks and your wrist pounding from how tight he had grabbed it when he drug you out of the room. None of your friends liked Jake much, and they all pretty much knew what was going on out there with you two. It happened all the time. It was kind of like Nick and Mandy's relationship in a way. Maybe that is why you and Nick related to each other so well. You went into the bathroom across the hall and freshened yourself up before going back into the auditorium. You didn't want everyone to see that you had been crying, but they all knew anyway. There was no use in trying to hide it from them. Claudia came over to you to ask you if you were ok and you assured her that you were. She didn't look too convinced, but she decided to leave it go and not bother you with it any further as you obviously didn't want to talk about it. By now, it was almost 4:00 and everyone had to get going so that they could do what they needed to do before they had to be at the club. Everyone said goodbye and went their separate ways. Brian left with Leighanne, Howie left with Claudia, Kevin left with AJ, and Nick left in search of Mandy. You and Kristin also left, as you two had some things to do as well before it was time to go out. As you got into the car you could see Kristin looking at you with concern. "What?" you asked as you looked at her. "Nothing. I just don't know why you put up with that crap from him. It's like he expects you to not have any friends" she said softly. "Kris, when he came in he found his girlfriend lying on the floor with another guy on top of her" you defended. "*****, for one thing he was only sitting on you, and secondly, AJ is one of your best friends. You guys act like that all the time" Kristin pointed out. "Yeah, but Jake never sees it" you reminded her. "Why are you always defending him?" she asked, the irritation in her voice quite clear. "I don't know. It's a habit I guess. To be honest though, if things don't get better between us, I don't know how much longer I can hold out. Some days I really can't stand him,and sometimes he treats me so badly that I think I should have already been gone a long time ago" you sighed. "You should have" she replied flatly. "I know, it's just not that easy. Look, I don't really want to talk about this anymore...it's bringing me down. Can we change the subject?" you asked, hopeful that she would let it drop for now. "Sure" she said as she smiled at you. You and Kristin changed the subject and talked about everything from clothes to music to guys and so on. You had a wonderful day shopping and running errands and before you knew it, it was time to get yourself ready for the club. You put on this pair of tight black jeans with a baby blue shirt that is cut into kind of an X shape. It shows pretty much your whole belly. You did your make-up and pulled your hair up on the sides, leaving only a thin strand on each side hanging down. You looked really hott to say the least. Kristin has finished getting ready as well, so you guys climbed into her car and headed off to meet everyone else for what was sure to be a total blast. Outside the club, you pulled up and everyone was standing around waiting for you guys. You were the last ones to get there and you were about 20 minutes late. "It's about time. I was getting worried about you two" Kevin said as he walked over to the car. "We are fine. I just had to wait on *****. You know how long it takes her to get ready" Kristin teased. "Sure, blame it all on me why don't you" you lauged. "So AJ, are you ready to hand those sunglasses over to me now or are you going to make me wait until the end of the night to get them?" you joked as you walked over to where he was. "Little girl, you won't be getting these sunglasses tonight or ever because I am going to win that bet we made" he said confidently. "We will see about that. Let the games begin then." you replied, just as confidently. With that, you all went in and met up with Brian and Leighanne who had gotten there a little early and got the tables. "So Nick, I see you made it. Where is your little ball of sunshine?" Claudia asked unexcitedly. "She is over there in the corner with some of her friends that she had meet her out here" Nick explained. "Well, at least you got to come, even if you did have to drag her along with you" she replied. Everyone laughed at that comment. "Ok you guys, I know it's hard but just try to be nice to her and get along with her for Nick's sake or she will be dragging him out of here, and this is suppose to be one night that we all get to spend hanging out together" Kevin said. You all agreed to try your best to be civil to the she-devil even though it wasn't easy for any of you. Even Brian didn't like her and he is Nick's best friend. "Hey AJ, I see that Mandy brought that girl Lacey that likes you so much. Maybe you guys can hook up" Leighanne said with a laugh. "Ha Ha Leigh…really funny" AJ replied. "I thought it was quite funny myself" Claudia added. "Yeah, well I wouldn't laugh too much if I were you because there sits the other one...what's her name...Taylor, and she wants Howie pretty bad" AJ shot back. "Leave me out of this man. That's just sick" Howie protested. "You just let her try something with my Baby. She won't know what hit her" Claudia said while wrapping her arms around Howie. "Awww...how sweet" Howie said as he leaned over and gave her a kiss. You guys ordered a round of drinks and then went to go dance for awhile. Everyone was having a really good time so far. Mandy was sitting over in the corner with Taylor and Lacey, and the three of them kept shooting dirty looks over at your table but all of you pretty much ignored them as best as you could. You, Kristin, Claudia, and Leighanne had a blast dancing together, and occasionally the guys would come out and join you girls for a song of two. AJ pretty much stayed out there the whole time though, and much to your surprise, at this point of the night, it looked like you just might lose your bet. Oh well, the night was still young and you would just buy him a few more drinks...then it would be in the bag. Just about that time, a slow song came on and AJ asked you to dance with him. You accepted and walked with him hand in hand to a spot on the dance floor. You put your arms around his neck and he put his arms around your waist. You rested your head on his chest and he put his head on top of yours. You kept your eyes closed as you moved to the music, and you could hear his heart beating next to your ear. He held you so close and he smelled so good that you did not want to let go, but before you knew it, the song was over and you had to. As the night wore on, you took turns and danced with all of the guys. You were such good friends with all of the other girls that it was not uncommon for you to dance with Kevin, Brian, Howie, or even Nick when he could get out of Mandy's clutches. You could tell that you were getting some serious " I hate you " looks coming from the table that Lacey, Taylor and Mandy were sitting at because several times that night Taylor had asked Howie to dance, but he told her that he wouldn't because he was with Claudia and Lacey had asked AJ, but he just kept saying maybe later, so to see him and the other guys dancing with you just made them mad. That is what AJ would do when he was trying not to hurt someone's feelings though. Rather than to just flat out turn them down, he would try and make up a reason why he couldn't dance with them. That was one of the things that you like best about AJ...that sensitive side that would make him go out of his way to not hurt someone's feelings, whether he liked them or not.
CHAPTER THREE:
Another slow song started to play and you went up to Nick and asked him if he would dance with you. You kind of felt bad for him because all night Mandy had been at the table with her friends and she wasn’t paying him any mind at all. He looked so sad. You realized that Mandy’s main objective was to get her friends with the guys that they liked so that they would be in the group and the rest of you would be out. At any rate, Nick accepted your offer and the two of you headed out onto the dance floor. "Nick?" you said softly "Yeah?" he asked as the two of you started to dance to the music. "What are you doing with her? You don’t seem very happy" you questioned caringly. "True, but I could say the same thing to you. What are you doing with Jake? He treats you like crap. Just look at what he did to you today" he replied. "I know. I guess in a way we are both in the same boat. We are both in relationships where we are unhappy and treated badly, and yet we don’t leave. I wonder why that is?" you said. "Who knows. I will tell you this though. I don’t know how much more of her I can take. One more stunt and I think that I will have to tell her goodbye" Nick admitted. "Yeah, I know just what you mean" you agreed. Meanwhile, over at Mandy’s table.... "Ugh… I can’t stand *****. Who does she think she is anyway? I mean, she isn’t even dating any of the guys so she has no reason to be over there at all, much less dancing with my boyfriend. She is such a little slut" Mandy complained to her friends. "I know! Did you see her with AJ? I would give anything to be that close to him for just one dance, but he has been stuck to her all night long" Lacey added. "Doesn’t she have a boyfriend anyway? Why does she have to be hanging all over everyone else,s?" Taylor asked. "I don’t know, but she had better watch herself or her boyfriend just might hear about what she has been doing out here tonight" Mandy said. "What do you mean? She hasn’t really done anything yet" Lacey pointed out. "Well, that is the key word...Yet. It is still early and I am sure that she will have more to drink and so will AJ. They are all ready inseparable, so if they are drunk they just might do something stupid" Mandy smirked thoughtfully. "Well, maybe if he has enough to drink he will dance with me then" Lacey protested. "Oh don’t worry, you will get that dance you want. Both of you will. Just give me a little more time" Mandy assured them. "Mandy, are you crazy? It doesn’t matter how much those two have to drink, they are only friends. I would think that they could control themselves better than that" Taylor replied flatly. "Come on and open your eyes!! Don’t you see the way that he looks at her when they are dancing together? There is something there, they just won’t admit it because she has a boyfriend" Mandy shot back. "Ok, but if that were true, then why would they not have acted on it when she didn’t have a boyfriend? Lacey questioned. "Because then AJ had a girlfriend. I don’t think that they have ever both been single at the same time, so therefore, they keep trying to hide what they feel for each other. True, it’s just my opinion, but I think it’s obvious to see. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go get Nick away from her before she tries something with him" Mandy said as she left the table. She walked up to you and Nick and tapped him on the shoulder, telling him that he needs to dance with her. Nick gives you an apologetic look, then he turns to Mandy and begins to dance with her. She gives you this smile as if to say “in your face Bitch” and you would have just loved to slap it off of her, but you remembered what Kevin had said about trying to be civil, and you knew that Nick really had no other choice if he didn’t want to listen to her mouth for the rest of the night. You knew that she only did it because he was dancing with you though, since she had wanted nothing to do with him all night up until then. You decided to just let it drop and you headed back to the table. When you got there, everyone else was there too. They were all sitting around the table trying to decide whose turn it was to buy the drinks. You decided to settle the fight that you would just do it. So you asked everyone what they wanted and you got Kristin to come along with you to help you carry all of it. You guys went up to the bar and ordered everything. You had alot of drinks to carry back to the table, so you gave Kristin four and you took four which just left AJ’s drink, so you put the edge of the glass inbetween your teeth and carried it that way. When you got back to the table, everyone was sitting down except for AJ who was standing at the end of the table. You motioned for him to take the drink out of your mouth, but he decided to act silly instead, and pretend that he didn’t know what you meant. You leaned over the table and handed out the drinks to the person who had ordered them, and then you took AJ’s drink out of your mouth and looked at him. He had this really devilish smile on his face because he knew exactly why you were looking at him that way. "You could have taken that you know" you said. "Now how did I know that it was for me?" he laughed. "Well, even if it wasn’t for you, you could have taken it because you saw that I had my hands full" you replied. "You seemed to have it under control" he said. "Yeah, whatever! Just for that, I shouldn’t give you your drink at all smartass" you teased, holding the glass away from him. "You are going to give me my drink and you are going to like it" AJ demanded playfully. "Oh am I now?" you asked with a laugh. With that said, you take the glass and hold it up in the air as if to keep it away from him. Of course, AJ is taller than you are, so he could still reach it. He grabbed your wrist causing some of the drink to spill out of the top of the glass and down your arm. When that happened, he backed off while laughing at the mess he had caused. You think to yourself “ Oh is that how it is?” as you set the glass down on the table and get a handful of ice out of it. By now, it’s obvious that no one is going to drink it anyway after the two of you spilled it all over the place. You waited until AJ wasn't looking at you, or so you thought, and you snuck up behind him, getting ready to throw the ice down his shirt. Suddenly, and much to your surprise, he turned around and grabed your arm. You continued to try and get the ice down his shirt, but he held onto your arm until the ice melts....once again, all over you. "Uh-huh, you thought that you were slick didn’t you? Nice try, but not good enough to get me" AJ said triupmhantly. "That’s ok, I will get you before the night is over" you assured him. "You go on and think that way then, but much like you winning that bet we made, it’s never going to happen" he insisted. "Give me a break" you said as you rolled your eyes. Everyone at the table was just laughing at you guys. They got quite a kick out of watching you and AJ go back and forth. Leighanne looked at you with this look on her face as if to say “we will get him, don’t worry” and you just had to laugh too. A few drinks later, and much to your surprise, AJ was still behaving himself and you were losing your bet with him. Everyone had pretty much retired to the table so they could just sit and talk for awhile with exception of You, Kristin and AJ. You guys were a bit too wound up to sit still due to a few too many drinks. Howie had just returned from the bar with yet another round of drinks because it was his turn to buy this time, and when you saw him put the glasses on the table, you knew that it was your chance to get AJ back from earlier in the evening. You went around to the side of the table where Leighanne was sitting and you told her to distract AJ with some sort of conversation so that you could get him. She agreed, and then you went back around to the other side of the table to wait for your chance to make your attack. "Hey AJ, let me see that new watch that you got the other day" Leighanne called to him. As he turned around to lean over the table to show her his watch, you motioned to Kevin to hand you your glass. You took and quickly drank what was inside so that you could dump some ice into your hand. When you had a handful of it, you went up behind him and started to reach for his belt loop so that you could stick it down his pants. Somehow though, he knew that you were behind him and just as you did that, he turned around and grabbed your arm yet again. "Uh-huh. You thought that you were sneaky, huh? Just what did you think you were going to do with that ice?" he questioned victoriously. "What ice? I don’t have any ice" you replied innocently. "Let me see what is in your hand then. Open it up" he replied. "No way! You don’t need to see what is in my hand. Maybe it’s personal" you said, giggling as he continued to hold your wrist. "It’s going to be personal in about 2 seconds if you don’t let me see it" he threatened playfully. "And just what are you going to do about it if I don’t? I am not afraid of you ya know" you instigated. "Well, maybe you should be" he said as he grabbed your hand and tried to pry it open. You turned around so your back was facing him, thinking that this would keep him from getting the ice from you. He took and put his arms around yours from behind you so that you were pinned, and although he could not get the ice out of your hands, it had started to melt and it was dripping onto the floor. "So you don’t have any ice huh? What do you suppose is dripping all over the floor because it is melting in your hand then?" he asked. "I think you are seeing things. I don’t have any ice I’m telling you" you laughed. "Ok, you just play that way then. I don’t have any either" he said. Just then, AJ took one arm off of you and reacheed over to the table to get his glass. He finished what was left in it and then got a handful of ice out of it, throwing it down the front of your shirt. "Shit AJ! That’s cold!" you screamed. "Now I am going to have to walk around the rest of the night in this wet shirt and I didn’t even think to bring my jacket when we left the house today so I will freeze when we leave" "I guess that you should have thought about that before you started a war that you weren’t good enough to win" AJ stated proudly. As he let go of you and turned his attention to the rest of the guys at the table, you bent down and picked up some of the ice that fell out of your shirt. You then snuck up behind him, grabbed his belt loop and droped the ice down his pants. "What was it that you were saying about that war Bone?" you teased, trying to control your laughter. By now, everyone at the table was cracking up because of the two of you. "You know you guys, I don’t even know why we come out because we get more than enough entertainment watching these two carry on" Brian said. "That was dirty. I didn’t put it down your pants where you couldn’t get it out" AJ protested. "Face it buddy, you just can’t compete with the master" you shrugged. "Master my ass!" he said. Just then, a slow song came on so AJ said to you "I think you owe me a dance for that now" You agreed to the dance, still laughing at him and headed to the dance floor once more. You guys didn't say a whole lot, you just closed your eyes as you moved to the music, and for those few moments, it was almost as if you were one. Back at the table, everyone was watching the two of you and talking about what a cute couple you and AJ would make. "Cute maybe, but they are both stubborn as hell and neither one of them will admit that they like each other" Claudia said. "They would be so good together too" Kristin added with a sigh. "Well, that’s for sure" Leighanne agreed. "Yeah, and I don’t know exactly what it is, but looking at them out there dancing and holding each other close, it just seems right. Kind of like they were meant to be" Claudia continued. "Ok now, don’t you girls go getting any ideas about being the little matchmakers" Brian laughed. "Yeah, I know how you guys get about stuff like that. You don’t even know for sure that they like each other in that way. You just think they do" Nick said. "Oh Honey, we won’t interfere, it was just a conversation, but trust me Nick, they do. Women just have a way of knowing these things" Leighanne corrected. Meanwhile, your slow song had ended but you and AJ decided to stay out on the floor and dance to some fast songs. It had gotten to the point of the night were it was late, and everyone was feeling the effects of their alcohol. The DJ was playing all the songs he owned with suggestive lyrics, and lets just say that you and AJ gave the phrase "dirty dancing" a whole new meaning. Everyone at your table was just kind of staring at the two of you with their mouths open. They didn’t really know what to say because they couldn’t believe what they were seeing. Of course, due to the fact that Lacey still wanted to dance with AJ, she was watching everything that was going on out on the dance floor, and she was none to happy. "Oh my god! Will you guys look at them out there? Why don’t they just get a room or something? They are all but getting it on right there on the dance floor with all of these people in here" she whined.
CHAPTER FOUR:
"Well, I for one have had just about enough of this little show tonight, and I think it’s about time that something is done about it. She does have a boyfriend after all and I think he should know about what is going on out here" Mandy said with an evil tone in her voice. "Maybe so, but he isn’t here and it would just be your word against hers and all of them would back her up. What makes you think he would believe you?" Taylor asked. "Seeing it with his own eyes would make him believe it, and that is just what he is going to do" Mandy replied. "And just how is he going to do that" Lacey questioned. "Because I am going to call him right now and tell him to get his ass out here and look at what his little slut of a girlfriend is up to, and then I guess I will just have to go over there and try to make sure she keeps her hands off Nick. Besides, we don’t want them suspecting how Jake ended up here, now do we?" Mandy told her, quite pleased with the little scheme that she had come up with. "I don’t think you have to worry about her and Nick. They are just friends" Lacey said reassuringly. "Yeah, well, so are her and AJ and look how they are acting. If that is how she acts with her friends, then I don’t think her and Nick need to be friends anymore" Mandy shot back. "Good luck with that. From what I have seen, her and Nick are pretty good friends" Taylor laughed. "We will just see about that, but for now I have to go make my call" Mandy hissed, not thinking that her friend's comments were funny. She got up from the table and walked outside to the parking lot to make her call. She flipped through her little black book and found the number to Jakes cell phone and dialed it. "Hello?" came the voice on the other end. "Jake?" Mandy asked. "Yeah, who is this?" Jake demanded. "This is Mandy...Nick’s girlfriend" she said. "Do you remember me?" "Yes, I remember you. What’s up?" he asked. "Well, as I am sure you know, all of us decided to come out to this club and hang out tonight since everyone had the night free, and I just thought you might be interested to know what is going on" Mandy replied. "Actually no, I didn’t know that you guys were going to a club. All ***** told me was that she had made some plans to go out and do something. So, where are you and what is it that I might want to know about? I am kind of in the middle of something here" Jake questioned impatiently. "Ok, well sorry if I am interrupting you from something, but I thought that you might like to know that as we speak, your so called girlfriend is here getting it on with AJ" she said. "What the hell is that suppose to mean and where are you?" he practically yelled into the phone. "We are at Legends, and what that is supposed to mean is that ***** and AJ have been all over each other all night and it is only getting worse. Right now they are in there on the dance floor grinding and rubbing all over each other" she informed him. "That little Bitch. I knew it" Jake said angrily. "So are you coming out?" Mandy asked, trying to instigate him. "Hell yes. I will be there in 15 minutes but don’t let them know it. I want to see this for myself" he told her. "You got it. I’ll see you then. Bye." she agreed. "Bye" he said as he hung up the phone. Mandy smiled to herself as she turned off her cell phone and headed back inside. She headed over to the table where Nick and all the others were sitting so that they would not suspect her when Jake got there. She sat down by Nick and noticed that everyone was still kind of watching you and AJ on the dance floor. Kristin and the rest of the girls were quite happy to see the two of you spending so much time together and especially dancing the way you were. They couldn’t help but to think that it was a good sign. "You know, I think this is the first time that we have been in a club and AJ was with only one girl the whole night" Kristin joked. "I know what you mean. Usually by now he has been with about 50" Leighanne laughed. "You guys can’t possibly find that amusing. She does have a poor unsuspecting boyfriend sitting at home and look what she is doing to him" Mandy protested. "Poor and unsuspecting my ass! That is a bunch of shit and you know it. He is probably out doing something 100 times worse than dancing right now" Kevin said in a slightly raised tone of voice. "For real. Besides that, it is nice to see ***** having some fun for a change and forgetting about the way he treats her" Claudia added. "So, you are telling me that you see nothing wrong with what they are doing out there? They might as well just lay down on the floor and have sex at the rate they are going" Mandy argued in disgust. "Whatever! Just look around and you will see that everyone in the place is dancing like that. It’s just that time of the night and that kind of music" Nick said, defending you. Mandy shot him an evil look for taking a side other than her own, so he just stopped with that. "It doesn’t really matter anyway because they are both a little on the drunk side and neither one of them will probably remember any of this when they wake up" Howie said. "That’s right, and last time I checked, what either one of them did, didn’t concern you Mandy. Since when did you and Jake become such good friends that you really care about who does what to him?" Kristin questioned. "I didn’t say that we were but I just don’t think it’s right. I wouldn’t do that to Nick" Mandy replied flatly. "Yeah ok, can we just drop all this and talk about something else now?" Brian suggested. "Yes we can because the bottom line anyway is that they are both adults and they can do what they want, with who they want, whenever they want to and it doesn’t matter who don’t like it" Claudia said. "And, if we have our way, they will be together before long anyway because she will be much better off with AJ than she is with Jake now" Kristin said matter-of-factly. "Well, AJ is going to be with Lacey if I can help it" Mandy shot back. "Please! He isn’t going to be with her anymore than I am going to be with that Taylor girl" Howie said. "I understand your situation Howie, but there is no reason that AJ can’t give Lacey a chance" Mandy complained. "Sure there is. He don’t like her at all and AJ is not the type to be with someone that he doesn’t like. He isn’t a fake like that" Leighanne informed her. "Yeah, and besides that, I think deep down, even if he is stubborn and won’t admit it, he has his sights set on someone already" Kristin agreed. "Well, we don’t know that for sure, but can we all just stop arguing about it now? We are suppose to be having fun" Kevin interjected. "I don’t think that anyone was arguing until she got here, and even now I think that she is the only one that anyone is arguing with" Claudia said while looking at Mandy. "You guys always blame everything on me" Mandy objected. "Ok enough! Everybody just chill out and lets find something else to talk about" Howie interrupted. "Fine with me" you all agreed. Everyone found some other conversation to get into with the exception of Mandy who still had her eyes on You and AJ when she saw Jake walk in and move to a corner where he wouldn't be noticed. She excused herself from the table, stating that she had to use the bathroom, and then headed over to where Jake was standing. "Finally!" she said as she approached him. "I thought that you would never get here." "I got here when I could get here, so get off my back" Jake snapped. "Look, I am doing you a favor so don’t yell at me. All I am saying is that they could have stopped it by now" Mandy shot back. "I doubt that somehow. She is all over him or he is all over her every time I see them together. They all can say that they are just friends, but I’m not buying that shit. She is probably already letting him fuck her every chance she gets" Jake replied. "I wouldn’t doubt it" Mandy agreed, trying to add fuel to the already burning fire. "So where are they?" Jake asked. "Right over there" Mandy said while pointing out where you and AJ were dancing. Jake looked in the direction that Mandy pointed in and saw you and AJ out on the dance floor still dancing. You had your arms up in the air and AJ had his hands on your hips, and you were so close together that you probably couldn’t have fit a sheet of paper between you. Jake just watched you as your bodies moved together to the music. He grew angrier every minute that he watched AJ grinding his hips against yours and you wrapping your arms around his neck as you laughed with him about something he just whispered in your ear. He didn't say anything, but just stood there watching and talking it all in. Finally, Mandy grew impatient at him just standing there and said “ Well, aren’t you going to do something? I can’t stand here all night with you while you make up your mind. I have to get back to the table before they start to wonder where I am and what is taking me so long.” "So go. I don’t need you to stand here with me. I can take care of what I need to do without you. Besides, I don’t think I will do anything here. I think I will wait and talk to my so-called girlfriend when she gets home. That way we will be alone and none of her little friends will be there to get in the way" Jake said. "You mean that you are just going to leave and let her continue to do this the rest of the night?" she questioned in disbelief. "That is exactly what I mean. I have been here and I saw it with my own eyes, but my buddies are waiting for me back at the strip club where I was when you called" he replied simply. "That sucks! I thought that you would get here and drag her home and then my friend could finally get a chance to get with AJ. It’s not like anyone can get near him when ***** is around" she complained. "Sorry. I would love to help you out with that, but I have to go. Thanks for the information though" Jake called as he headed out the door. "Sure, see you around" Mandy mumbled. With that, she headed back over to the table, hoping that no one noticed Jake in the corner, or her in the corner talking to him. When she got there, she saw that you and AJ had finally come back off the dance floor to sit down. You were both out of breath and sweating like crazy, but you had been having the time of your life. She thought to herself “thank God he got here when he did because if he had been a few minutes later, he would have missed it." The DJ just announced that was last call and that the club would be closing in a half hour. Lacey and Taylor walked over to your table because Mandy was still over there and they wanted to tell her that they were getting ready to go. She apologized to them that she could not get them their dances this time, and she promised them that they would have better luck next time. They exchanged their goodbyes and their hugs and then they left. You leaned over to Kristin and said “I am glad they are leaving. Why were they here anyway?” "I am sure that Mandy told them we were coming and to meet her here. I guess she needed someone to talk to since none of us like her and can never find anything to talk to her about" Kristin replied with a smile. "So true" you said smiling back at her. "You guys about ready to go? They are going to be closing in a few minutes anyway and I think that Brian wants to go to bed" Kevin asked while laughing. "Yeah, we might as well go" everyone agreed. "Hey you guys, it’s still early. Why don’t we go back to my house and watch a movie or something?" AJ offered. "Sounds good to me" you replied happily. "Me too. Do you feel like it honey?" Kristin chimed in while looking at Kevin for approval. "Yes, we can go. What about you guys?" Kevin asked everyone else. "Count us in" Howie and Claudia said at the same time. "I think Brian and I are going to go on home because we are both tired and we have to be up early in the morning. Sorry, but thanks anyway" Leighanne apologized. "No problem. What about you Nick?" AJ questioned. "I’m coming" Nick said. "No you aren’t! I want to go home and you are my ride so you have to take me. Plus, you have been with them all day and all night so I think that you and I need to spend some time alone together" Mandy demanded. "But I want to go" Nick protested. "Nick!" she snapped. "Fine! I guess I'm not coming after all" he sighed. You looked over at the girls and just rolled your eyes. All of you were thinking the exact same thing because this happened every time Nick wanted to go somewhere with you guys and she didn't, which was quite often. You were all pretty much used to it by now. "It’s cool man. If you change your mind, you know where we will be and where I keep my extra key" AJ assured him. "I will keep that in mind. Thanks man" Nick replied. "Well, good now that all that is settled, we just have to work out the driving situation. You and you (pointing to you and Kristin) have both had way too much to drink for me to let you drive home, so you are both going with me" Kevin pointed out. "Ok, but I don’t want to leave my car here" Kristin said. "Well, AJ can’t drive it because he has had way too much to drink too, so he has to ride with us also. Howie, you and Claudia rode together right?" Kevin asked his friend. "Yes." Howie answered simply. "And you are going to AJ’s right?" Kevin asked. "Yes" Howie said again. "Cool. Both of you guys are ok to drive, so why don’t you drive your car and let Claudia drive Kristin’s? That way it will be at AJ’s and we don’t have to leave it here. Is that ok with you Claudia?" Kevin suggested. "Sure, that will be fine with me" Claudia agreed. "Great. So it’s settled then. Kris give her your keys" Kevin said. Kristin handed Claudia the keys and you all left the club and headed to the parking lot to get the cars. "Lets go finish this party people" AJ yelled excitedly. You all laughed at him as you exchanged goodbye hugs with Brian and Leighanne and Nick. Brian and Leighanne got into Brian's BMW and Nick and Mandy got into Nick's Durango and they went in their separate directions. Howie got into his Corvette and Claudia got into Kristin’s Alero. You, Kristin, Kevin, and AJ headed for Kevin’s Navigator, with him and Kristin getting in the front and you and AJ getting in the back. Kevin yelled to Howie and Claudia that he would see them at AJ’s house and then he shut the door. It was about a half an hour ride to get there, so you figured that you might as well get comfortable. You stretched out across the seat with your head on AJ’s lap. He just smiled at you and began to stroke your hair as you looked up at him from his lap. Kristin noticed you two as she looked in the mirror, and she just looked over at Kevin and smiled. She didn't need to say a word, because he already knew just what she was thinking as he looked in the rear view mirror and had to smile as well. The two of you really were a sight to see.
CHAPTER FIVE:
When you got to AJ’s house, Howie and Claudia were already there waiting for you guys to get your stuff and head for the house. Once you got inside, everyone headed to the theater room to try and decide what movie to watch. You, Kristin, and Claudia had been through this before with these guys and you knew that it would take them forever and a day to decide what they wanted to watch, so Kristin and Claudia decided that while the boys tried to pick something that they could all agree on, they would go in the kitchen and get some snacks. While they were doing that, you decided that you were going to go and get a shower because you smelled like smoke and that alcohol that AJ spilled all over you at the club and it was starting to bother you. You started to head upstairs, but then you realized that you were at AJ’s house and not your own and that you would have nothing to put on after you got out of the shower, so you yelled down the stairs to him to see if he might have something that you could borrow for the night until you could get back to your house and can get some of your own clothes. "Hey AJ, can you come here for a second?" you called from the top of the stairs. "Yeah, I’ll be right there...hang on. If I leave now, they will pick the movie without me." he called back. "Ok, but hurry up." you said. "Alright." he replied. You laughed to yourself because just as you thought, they still hadn’t picked a movie yet. While you were waiting on AJ to get up there, you decided to go ahead into the bathroom and start getting the water and stuff ready. You didn’t want to tie up the main bathroom in the hallway incase someone else might need to use it, so you went into AJ’s room to use the shower in that bathroom. You knew he wouldn’t mind because this certainly wasn’t the first time that you had to take a shower at his house, and you have always used the shower in his room any other time. You went into the bathroom and after almost tripping on a pile of laundry in the middle of the floor, you managed to get the light on. You pulled a clean towel from the rack and laid it on top of the hamper for when you got out. Then you sat down on the edge of the tub and started to run some hot water. You decided that you would rather take a bath than a shower, so you added some bubble bath to the water. While it was running, you sat there and took off your shoes and socks. You were just getting ready to slip out of your jeans when AJ came bursting through the door and almost scared you to death because you didn’t hear him coming over the running water. "What’s up?" he asked cheerfully. "Oh my god! AJ you scared the shit out of me." you said. "Sorry. Didn’t you hear me running up the stairs?" he laughed. "No. I guess that I couldn’t hear you over the water running." you admitted. "So, what did you need?" he asked curiously. "Oh, I wanted to take a bath and get this smell of smoke and this sticky beer that you so kindly dumped on me off of me, but I don’t have anything to put on when I get out. Do you have something that I can borrow until I get back home?" you replied. "Sure. You know that I do, but why didn’t you just get it yourself. You know where everything is." he said. "True, but I didn’t want to be rude. Besides that, I wouldn’t know what was clean and what was dirty." you teased as you looked at the pile of clothes on the bathroom floor. "Bite me" AJ quipped as he walked out into his bedroom to get you something to put on. He came back into the bathroom with a pair of BSB boxers and a t-shirt that you would absolutely swim in. You got up off the edge of the tub to take the clothes from him and begin to thank him when you notice that he is staring at you for some reason. "What are you looking at me like that for?" you questioned. "Well, either you were starting to get undressed before I got up here or you are really happy to see me" AJ laughed. You looked at him puzzled for a second, and then you realized that you were standing there in front of him with your jeans unbuttoned and unzipped and the top of your underwear was showing. "Oh God, I can’t believe that I just did that" You said, laughing with embarrassment as you sent him out the door. "You going to be long in there cause we want to start the movie?" AJ asked. "No, I will be done in about 15 minutes to a half hour. Wait for me ok?" you answered. "You got it Baby Girl" he said as he headed back downstairs with everyone else so that you could take your bath. That was AJ’s nickname for you for as long as you could remember, and you had to admit that you did like it when he called you that. You took your bath, got out, and put on the clothes that AJ gave to you. You quickly brushed your hair out and then you headed down the stairs to join the others. Everyone was already in the theater room waiting on you to get there. "Nice outfit *****" Kristin said with a smile. "Ha Ha Kris. Very funny" you shot back, returning her smile. "So, what are we watching anyway?" "Road Trip" Howie said enthusiastically. "Cool. That movie is suppose to be funny" you said. "Yeah, well that may be, but I am sure that all of the senseless nudity had nothing to do with their choice" Claudia joked. "Now come on, you guys know us better than that. Would we want to pick a movie for that reason?" Kevin said with a wicked smile on his face. "Oh no, not you guys" Kristin laughed as she hit Kevin upside the head with a pillow. "Well, I guess that is what we get for letting them pick" you threw in. You took a seat next to AJ on one of the couches because Howie and Claudia were stretched out on the one and Kevin and Kristin were all but making out on the other one. You guys dimmed the lights and started the movie. Due to the fact that it was already like 4:00am and you all had a good bit to drink earlier in the evening, you all had fallen asleep about halfway into the movie. Kevin and Kristin had fallen asleep in each others arms, Howie and Claudia were both asleep wrapped up together, and AJ was laying on his stomach with his head on you and you had your arm around his neck. Of course, you were asleep also and neither one of you even realized that you were doing it. A few hours later, Nick walked into AJ’s house and wondered where you guys were all at since it was so quiet. It was only around 9:00am and you guys had not been asleep all that long, so you were all basically dead to the world and none of you heard him come in the house or call your names. Nick continued to go from room to room until he got to the room where all of you are at. He walked in to find the movie screen blue because no one ever turned it off last night. As he looked around at the different couches and saw how you guys were sleeping, he began to think to himself. He looked at Kevin and Kristin and thought how cute they looked there sleeping together and how happy they looked. Then he looked at Howie and Claudia and thought pretty much the same thing. Next he looked at You and AJ together on the couch with your arms wrapped around each other and thought...“Now what is going on there. I wonder if I missed anything last night because stupid Mandy wouldn’t let me come over here.” He did have to admit though, that you guys would make a pretty good couple if you both would just stop being so stubborn and get together. His attention span however, was as usual very short lived and he soon was into the movie cabinet picking out a movie that he settled on the floor to watch. Either he didn't sleep much the night before or he got up before he was ready this morning, because it wasn’t long until, he too, was fast asleep. Not too long after that, you were all awakened by the sound of a familiar, yet unwanted voice yelling for Nick.
