MAY 2004 Spring is Renewal
What’s Up At the Gallery:
Works by artists Natasha Diniz, Liz Huggins and Lynda Alber are on.
- Lynda Alber’s work currently consists of photography and live model watercolour sketches. Her photographs of a Chinese Temple and Spring gardens symbolize peace and culture in Japan. Her models give insight into our own humaness.
- Natasha Diniz is a former student of St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga and is currently attending Ontario College of Art, Toronto. Natasha’s energy and enthusiasm about art has set a foundation among her peers. She was instrumental in initiating murals within the walls of her former high school.
- Liz Huggins is continuing the tradition of art within her family from Trinidad. She is in natural state sketching and colouring portraits of turtles, dogs and fishes. An important contribution to humanity.
- Delicate handmade pottery from Trinidad
Coming Exhibit: May 21 to May 30. Port Credit's Artwalk.
View art by artist Laurie Nolan, Christa Adler and Barbara Succo.
