"Mommy!" Harmony wailed. She must have been trying to get my attention for awhile because she looked and sounded impatient.
"Yes dear?"
"If Briley went to prom with Justin, why did she marry JC?"
"Oh honey, that's a long story!"
"I want to know!" Harmony insisted.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
"Yeah! Tell me about before JC and Briley got married!"
"Okay... it all happened in the summer of 1999..." I stopped.
"What?" Harmony curiously asked.
"Nothing. Anyway, before me and Briley went to college, we took a trip to Florida during one of *N Sync's breaks from touring. Alex went with us."
"For Justin," Harmony stated.
"Right."
"What then?" She asked.
"Well, come upstairs with me." We stood, and I took her hand. We walked up to the attic and together, Harmony and I sat down in front of the trunk. I reached over and pulled a photo album out of the pile of memories. I spread it open across our laps. Harmony's attention was immediately drawn to a picture of Lance and I kissing in front of Cinderella's castle.
"Ohh... mommy!" Harmony giggled.
"Oh, don't say that. You'll kiss a boy one day too!" I teased her.
"Nuh-uh!" Harmony shook her head.
We continued looking through the pictures. "Will you tell me the story now?" Harmony whined.
"Okay, okay... I'll tell you the story now," I whined back. I took a deep breath. "Like I said, it was during the summer of 1999..." This time, not only had I been pulled into the past, but Harmony was with me.
