This is just about the concerts that I went too and who played at them.

X-Fest 2002
    -5/17/2002
    -Pittsburgh, PA (Post Gazette Pavilion)
-Rob Zombie, Puddle Of Mudd, Hoobastank, Tenacious D, The Clarks, Adema, Static-X, Custom,
Course Of Nature, Unwritten Law, Earshot, Familiar 48, Revielle, Quarashi, Trik Turner, Sodajerk,
     Punchline

My first real concert I ever went too and I was not disappointed at all.  Possibly one of the best days in my life.  It was Mitch, Joseman, Emily, Tony, Kendra, Lori, Emily's mom, Joseman's dad, and I that went.  We all just jumped in Kendra's Van to get their.  I tried sneaking in a bottle of water when we entered the gates, but that didn't turn out the way I wanted it too. I was ready too, I had my hair blue and spiked up. As soon as we got their a band was playing on the 3rd stage, I think it was Punchline.  In my opinion they sucked.  Then we went and seen Quarashi on the 2nd stage.  They were awesome.  I got one of their demos and had it autographed by Hossi!  After they got done putting on a hell of a show we all just walked around and was checking everything out.  Tons of freaks everywhere.  But it was awesome.  Then we went to the 2nd stage about an hour before Adema started playing just so we can be up front...It worked but not the way we wanted it too.  We were probably about 5 feet away from them.  But what sucked was we were getting killed by all the people moving up front.  And to make thing worse I got stuck in a mosh pit!  Watching people mosh is so awesome, they kill each other and just don't care.  But when your 15 years old and 140 lbs you don't want to get stuck in one.  Messed up my shoulder for a couple weeks.  So after that was over we walked around some more.  And this is when it started raining, but I'll get into that later.  So after walking around for a little bit we went back to the 2nd stage and saw Hoobastank.  I thought they were pretty good.  And that is also when all the whores started taking off their shirts and flashing everyone.  Didn't bother me at all. "Pittsburgh...more like Titsburgh."   Right after Hoob was done we went over to the Main stage and Rob Zombie started up.  The whole place just went nuts.  It was so crazy.  And all while this was happening it was down pouring.  And their was a nice breeze too, so that didn't make things any better.  But me and Joseman were not cold at all.  We were going nuts the whole damn time.  So then after Zombie was done tearing the place up, me and Jose just decided to stay at the main stage because I wanted to see Puddle Of Mudd play.  Everyone else went back to the van.  What was funny was 1/2 the people that were at X-Fest all left after Zombie was done.  So Jose and I seen a little bit of Puddle and then we decided to call it quits.  So even though the weather sucked terribly it was still one of the best days in my life.  Can't wait to go again next year.  ROB ZOMBIE KICKS ASS!!!

X-Fest 2003
    -5/26/03
    -Pittsburgh, PA (Post Gazette Pavilion)
-Godsmack, Staind, Evanesance, Taproot, Cold, The Donnas, Trapt, The Juliana Theory, Eve 6,
The Used, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Punchline, Smile Empty Soul, 12 Stones

Wow, what a damn day.  By far so much better then last years X-Fest.  Not as much good bands but the weather was 500 times better and I got right up close to three of the bands, The Used, Trapt, and Taproot.  This time it was me, Mitch, and Costa that went in my car.  We followed Lori's van who had Lori, Amanda, Diana, Kendra, and Brianna.  We all met at mcd's (aka hell) at 10:30 and were supposed to leave.  But we ended up waiting for about almost an hour for Justin who decided not to even show up but I wont even get into that.  So we go cruising in my LeBaron with the top down the whole time through what seemed like circles till we finally got their.  Amanda gave Lori the shittiest way to get their but we did make it and that's all that counted.  So we tailgated for about 2 hours eating chips and drinking "pop."  We finally made it in.  I had to smuggle in Costa's camera which he ended up busting it in the mosh pit.  First band we saw play was The Used.  They kicked ass.  The lead singer was wasted himself and was just clowning on everything especially Eve 6 who was playing after them.  Then we went to see Seether which i didn't think were all that great.  Mitch, Costa, Freer, and Emily wanted to see them instead of 12 Stones which was ridiculous because everyone I know that seen 12 stones said they put on one of the best shows.  So after Seether we just walked around for a little bit and got to Trapt an hour early so we could be right up front.  And was it worth it.  The whole time it was just nuts.  I ended up moshing a little bit with people their.  It wasn't as bad as last year since i gained 30 pounds from last year.  It was actually awesome until the big 300-400 pound dudes got a piece of you.  So after Trapt played we all went to the main stage and Evanescence was playing their last song "Bring Me To Life." And god did they suck.  After Evanescence we were supposed to see Cold but they couldn't perform because the guitarist broke his arm.  So we just walked around and just checked out everyone that was there.  Then we went to go see Taproot at the second stage.  They kicked ass too.  I was right up front and everyone was just going nuts.  This one dude was body surfing and they threw him in the pit and he landed right on his damn head.  Ended up leaving in an ambulance.  Then after Taproot it was Godsmack who put on a hell of a show.  Their pyros for their act was so damn cool.  Had flames all over the damn place.  After Godsmack was done we went to my car and just ate so much since we didn't buy anything there to eat because its like 5 bucks just for a little slice of pizza.  Then when we were leaving the parking lot which took about an hour we saw a big rumble with cops and security running everywhere to stop it.  I have to say it was better then last years X-Fest because the weather was awesome, I even got sun burnt from it.  And I was up close for three of the acts which was just the best thing ever.  Cant wait for next year!

Meteora World Tour 2004

-1/21/2004
-Cleveland, OH (Convocation Center at CSU)
-Linkin Park, P.O.D., Hoobastank, Story Of The Year

A really good concert here.  Halfway through school me, Mitch, and Krystina left to roll up to Krystina's house.  We loaded up on candy, pop, and food before we left to go to Cleveland.  Mike (Krystinas b/f) drove us up their.  It took us a couple of hours but we finally made it into Cleveland.  We parked in some parking garage and went out to walk to the Convocation Center.  Little did we know it was about a 2 hour walk.  It really sucked because it was probably 12 degrees with that damn wind.  So we went back to the car and drove around the city to find the Center.  We did end up getting their about 30 minutes before the concert started.  We got in our seats which were really good because they were really close up.  the first band that played was Story Of The Year.  I thought they kicked ass.  They were going nuts the whole time.  Their one guitarist jumped on his amp then did a backflip off of it.  After Story Of The Year, Hoobastank started playing.  They were pretty good.  I already seen them live 2 years ago and thought they did alot better then but they were still good.  Next was P.O.D.  and they tore that shit up.  They played all of their hits and were kickin ass until the main event had to come on.  Yeah it was Linkin Park and they put on a hell of a show.  The hundreds of thousands of people their were all standing up the whole time they were playing.  And I never heard a crowd that loud in my life.  They played for about a hour and a half.  Then they left but he crowd was still going nuts so they came out for an encore.  They played for another half hour and then left again.  But that wasn't it, the crowd was still going nuts so they came out again and did another encore.  When they finally left the crowd was still deafening for about 10 minutes.  We got out of CSU and started heading home.  We got home at about 2:00 but it was all worth it.  Another kick ass concert to add to my list.
