Hey, ya'll. I know...its late, but my Auntie is visiting from London,
and we've been chatting the night away. I hope everyone had an AMAZING
Valentines Day. I, of course, had to work. Fortunately, I LOVE MY JOB!!!
Its like family there...and its their biggest night of the year. The
reservations were nuts. Alex surprised me and came in for dinner with my
Momma', and our best friends, Liz and Dean. (They're a
couple...actually, they went away to Lake Arrowhead with us for New Years Eve. And I
don't mean to toot my own horn, but I am quite the snowboarding queen!!!)
He brought me a card that almost made me break down at work, but I kept
it together, cause we were slammed!! He stayed till nearly the end of
my shift, but when it got to be 11pm, he bounced. When I got home,
around midnight, I arrived to hundreds of rose petals spread all over the
entryway. Once I turned the key, there were dozens of red roses and heart
shaped balloons spread throughout the house....it was an awesome
evening, despite the fact that Alex forgot that the dogs eat EVERYTHING in
sight, including....ROSE PETALS!!!! So...I spent most of the morning
sweeping them all up, so that they don't get sick. Thats all we need. We
had a great brunch today with my Auntie Mandi. I love little 50's Diners,
and we went to one in Santa Monica. Alex had never been before, and he
was in bacon and chilli cheese heaven. (Good Morning...and
uuuhhh...wheres the nearest tiolet???)
Anyway, I have been rehearsing with the vocalists for my show, and they
kick ass!!! I'm doing all new material, so for those of you who can
attend, get ready for some new stuff. These last few weeks have been
extremely inspiring lyrically, and I hope you like it all. I kind of feel
like I have put the dramatic, emotional Sarah to bed, and invited a whole
new part of me to the surface. Its good times, ya'll!! So with
that...I bid you adieu. And I want to thank each and every one of you who
have made the mature decision to stand by my side, and support me as a
musician. And nothing more. Nothing that I post will ever be false or
fabricated. Maybe a little sarcastic, but I have no reason to fill you with
lies. So thank you all for trusting me as a friend. Goodnight...and
