Hi, you've safely arrived to Enrique Faithful. This is an explanation of my 'Awaken to your sorrow' doll, entered in Alex's contest at Miniature Reality. Thank you to Khyra at Kawaii Dollies for the base! In "The Five Boons of Life," a fairy presents a young man with five different gifts for him to choose from, Fame, Love, Riches, Pleasure and Death. After he chose Pleasure (which turned out to be merely Pain), the fairy appeared to him again, offering him the four remaining gifts. Many years later, however, we find the man sitting by his wife's coffin. With his children moved away, and "the dearest and the last" gone forever, his happiness has left him forever. He has awakened from his dream of Love to his reality of Greif. This is the idea I have tried to capture with my doll. Click on my doll to vote for me
