Solutions

The UNFPA, United Nations Population Fund had been giving money to China. To aid their failing resources $40 million was given in 1994, however when they determined that the money was going towards abortions, to further violate women and unborn girls, they stopped. Now it funds for the programs that they find are completely voluntary. The goals for the UNFPA are to provide health care that doesn't involve coercion, education for the citizens, and freedom to make choices without getting harassment.

For now that is the only solution in sight and I personally don't see any other possible solution. Until China's population starts to sufficiently decrease I don't think there's that much we can do.

One thing that definatly need immediate attention is the treatment of those rejected children living in the orphanages, the kids who are left to die because they're parents wanted a boy. I think we should make it easier to adopt children from China. There are thousands of couples in North America who would give anything to have a child and for what ever reason they physically can't do it. For these couples it can take years for them to even get concidered by agencies. why sould these couples have to wait years when there are hundreds of little kids dying in China everyday.
