Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, who blew out of Boston on Monday breaking 45,000 little ladies' hearts, was Back the other night shooting pool with pals at Jillian's.
Which leads us to wonder: Just how fractured is his right hand? Billiards one night, lobbing baseballs at Fenway Park a few days before. Sounds like a medical miracle!
Now, it's unclear why Nick returned to Boston after announcing a rehab hiatus for Backstreet bad boy A. J. McLean. But the speculation is that he needed to see the docs who last week treated his right hand's ``medicarpal neck fracture.''
Sources say he was injured shooting hoops. However, he told the FleetCenter crowd Saturday night he put his hand through a wall. Which is ever more macho!
Fast forward to the other night when Nick showed up at the Ipswich Street fun factory around 10 p.m. with a posse of guys and gals in tow.
Manager Chris Caruso, who rolled out the red carpet for the Boys during their short stint in Boston, ushered Carter & Company into the VIP room, where they shot pool, drank and feasted on appetizers. Around midnight, they Quit Playing Games and headed off.
``He said he wanted to come by to thank us for taking care of them over the weekend when they were here playing pool and checking out the video games,'' said the Jillian's guy.
Nice of him. Too bad he neglected to tip the help!
``What a cheap little guy,'' said one server source. ``He looked like a dork, too. He had on long khaki shorts and tube socks pulled up to his knees. They were horsing around, acting like 2-year-olds.''
Boys will be Boys!
