I walked through the sterile hospital hall way playing with the ring on my finger nervously.
"Come on Kara, get your act together." I told myself. " You're going to walk into a room of people that need you." I took a deep unsteady breath and let it out walking up to the reception desk.
"Excuse me, could you help me?"
"Sure thing honey." The old woman smiled warmly at me.
" My friend was brought in about-" I looked at my watch. " about five hours ago. Could you tell me where he is?"
"His name?"
"Carter, Nick Carter."
