Final Fantasy Seven. Those words bring the attention of any hardcare gamer at the snap of a finger. So what do I think of when I hear the words "Final Fantasy Seven"? Of course. Aeris. Sephiroth. Why did you have to do it, Sephiroth? Why, of course. Aeris sacrificed her life so that the planet might live. But I'll get to all that later. Since this is a plot summary, I better start from the beginning. The game starts out in the Mako-controlled city of Midgar. A small group called AVALANCHE has been put together by a 35-year old man named Barrett Wallace. He is joined by his friend Tifa Lockheart, who recruited mercenary Cloud Strife to join them. Their cause is to stop ShinRa, the company that basically rules the world, and is attempting to infest the world with Mako. Mako is a substance that comes from the Lifestream, which is where people go when they die. Along the way, Cloud meets a flower girl named Aeris Gainsborough. It turns out Aeris is the last Ancient living on Earth, and ShinRa is after her. She convinces Cloud to protect her. However, when the main pillar in Midgar is knocked down, Cloud has to go fight the President's son, Rufus. While this is happening, a group called the Turks abduct Aeris. There's only one place AVALANCHE figures they could have taken her, and that's the ShinRa Headquarters. They have no choice but to raid the Headquarters. When they finally find Aeris, they find out that a scientist named Hojo is planning on breeding her to a tiger-like creature called Red XIII. They're forced to fight one of Hojo's creatures, and because of the disturbance they're put in prison, and Aeris is taken away. But the next morning they find something shocking: A man named Sephiroth has came and killed the president. Supposedly Sephiroth had been killed 5 years ago. But how could he be here?
