PLEA FROM THE CHIEF RABBI OF ISRAEL

Due to the current crisis in Israel The Chief Rabbi of Israel--Maran Hagaon Harav Mordechai Eliyahu made a declaration to add the following prayer in the Amida prayer of "Shomea Tefillah"

"Aneinu Hashem Aneinu lishmor et Haaretz bidei am Yisrael vechol hachosvim limsor afiloo chelek me'Eretz Hakodesh bidei zarim hafer atzatam vekalkel machsavtam
Ki Ata shomeah kol peh baruch Ata Hashem Shomeah Tefillah"

In addition he has mentioned that all woman light an additional two candles on Shabbat (preferably oil wicks)before lighting the regular Shabbat candles..and they should then say the following "Yehi ratzon"
