History: Scorch was raised in the aftermath of a long-forgotten conflict, where Trevor Fitzroy had assumed power. His elemental powers are matched in intensity by his angst and resolve.

A former lover of Jinx, he was skeptical of Bishop when he first arrived in this feudal future - not believing him to be who he claims to be. The tension between the two was immediate, and a showdown in the refugee camp that Scorch protected was inevitable.
