**Mariah on new JAY-Z video??
I was watching BET's show "ALL" and the host said, STAY tuned for the GLOBAL PREMIER of JAY-Z's new video. I had to go somewhere right after that and I am trying to find out if Mariah is in the new video. If Anyone knows, PLEASE let me know. =)
**Kasey Kasem's Show
Over the weekend, I was listening to the Kasey Kasem show on the radio and Mariah was at #31 on it. He said "Moving up a notch here is Mariah Carey at #31 with THANK GOD I FOUND YOU". Why is she sooo low on this show?
**No Doubt likes Mariah?
I was watching MTV yesterday and there was a show "Making The Video" with the premiere of Mandy Moore's video, and after it was over, they showed what next weeks's episode will be. It will be the premiere of the rock group NO DOUBT's new video called "EX-GIRLFRIEND". And the lead singer, Gwen Steffani says she gets to beat up people in ther video, and she says, "I hope I beat these people up better in this video better than Mariah Carey beats up herself in her video". (is this saying Mariah did an awesome job?). And also, look at the title of the song, "EX-GIRLFRIEND". On Mariahs latest album "RAINBOW" she has a song called "X-Girlfriend". So, is the group NO DOUBT, Mariah fans?
**Thank God I Found You is HUGE!!
Great News..Mariah's latest single "Thank God I Found You" is a HUGE hit. IT leaps 20 spots on the Billboard's Hot 100 charts to rest at #2. My prediction is that it WILL be at #1 next week. The only thing holding it back is its Lack of Airplay, So PLEASEEE call your radio stations and request it till you aggrevate the DJ's, haha. Let's make "Thank God I Found You" Mariah's 15th #1 song.

**Mariah on Missy Elliot New CD?
Regina says Missy Elliot was MTV's Newslinkg and it says that she has a new album coming out in March which will feature a song with Mariah Carey :) If you ask me, I think it is probably the "Heartbreaker Remix" because it is also the song that DaBrat will have with Mariah. I may be wrong though. If anyone has info on this, Please let me know. =)
**Chart News!
Well, I dont really have anything to brag about this week on the charts. RAINBOW slips again from #21 to #23, and THANK GOD I FOUND YOU remains at the #22 spot for the second consecutive week. However, I do expect THANK GOD I FOUND YOU to be in the top 5 on next weeks charts because it is now in stores and from what i have heard, its selling pretty good. Please e-mail me and let me know how its selling in your area.

**Mariah's Next Single?
Well, I was just watching MTV and DaBrat and Jermaine Dupri were hosting a Superbowl special and playing videos. Well, They played the "Thank God I Found You" remix and once it was over, Jermaine said that he has the next single with Mariah and it has Usher in it, so that is the song "HOW MUCH". I figured that would be the next single. I'll keep you posted if i find anything else out.Christina sent me this picture which may be the cover for the HOW MUCH single. Not real sure if it will be though.

**Some Sad News!
I just found out that one of the little girls that Mariah had on the front seats at the AMA's last week, Colleen Wright, died Sunday. She was one of the 2 girls who sat in Mariah's seat from the AMA's Awards show. Her wish was to meet Mariah Carey before she passed on. She made this wish from the Make a Wish Foundation. So Mariah made a little girls dream comes true! Kind of brings a tear to the eye, huh? Please keep her family in your prayers!

**Just some funny news!
I was watching MTV's show "Celebrity Deathmatch" and the fighters were Sandra Bernhard (who constantly makes fun and talks trash about Mariah) and Martha Stewart. Well, Let me tell you, Sandra Bernhard got her Butt Kicked!!! haha. Thats what she gets for talking trash about Mariah. haha. j/k.

**Valentine's CD!
As You have probably already heard, Wal-Mart is releasing an Exclusive 5 track Mariah CD titled "Valentines". It is due out on January 25. This is what the cover looks like

It is said that the songs are "Vision Of Love", "Underneath The Stars", "My All", "Babydoll" and "Do You Know".

**The American Music Awards
As you know, Mariah was the opening performer on the American Music Awards. She performed "Thank God I Found You" and the "remix", with Joe and Nas. In my opinion, the performance was just OK. It would have been alot better if Mariah actually had more time to sing. It seems to me like it was Joe and Nas' performance. Mariah only sang like 4 lines. She was wearing an outfit that i am pretty sure will get some criticism. I thought it looked Awesome. Here is a Screen Capture.

**Cool News!
I just got this news from www.Riaa.com is says... Mariah Carey lands her ninth consecutive triple-platinum album with "Rainbow." Carey is the first female artist in music history to reach triple-platinum with her first nine releases.
Awesome isnt it?



**Thank God I Found You!
Some Good News, "Thank God I Found You", Mariahs second single from "Rainbow" is moving up the charts. It moves from Number 37 to Number 26 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Keep Requesting it and let's make it Mariahs 15th #1. =)

**Some Sad News =(
This week on the Billboard Albums Chart, Rainbow drops Dramatically on the chart. It falls from Number 9 to Number 17. Hopefully the AMA's will help bring RAINBOW sales up next week.

**Mariah to perform on American Music Awards!
Mariah is scheduled to perform "Thank God I Found You" for the opening performance on the American Music Awards on Monday, Jan. 17th. Check local listings for showtimes. Mariah will also win a special Award on the show. Be sure to catch this show.

**Former Carey mansion burns BEDFORD, New York (CNN) - Firefighters are blaming faulty wiring for a fire that burned down Mariah Carey's former dream house on Saturday. No one was in the $20.5 million mansion at the time. It had nine bedrooms, seven fireplaces, two swimming pools and a recording studio on 56 acres. The house was designed and built for the singer and her husband, Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola, in the mid-1990s. Carey and Mottola sold the mansion after their divorce in 1998. It was bought by Nelson Peltz, chairman of Triarc Cos., which runs Arby's, Royal Crown Cola and Snapple.
