and dream of the day you and I

the other is there...
our final resting place
is when we're together forever...
our destination is
in each other's arms...
One day soon we'll
not have to wonder again...
we'll only find it
hard to differentiate
between the stars in the sky and
the stars we see in each other's eyes...
If I could have you
in my arms
the sound of the sea
striking the ground soothes me
just as the rolling of the waves
upon the sandy beach
did when we were together...
I can't imagine anyone being
or feeling anything
more than what I feel for you...
