The Things You See, The Way You See Them

I gasped, and he looked down at the floor.

"You're kidding right?" I asked, looking down at my wrinkled clothes that I hadn't gotten around to changing yet.

"No. I mean, i don't know anything about you yet.. but you're so pretty." Tay said, a little muffled cuz it was to the floor.

"Thanks. Alot." I said, smiling. He looked up, and his cheeks were the color of tomatoes.

"Welcome. Um.. I guess we shoud go to the mall now, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so." I said reluctantly. I wasnted to stare at him forever.

It was a kind of short walk to the mall. We got in, and we found just what I needed. Black paint, blue lava lamp, christmas lights, black sheets and blanket, and I bought one CD too. Britteny Spears's, 'Ooops.. I did it again'. When we were done I had fifty bucks, so I decided to buy an outfit too. I bought wide leg jeans, a white tank top, a black overshirt, and new shoes. Then I remembered my ten bucks, plus the twenty I had left, and bought some posters, and magazines with Hanson in them. I decided to send Tay away when I bought those, because I felt weird buying them with him right there.

When we were done, Tay carried some of my bags, and said he'd help paint my walls tomarrow. I thanked him, and he smiled.

"You're just as nice as I would have guessed." I said to Tay, which caused both of us to blush. Then I thought "hmm.. how am I gunna hang up these Hanson pictures in the hanson household? Then I decided they would have to live. I wouldn't be embarresed., but I didn't know about them.

When we got back i was starving. I hadn't come down for dinner, so I decided to ask for some cookies.

Right then they got a phone call.
