Volume 1

A local artist sketched this picture of the acoustic duo, Janelle, and Peanut, while they were performing at Pub 261 in Pelham, Alabama.

For the past year I have been playing in a band called 18 Directions. I played rhythmn guitar/vocals. The rest of the band were as follows: Janelle on bass/vocals, Mark on drums, and Eddie on lead guitar. We occasionally worked as the backing band for a very talented young lady named Dee. We performed for her under the name of Greener Grass. I have since left this group of people and now I am currently recording originals on my 16 track recorder.

Kudos
  • Christine for inviting me out to play on April 25th,2002 at Smokey Joe's
  • Special shout out and thank you to Rush. I always enjoy playing with you.
  • Thanks to my good friend V, I now have lots of new pictures to add to my web site.
  • I must say Ola (sp?) to the entire staff of Tia's Tex Mex. I feel like we are a big family. And the free food that I get there doesn't hurt either.(smile)

  • Cinco Demayo Music Fest

Jason and Nate, members of Birmingham band, Jem, performed with me on May 5th, 2001. Thanks alot guys I had a blast! I encourage everyone in the Birmingham area to go out and listen their band, "Jem". They are one of the hottest bands on the local music scene.

    Local Scene

April 25th, 2002Tonight I attended an open mic at Smokey Joe's Cafe in Hoover, Alabama. I was invited by Christine, and Mark who are the editors of a local magazine called "The Snake Skin". Christine is writing a series on local Female musicians and I am flattered that she wants to do a story on me. Look for that story to come out in the June issue of "The Snake Skin".

I have volunteered to perform at Oak Mountain on May 9th, and 10th for the School Event, "Gone Fishing", for handicapped children.
