Carly was dancing in her bedroom. Since that night at Howie's club she was really hyper and always had to move or she was going nut. She was very happy and she was wishing so hard to be with him. But he haven't call yet. And she was pretty angry at her sisters the day before because Stacey had called her to go to Walt Disney with the others but she couldn't go because she had promised to her sisters that she'd go to the movie theater with them. The only thing she was thinking about was the kiss Howie and her shared before she left the club. She wanted to call him so hard. "No no, he says he was going to call me..." she repeated to herself. Suddently, the phone rang but she didn't hear it because the music was too loud. So Anna, her younger sister answered.
"Yeah hi?" she shouted happily.
"Hey, may I speak to Carly please?" Howie asked nervously.
"Hum... yeah sure. Who's speaking?"
"It's...hum.. Howie!" he answered.
"Oh my god!" she screamed. "You are Howie from the Backstreet boys?"
"Hum...yeah..." Howie said. "And you're probably Anna?" he added knowing her because Carly already talked to him about her two sisters.
"Oh man! This is soooo cool!! I'm talking to Howie of the Backstreet Boys for the first time and he knows me!!!!!" she shouted. "So, are you gonna go out with my sister?????"
"Oh well...we'll see that really soon..." he started.
"Great!! Then you could let me meet Nick alright???" she asked all happy.
"Ok no problem!" Howie laughed. "But only if you let me speak to Carly..."
"Alright sorry!! Wait a minute!" she said. Howie laughed when he heard Carly asking who was on the phone and her sister answering all excited that it was one of the Backstreet Boys.
"Howie?" Carly asked all smile.
"Yeah! Hey! I was wondering if I was going to talk to you today!" he laughed.
"Oh yeah! she's a real pest!" Carly said. "Wait a minute please!" she added. "Anna!!! Get out of my room please!!" Howie heard.
"Is he your boyfriend????" Anna kept asking.
"I'll talk to you later!! Now get out!" Carly said. Then Howie heard the door closed and Carly came back ."Sorry!! Like I was saying, she's a real pest!!!"
"How old is she already?" Howie asked giggling.
"She's 14! But sometime I feel like she's younger!" Carly laughed. "So...how are you?"
"I'm doing great! What about you?" he asked feeling more confortable.
"I'm doing great too! How was Disney World?" she asked smiling.
"It was okay! We had fun! But I think I would have had more fun if you would have been with me..." he smiled as she let out a shy giggle.
"I'm sure I would have had more fun with you guys!" she said. "I had to go to the cinema and watch Boys and Girls... ya know, a teen movie!" she laughed.
"You love those movies! You already told me!" he teased.
"Oh yeah...these are the best!" she said sarcasticaly.
"So...what do you say we both don't waste our time on this beautiful day and go out for a walk..." he said hoping she'd say yes.
"It's be great!" she said feeling like she was gonna scream.
"Good! What do you say I pick you up in...2 hours?"
"Perfect!" she said. "So, I'll see you then?!"
"Alright! See ya later sweetie!" he said.
"Ok Bye!" she said before to hang up. Then she jump on her bed and screamed into her pillows. "Finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouted.
"What did he say? What did he say???????" Anna asked entering in the room without knocking on the door.
"Get out!! I have to get ready!" Carly said walking to her closet to find what she was gonna wear.
"You're going out on a date???? With Howie??? Tell me tell me tell me please!!!!" Anna beg.
"We're just going for a walk... " Carly said.
"Yeah right... Is he picking you up here?" Anna asked.
"Stop asking questions please!!! Yes he is coming...in 2 hours!" Carly said impatiently.
"So cool!!!!!!!!!! Do you know what he told me? I asked him if he could let me meet Nick and he said yes!" she shouted all happy.
"Yeah great...now get out !!!!" Carly laughed pushing her sister out of the room.
*Meanwhile, at Brian's*
"Hey baby, wake upppp!" Brian sang softly strocking Amber's cheek. She opened her eyes painfully and looked at Brian's smile. "If he only knew..." she thought. It was hunting her mind. Everytime she was looking at him, the image of Nick and her in the same bed was appearing. She forced a smile and let him kiss her.
"I want you badly..." he said kissing her neck.
"Hum...Brian...I.." she started. He stopped and looked at her in the eyes but she avoided his look.
"What's wrong???" he asked. "You've been avoiding me for a while!"
"I'm...I'm not..." she said looking down.
"Then why aren't you looking at me..." he said lifting up her chin and plunge his eyes into hers.
"I'm sorry... everything is alright.." she said not really convincing.
"Listen, I know I've been rude with you and it wasn't really nice of me. You probably thought something was up with Leighanne because I was so nervous...but I swear everything is alright...we talked and we're fine. I repeat that I'm really sorry for everything I've said or did... I love you..." he said still looking at her in the eyes.
"I love you too!!!" she said holding him and starting to cry.
"Hey sshhh...what's wrong? Why are you crying?" he asked worried.
"Because I love you so much!" she said between to sob. Brian hold her for a long time, strocking her hair. He was pretty confused and was wondering why she was crying like that. They finally both fell asleep in each other arms.
Two hours later, Howie parked in front of a beautiful small house. He got out of his car and walked to the door. The minute he was going to rang the bell, someone opened the door.
"Hey!! I'm Anna!!!" she shouted with a huge smile accross her face.
"Hi Anna! I'm Howie!" he said amused by Carly's little sister.
"Carly is changing clothes for the 200th time but she'll probably be ready soon... you can come in" Anna said leading him to the living room. "Carly!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed.
"Yes yes... it won't be long!!!!!!!!!!" Carly replied. She was in her bedroom looking at herself in the mirror over and over again. She finally gave up and walked to the living room, finding Howie and Anna in a discussion about Nick. She watched them with a grin until Howie turned his head and saw her.
"Hey!!!!! You look ... beautiful!" he said standing up.
"Thank you!" Carly answered with a huge smile.
"You ready?" he asked.
"Yes!!"
"I hope you are, you've been running all over the place for 2 hours!!" Anna said what made Howie laugh and Carly blush.
"Ok let's go!!!" Carly said impatient to get away from her sister. "Be careful Ann... you know mom doesn't like when you're alone at home... don't make any mess please!"
"Alright boss! Bye! Bye Howie!"
"Bye Anna! See ya!!"
The new couple left and they talked all the way until they reached a big park.
"Where are we?" Carly asked.
"It's a park where I was coming when I was little... it's beautiful you'll see!" he answered.
They walked out the car and entered in the park. During all the afternoon they walked and talked about their lifes and things and others. It was a beautiful day and everything was perfect. The park was longing a small river and there were not too much people that day. At a moment Howie took her hand and for all the rest of the afternoon they walked hand in hand, smiling.
"Wanna dinner with me?" Howie asked her with a beautiful smile.
"I would love to... but I have to get back at my house because Anna will be alone for dinner and the evening so...I kinda have to babysit her because my mother and my other sister are away until late tonight.." Carly sighed.
"Oh I see.." he said. "What do you say I go with you and we both 'babysit' your sister?"
"Really??" she asked surprised.
"Yeah! It'll be fun! We could rent movies and watch them with her..."
"Alright...that's great!" she smiled. She got closer to him and kissed him tenderly.
A while later they got back to Carly's house and announced to Anna that they were gonna spend the evening with her.
"Yahoooo!!!!!!!" she shouted. "Can I invite some of my friends to come over?"
"No way! You're going to their houses or you stay here with us...alone!" Carly said not wanting to have tons of teens all over the place.
"Alright alright..I'll stay!" Anna pouted.
"You know, you can go to their houses...you're not oblige to stay because Howie is here.." Carly giggled.
"Hey! There's a backstreet boys in my house! I gotto enjoy that moment!" Anna replied walking away from the kitchen.
"Yeah yeah!" Carly sighed.
"I hope she'll get use to see me here..." Howie laughed.
"Oh because you're planning to come often?" Carly asked with a grin.
"Of course!" he said before to put his lips on hers.
"I knew you two were having something up!!!!!" Anna said smiling before to leave the kitchen again.
"Oooh it's gonna be horrible!" Carly said putting her face on Howie's chest, desperate. Howie laughed and wrapped his arms around her.
*During this time, at Aj's*
"I knew you were a good dancer...but I never thought you'd be that good!!!" Becky exclamed while the two new lovers were dancing on some salsa songs in the backyard. They didn't know what to do so they were dancing all over the place, having a lot of fun. They were both dance lovers so they weren't getting tired. They were doing some stupid things and laughing most of the time. They had planned that they would go see a movie later in the night.
"I'm the best dancer of the world baby!" Aj replied with an Austin Power voice.
"Nah...that's not true...I'm the best!" she shouted with a grin.
"We're the two best dancers than... that's why we're so great together!!!" Aj said smilin.
"Huh-uh!" she nodded smiling too. "So tell me...can you make every dances that exist?" she asked grinning.
"Anything you want Princess!!!" he answered with a sexy look.
"Ooouhh...I think I'll have some fun tonight!" she shouted laughing.
"You bet!" he said. "You know, I think I didn't have that much fun for a long while!" he added seriously.
"Me neither!" she smiled. "Well..since Nick and Brian have new girlfriends.." she laughed.
"Yeah...well I think that's better that way..." Aj said.
"Why??"
"Because I can have you all for me..." Aj started. "And now I can also walk safetly, knowing that there is no one of you 3 going to run after me with a bucket full of water!"
"Oh god that was so funny!" Becky laughed remembering that day. They had called this day The 'we get on Aj's nerve' day. So they had planned tons of tricks against Aj...like running after with a bucket full of water.
"It wasn't funny!" Aj pouted with a little smile. "I'll throw you 3 bucket of water...you'll see it's not funny!"
"You don't need that...there's the pool right there.." Becky laughed pointing the pool.
"Are you defying me to do it?" Aj asked.
"Yes!"
"Alright then... if you want it that way..." he said.
"I want it that wayyyy!!" Becky sang laughing. But she stopped when Aj took her and leaded her to the pool. "No Aj!!! I was kidding!! Please!!!"
"Hey you said you wanted it that way!!!" Aj replied pushing her closer to the pool.
"No no please!" she begged.
"I love you princess!!!" he said giving her a quick kiss. Then he pushed her in the swimming pool, all dressed.
"You're gonna regret that!!!!" Becky shouted when she came at the surface of the water.
"Really??" Aj laughed. "Alright then.... BONZAIIII!!!!!" he screamed jumping in the swimming pool.
"I'm gonna kill you McLean!!!!" Becky said reaching him and keeping him under the water to play.
"You can't kill me!! I'm superman!!!" Aj said with a really low voice.
"I don't think so... Superman was a gentleman!" Becky giggled.
"You think I'm not a gentleman??"
"No!!! You pushed me in the pool!!!"
"Hey, sorry little girl, but you asked me to!!" Aj said defending hiself.
"Yeah so? You weren't suppose to do it!!!"
"Oooh that's right! When a girl say to do something... you have to do the opposite to make her happy!!!" Aj said hitting his forehead with his hand.
"Hey!!!" Becky replied smacking his arm.
"That's true! Guys aren't complicated like this... like, if I ask you to kiss me.." he said moving closer to her. "That mean that..I want you to kiss me..." he added planting a long sweet kiss on her lips.
"Mmm...are you sure?" she asked when they broke the kiss.
"Yeah...100% sure!"
"Well...apparently... you're the one who kissed me... " she laughed.
"Oh damn! Who cares!!!!" he said taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately.
Nick was going crazy alone in his big house. He was feeling so strange. He never felt like this before...he was scared and so confused. Everything around him seemed so unreal...He wished he could go back in time and erease the 2 last months of his life. He felt like he made so much mistakes during that time. He knew that Amber was going to talk...to tell Brian what happen between her and him. He knew that Brian had the right to know but he was so scared to lose his best friend. What he had done was unforgetable and Brian wasn't going to forgive him for this. He knew how much it would hurt Brian to know this...He kept saying to hiself that Brian didn't need to know that for now and that Amber had to be more carefull and act as normal as possible...And he thought about Rachel..how was he going to tell her...he knew he had to broke up. That things would never work out for them...he felt so guilty...Suddently the phone sang
"Hello?!?" Nick answered after 4 rings
"Hey May I speak To Nick please?!" a young voice asked
"Yeah it's me.." he replied
"Hey it's me!How ya doing?!" Rachel said
"Hey...not too bad!" Nick replied softly
"You're sure?!?!you sound sad?!"
"No I'm ok and I'm sure!!I was just sleeping!"he lied
"hooo Sorry!!I didn't want to wake you up..."Rachel excused
"It's ok I wasn't really sleeping..and you are you doing ok?!?!" he said trying to be more positive
"Humm Yeah I'm ok!!really busy with school!!It's good to hear your voice"she said smiling at Nick's picture that she hold in her hands
"yeah!" he sighed
"Well I"ll let you go back to sleep and I'll call you back later ok?!?!" she sighed
"like you want!"
"Ok See ya baby!!" Rachel said
"Yeah..humm Rachel?!?!" he said not to sure
"Yeah?!?" she asked
"humm I heee well I humm well..humm I Just..well..well I just wanna say bye!!" Nick said feeling stupid...he wanted so much to tell her the truth and how he felt but he he knew that by the phone it's wasn't the solution
"ok!! Bye take care..." she said before to hang up
"yeah bye..." he said hangin up. He didn't move for a few seconds feeling so stupid...he hated hiself...he got up on his feet and walked to the kitchen and then opened the refrigerator and took his 6 pack beer and ran to his draw room where he satt and drank and drank..trying to forget about his problem..about his life...
*Back at Carly's*
"I told you we shouldn't have let her rent the movies!" Carly said to Howie while they were all 3 sitting in the living room to watch the movies Anna had rent.
"It's alright!!" Howie giggled.
"Stop whining Carly! You like those movies as much as I do!" Anna said.
"I'm sorry... but the only movie I really want to watch in those 3 is Final Destination because I heard it was good... and obviously, we will watch it later because you're scared!!" Carly said.
"I'm not scared...but I prefer She's All That and 10 Things I Hate About You!" Anna replied.
"but...those movies are totally the same thing!!!!!! Don't you realize it??" Carly asked desperate.
"They aren't the same thing..." Anna said sitting on the floor.
"Ok ok girls, stop!" Howie said laughing. "Let's just watch them and we'll see..."
"I'm sorry... " Carly whispered so Anna wouldn't hear.
"Why?"
"Because you have to watch that crap!!" Carly sighed.
"I don't care ya know... I'm with you and that's what I wanted..." he smiled. She smiled back and layed her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her. They watched the first movie quietly but during the second Anna started asking some questions about Nick what made both Carly and Howie laugh.
"Do you wanna know everything he does during the days?" Carly asked her sister. "In details?"
"If you know it...why not!!!" Anna said with a huge smile.
"I would like to tell you...but I don't even know myself!" Howie laughed.
"You never shared your room with him?"
"Are you crazy? No one wants to share his room with Nick!" Howie said. "I'm kidding... but, I don't know everything in details... "
"Alright...then...does he have a girlfriend?" Anna finally asked. Howie looked at Carly to know if it was alright if he says yes. He didn't want her little sister to be sad or hurt. Carly answered for him.
"Yes he's deeply in love with a girl right now!" she said. "So now that you asked the question you wanted to, watch the movie!"
"It's true?" Anna looked at Howie.
"Well...deeply in love I don't know..but yes he's with someone right now..." Howie nodded.
"Alright then!" she said. A few second later she talked again. "What's her name???"
"Aaah Anna!! Will you shut up for a minute?" Carly sighed as Howie laughed.
"I can't tell you her name because...it's not that I don't trust you ...but I don't think Nick would be really happy if everyone knew who he was dating..." Howie said.
"You can tell her you don't trust her ... " Carly giggled but Anna didn't care about what her big sister was saying.
"Ok then...how old is she?" Anna asked what made Carly sighed again.
"She's 18..." Howie said laughing at Carly who was totally desesperate.
"Do you have all you wanted to know Ann???" Carly asked.
"Yeah yeah... " her sister answered turning to the tv.
The rest of the evening went great and during the third movie Anna was sleeping and Carly and Howie cuddling on the couch. When it came to the end, it was time for Howie to go.
"I had a great time!" he smiled.
"Yeah...me too... except for my annoying sister!" Carly said.
"It's not that bad..." howie laughed. "I can't say I would like to pass all my evenings with her... but it was alright!"
"You defenetely wouldn't like to pass all your evenings with her..believe me!"
"Next time, you're coming to my house alright?"
"No problem!" she smiled.
"All call you tomorrow!" he said kissing her goodbye. "Good night sweetie!"
"Good Night!"
"Oh Carly!!" Howie shouted remembering something.
"yeah???"
"Do you want to come with me at Leighanne's dinner tomorrow night?" he asked.
"Yeah sure! I would love too!!" she replied all smile.
"Great! I'll call you tomorrow about it!" he smiled too.
"Alright! Bye Bye!"
