                     Reviews & Predictions
Listen To My Heart - Jacynthe  ***
After the success of I'll Be, Jacynthe is back with Listen To My Heart, a great sounding summer song. It has a kind of tropical beat to it, and of course the vocals are good as well. This is one of those songs that does not tire easily. It should be interesting to see how Jacynthe does on the Canadian Top 40 now that she's known.
Too Much Of Heaven - Eiffel 65  ***1/2
Sadly, this song has the best rythym feeling of any song out there, and it won't get any airplay. The vocals flow with the music superbly, as if they're freelancing. Hopefully radio stations will acknowledge how good this song really is, and play it. Eiffel 65 isn't a one hit wonder. They are good artists who make good music and should be given more spins than they get.
Wonderful - Everclear  ***
After a two year hiatus from music, Everclear finally releases a song that is upbeat, puts the listener in a good mood and most importantly makes the listener want to listen. It's a goes along at a moderate pace, but works well with the guitars and the vocals. Everclear has only ever had one Top 40 hit in this country but this could be No 2.
Carousel - Bratt Pack  **1/2
Bratt Pack is new to the music scene and their first release is Carousel. The song overall doesn't hit the mark however. It has all the elements of a good song. It has a good melody, and the lyrics are satisfactory. Something just doesn't work however. This may sneak into the Top 40, but don't expect it to be a huge hit.
Keepin It Real - D-Cru  ***
The traditional sound of D-Cru is back with Keepin' It Real. It's the fifth single from their album which is two years old this fall. Keepin' It Real has a good beat and sound and will keep the listener coming back for more. It is doubtfull that it will hit the heights that I Will Be Waiting did, but it should get some kick from that song and become Top 20 soon.
Riddle - En Vouge  ***
En Vouge's first new song in three years is well, pretty good. It has some very cool beats and rhythms. It also features some good harmonies from the ladies. It hasn't taken off in Canada yet but should any week now. Look for it to become Top 20.
