As I walked with Charlene to join the group of five guys that were waiting near the doors I looked at Charlene. She had a big grin on her face.
"I guess that means your excited??" I asked then laughed.
"Yeah..I guess you could say that!" She said. We stopped talking as we got close to them. Just then I saw Nick.
"Hey Jessica..Charlene..you made it!"
"Yup..we're here!" Charlene said.
"Miss us that much Carter??" I asked as I gave him a hug. Everyone laughed and I looked at AJ. He was looking at me but when I looked at him he turned his attention to Charlene.
"Hi..I'm Howie D" A guy said with a wink.
"I'm Kevin." I heard a deep voice say.
"And I'm Brian!" Said someone with a slight accent. I shook all of their hands and we began walking inside to watch Mission Impossible 2.
"Hey Alex." I said once we were walking inside.
"Hey." He said and walked ahead of the group.
"What's wrong with him?" Brian asked me.
"I don't know.." I said and frowned.
"It will all work out." Nick said and put his arm around my shoulder. I didn't respond to that. I just kept on walking. I watched the movie without paying much attention to it. My eyes kept wondering toward the left where AJ was sitting. Nick saw this.
"Hey..did you see that elephant shoot Tom?" He asked me.
"Yea..what!?" I asked.
"Just trying to get your attention. You know, you shouldn't do this..if it was meant to be, which I think it is, it will happen in its own time." He whispered to me. I nodded and looked at AJ just in time to see him look at me, stand up and walk out into the lobby.
