We ended up going to a club. AJ new the doorman so he let us underage people in. Being as it was so crowded no one would notice. We got a booth in a corner and AJ and Nick went to go get drinks.
"Jess..do I look alright? AJ has hardly said two words to me." She said with a worried look.
"You look great! He is probably just thinking about something..don't worry..Plus..there are other guys here if ya want to look around." I said laughing at her shocked face. "Kidding..this is me..kidding.." She stuck out her tongue at me to this.
"You know..I heard that when you stick out your tongue..its sexual frustration." I told her.
"Jesus Jessica!" She said laughing her rump off. " Maybe AJ will change that.." She said then sighed.
"Maybe.." I said and looked up to see AJ and Nick with the drinks. Nick handed me a glass.
"What's this?" I asked then took a sip of it.
"Vodka Tonic." He told me then took a drink of his.
"Ok.." I said then drank some more. I looked over at Charlene and AJ laughing and talking at the other end of the table.
"Working on it already Charlene?" I asked, then cracked up. She was about to stick out her tongue again.
"No no..remember what I said!" I said and laughed even harder. I saw AJ looking at me and mouthed 'what?" I just shook my head and giggled seeing AJ stick his tongue out.
"So..Jessica..what do you do?" Nick asked me.
"I work at Sears with Charlene part time then work for my mother at a doctor's office filing and stuff."
"That's cool." He said. I went to take another drink but found that my glass was empty. I set it back down and looked at AJ.
"Alex..can you get me another drink?" I asked with puppydog eyes. He laughed and went to get another drink for me and his self since no one else was done.
"So Nick..your a BackStreet Boy..is it fun?" I asked not really interested. Nick smiled and I knew he liked this topic of conversation. He went into a big discussion about it and I just knodded and drank my drink that AJ brought back. I was feeling kinda bored and decided I needed to dance. Nick took a break in talking so I asked him.
"No..I can't really dance that good..I would embarass you." He said and looked down.
"Oh..that's OK.." I said and smiled. I sat there looking around at everyone dancing.
"May I have this dance?" I heard someone ask. I looked up to see AJ smiling down. I glanced over at Charlene to make sure it was alright and took AJ's hand as he led me to the dance floor. A slow song came on and I swayed along to the music with AJ. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I layed my head on his shoulder.
"So..having a good time with Nicky Boy?" He asked.
"Yea..I guess.." I said and we just stood there in silence til the song ended. We stood there a moment til another song came on. This one was fast. AJ smiled and we began to dance. I think I had a lil too much to drink because when AJ pulled me closer I did moves I would never do in public. After the dance I was hot so we went back to the table. I sat down and noticed Charlene looking at me with hurt in her eyes.
