Lane is a junior who played JV baseball last year and joined the varsity squad for sectionals.  He is a hard worker with a good bat.  He should help give the Panthers some more offense and pop in the lineup.  A smart ball player who is willing to listen and learn.

Lane should see playing time at first base, in the outfield, as well as a designated hitter.  He is continuing to improve defensively and should be a contributor to the Panther's success this year.
