At the begining of the concert Evan, Alex and Noah came out and Evan told
everyone how half of the money from the concert was going to his foundation
and to have fun tonight for Michael. Then acts including 9 days, BBMAK,
Gloria Gaynor, and ATC performed. After that Evan, Alex and Noah returned and
lit 16 candles for Michael's 16th birthday and put them on the stage. He was
then listing all of Michael's amazing accomplishments. Writing a book, being
in a band, making 3 CD's, making a movie and being on a television show all
for money for cancer research and all before the age of 16. Domenic and
Gloria were introduced and she said that she felt Mike's spirit. A 15 minute
video was shown including clips from Behind the Awesumness and what looked
like home videos from when Mike was younger while Alex got ready to sing a
song. He was crying a lot and even from my seat you could tell he was the
most emotional. He was wiping his eyes a lot and after the video was over he
sang a beautiful song although it was hard to make out the words, because he
was singing pretty low. A D. J (I forgot his name) read a letter to Domenic
and Gloria telling him how strong they were and how much he loved them. This
is when I really started crying first because of Michael and second because I
hated to see the guys and Michael's parents like that. Noah explained how
Mike loved to sing. Especially his song Vizualize which started playing and
everyone was asked to sing along. There were only a couple of people singing
because I guess they were to busy crying. Anyway the Tribute was absolutely
beautiful and amazing.
